To fuck with the paranoid folks amongst us. Like I said, it’s someone being a funny bugger. I know that if it were me who'd done this that I'd be pissing myself laughing at the thought of all those Conspiracy Theorists making the redirect in to something it isn't.

Conspiracy Theorists are some of the easiest people to mind-fuck by using basic (and very well known) Social Engineering techniques because they are always looking for hidden meaning in pretty much everything they encounter. And the sad truth is that sometimes TPTB or some wage-slave with a good sense of humour will fuck with you in the name of disinformation. :)
