Worldwide Plan to Make All Poor People Rich
http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/98597/_worldwide_plan_to_make_all_poor_people.html
Step right up...free money for everyone on the planet! Now, for all of you out there who fell cheated and poor we have just the thing to brighten your day. In an unprecedented, never before event, all governments around the world have agreed to take from the rich and give to the poor! Yes, that means that any rich slob out there is gonna be subject to a special "equal distribution to the poor asset sale" that will take effect immediately.

All of you over-wealthy, greedy, and untrustworthy rich people will not be able to hide your assets any longer. Special government appointed "re-distribution agents" will be going door to door (or yacht to yacht) impounding every asset you own. All assets will be sold for cash and the money put into a gigantic worldwide re-distribution pool. With all the wealth in the world, every government can re-pass-it-out and make the poorest man rich like a king.

It's about time that we put a stop to all this wealth while the poor suffer day in and day out. The Democrats said they were gonna make changes that would benefit everyone. Well, almost everyone. If you are in the top 20% of the richest people on the planet, you should have voted Republican. Because now, the richest 20% will give to the poorest 80% and everyone in the world will be happy and as rich as the next guy. The rich have had it coming for a long time because they keep getting richer and richer and richer. It just ain't fair to the majority of people on this planet, being that they are poor people and all.

You kept begging your government to do something about it and finally it has. Don't worry, unless your assets are over $20,527.44 you are safe from the new re-distribution collection. Government computers have added up all the wealth of those wealthiest S.O.B.'s and almost blew a fuse counting up all those big numbers with so many zeros next to 'em. The world will be better off with no rich people. Most of them stole it anyway, those dirty rotten crooks. At least it will give you poor people one less thing to complain about.

ow for the good part. If you are among the poorest 80% of the world's population, you automatically qualify for a re-distribution check. We know that a lot of you poor people don't got cars or can't afford to buy gas, so every government around the world will be mailing out checks to the poor. That is minus a small handling fee, of course. It may take a few weeks to get all the wealthy's assets together and convert them to cash. So, you should be gettin' your money by the end of the year or about the same time as you get your tax forms. You'll have to pay taxes on that money until we can work out a new equal-distribution plan. But you can use the same loopholes as the rich 'cause that's what you'll be. See how it all works out in your favor?

Well, after adding everything up and computing the numbers, it works out that all you poor people around the world will now be equal to all the rich people. That's 'cause you'll be getting your fair share of the affluent's money! Yep, with your check for $20,507.44, you will be as rich as the richest guy on earth! And who said the government never gets anything right? You just wait, we'll have that social security thing fixed up in time for everyone to get a check by this time next year too! So, if you blow all your money from this check during 2007 and become poor once more...we'll fix you right up and make you rich all over again!

Note: The figure of $20,500 comes from a recent study by The World Institute for Development Economics Research of the United Nations University (UNU-Wider). That figure comes from taking all the wealth in the world and dividing it equally among the world's population.

How Many Millionaires are There in the World?
http://ww-success.com/blog/index.php/2006/10/16/millionaires-in-the-world/
The word millionaire is generally used to describe a rich person. When we speak of a millionaire, we think about mansions, limousines and yachts. But what is the most accurate definition of a millionaire? The most recognized definition of a millionaire is a person who has financial assets of at least US$ 1 million, excluding the home value. Despite of the images that we associate with this word, the amount of US$1 million nowadays is no longer what is used to be some decades ago. Many people who have this amount today live without luxuries and do not feel rich. However, this amount is used as a measure to differentiate privileged people, who are known as HNWI (High Net Worth Individuals).

How many millionaires, or HNWIs are there in the world? According to the research made by CapGemini and Merryl Lynch published in the World Wealth Report 2006, there are about 2,669,000 millionaires in the United States , or about 0.9% of the population. In the whole world there are 8.7 million millionaires, or about 0.13% of the world-wide population. The total number of millionaires in the world grew 6.5% in 2005. They possess a total of US$33.3 trillions in financial assets. The majority of the millionaires are in North America (United States and Canada).

The table below shows the distribution of millionaires in the main regions of the world:
North America - 2.9 million
Europe - 2.8 million
Asia-Pacific - 2.4 million
Latin America - 0.3 million
Middle East - 0.3 million
Africa - 0.1 million

There is another level of extreme millionaires. These are the people who possess more than US$30 million in financial assets. These people are trully rich, and have the financial power to live in mansions, and to buy yatches. There are a total of 85,400 people in the world who fall in this level of wealth, and almost half are in North America. Although this level of wealth is practically unreacheable for the great majority of people, the goal of becoming a millionaire, or to be a HNWI, is completely viable for most people. If you have this objective you may be curious to know where the wealth of these millionaires comes from.

I pray a redistribution of wealth is not seen as a redistribution of resources which is whats really needed. The former is largely a waste of time.

If you think "wealth" means a piece of paper or some cybernetic transfer of imaginary funds... You are SADLY mistaken.

Soon, the most valuable resourse on earth will be CLEAN DRINKING WATER!
