I've just had a look at the other forum, apparantley it's not working due to spam and attacks on passwords, but they're working on updating the site.

the old one sucked.
too much spam, too much porn, etc. :p

it will probably be a while until harris is back from his trip in space, to save the forum

It's strange, but ConspiracyCentral went down at the same time. ConCen's back up now so hopefully Harris' forum will be too.

One big indicator that something big is about to hit us could be that all conspiracy sites go down at once. If that happens then watch the skies because black hellicopters and UFO's will be in them soon!

The original DavidIckeForum contained masses of qualitative information, if you browsed hard enough, & big belly laughs to boot.. Full of information, fun & dented cyber egos in equal measure.

A fascinating experiment in social anthropology.

This incarnation, Ickeforum#2, is a tad eutrophic by comparison.

eu·troph·ic (yū-trŏf'ĭk, -trō'fĭk) pronunciation
adj.

Having waters rich in mineral and organic nutrients that promote a proliferation of plant life, especially algae, which reduces the dissolved oxygen content and often causes the extinction of other organisms. Used of a lake or pond.

You've lost me there..:o

Ah, so it was an insult, always nice with some creative mudslinging.
-"How eutrophic of you", yes that works, I think I will use that next time I need to insult someone (never)!:D :D :D

I prefer sedimentslinging.

Eutrophication as a metephor for IckeCom;

Recovery?

The palaeolimnological data for IckeCom suggest that this Forum may be showing recent signs of recovery from eutrophication. Our data are supported by reports of ecological change (e.g. lower algal abundance, increased water clarity, increased macrophyte abundance) since the reduction of point sources of P and the DI-TP for the surface sediment sample is in agreement with the current measured mean TP concentration.. Higher resolution diatom analysis for the period representing the last two months is required to ascertain whether these subtle species shifts represent a sustained recovery at IckeCom
