Tony Blair's controversial former press aide Tom Kelly leads a list of four of the ex-Prime Minister's staff to receive honours.
Mr Kelly, Downing Street's official spokesman for six years, is appointed Companion of the Order of the Bath.

He caused outrage in 2003 when he described Dr David Kelly as a 'something of a Walter Mitty character' after the weapon inspector's suicide.
It was a comment that summed up the culture of spin during the Blair years.
Mr Kelly, a brusque Ulsterman who is now director of corporate affairs for BAA, later apologised to Dr Kelly's family.
im amazed that people like this deserve any awards i feel the whole new years honours list should now be scrapped
