View Full Version : The Queen's Christmas Speech

Today the Queen made a Christmas speech from the opulence of her estate in Sandringham...
http://spiritual-nature.com/images/sandringha.jpg
These are some excepts from her speech;
"The Christmas story also draws attention to all those people who are on the edge of society - people who feel cut off and disadvantaged; people who, for one reason or another, are not able to enjoy the full benefits of living in a civilised and law-abiding community."
People who FEEL cut off and disadvantaged? I guess the hunger pangs and freezing weather in a building that has poor heating could make one FEEL disadvantaged, yes. Especially if you are a child born into those circumstances.
People who, for one reason or another are not able to defend themselves against a marauding army of robots that enjoy killing women and children. Read this thread for details (http://www.davidicke.com/forum/showthread.php?t=16275). Children, sometimes as young as three, that are left suddenly orphaned, and in charge of caring for younger siblings. Yes, for one reason or another, I cannot understand why they aren't able to enjoy the full benefits of living in a civilized and law-abiding community, when their only crime was having been born in Sudan, Afghanistan or Iraq.
Give me a fucking break, you rich, spoiled and disconnected idiot.
"All the great religious teachings of the world press home the message that everyone has a responsibility to care for the vulnerable."
Why don't you put your money where your mouth is, and lead by example, lady?
http://spiritual-nature.com/images/sandringham.jpg
"A familiar introduction to an annual Christmas carol service contains the words: 'Because this would most rejoice his heart, let us remember, in his name, the poor and the helpless, the cold, the hungry, and the oppressed; the sick and those who mourn, the lonely and the unloved.' "
What exactly does that mean? Let's feast on thoughts of the miserable?
How lovely of you Liz(ard), to grace your subjects with such a cold and unfeeling speech during such desperate times.

I think all these places would make fine accommodation for those down on their luck right now. Like I said Liz, put your money where your mouth is instead of wagging a finger at those so much less privileged than you are about giving to the poor. Get a serious reality check!

Ha,ha, yeah, heard the little speech.
Our Dutch queen ditto. Always talks about the poor
and compassion bla,bla...
But was a bit surprised actually when i saw that little
black and white archive material at the end.
Especially when she smiled, quite good looking....
Was from 1956, I believe...

Someone wants ideas on here about waking the sheeple up lol I suggest that everyone get over to you tube and attack Queen Lizard on her Royal Channel.
Let the sheeple know who she really is descended from, why she tries hard to hide her geneology and changes her name often. You will see me posting there I am sure :)

I left a message at the BBC place where they had the BRUISE story posted. The last message left was by some sheeple saying what a lovely dear the queen is and how she is to be admired for doing so much at her age
My response was really scathing, and of course never made it past those that had to approve my message for publishing.
So, I wonder what kind of censorship there'll be at her video spot

The whole concept of royalty (over indulged and privileged bloodlines who consider themselves 'special' enough to rule the rest of us) is IMO a scourge requiring TOTAL erradication as soon as possible!

True that Greenish Lady, true that.
/gangsta off
The whole idea of privledged by birth royalty never sat right with me as a child in history class (the only class I payed attention in). It just seems so incredibly wrong - and what do they do besides run around like american celebrities flaunting their wealthy with UBER-extravagence... NOTHING, not one damn thing... I really cannot understand these people that obsess over royals and celebrities... it is so fucking pathetic.
Edit: Obviously I didn't pay attention during the whole 'grammar' thing either. LOL

The poor love.
Don't the council normally rehouse you into a granny flat once your children have left home? That place is huge. It must cost a fortune to heat and on a married couples pension that can't leave much over. She has my pity that woman, she brought up a large family on state benefits, it can't have been easy for her.

Hi Everyone
I just watched the queen speech on the royal channel at Youtube. They have conveniently disabled to "post a comment" button so that nobody can reply or make any comments. That is so typical, I was really looking forward to reading the replies and having a good laugh.

It is one fucked up forum ain't it, blind worship of sick inbred parasites. Notice how the forum posters are called "commoners" "majesty" "heir apparent" etc according to the amount of posts they have made.
Oh for fecks sake!! This is amusing - if it wasn't so bloody sad.... theres a thread on there discussing the 'Wit of Prince Phillip'!!
I'm afraid I'll always stay a commoner!!!

"I think she's got elements a bit like Goebbels in her attitude to culture," the historian said.

THIS year's Christmas message from the Queen has failed to impress the critics with most dismissing it as self-indulgent and boastful.
The Queen spent two days writing and recording the speech watched by more than 23 billion mammals across the globe on Christmas Day.
George Monbiot, Queen's Christmas Message reviewer for the Guardian, wrote: "The whole thing was a self-satisfied diatribe about how she's the Queen and I'm not.
"The footage from the 1950s was particularly despicable. She's basically saying, 'I've been the Queen for absolutely ages', as if somehow that makes her better than me."
Andrew Motion, the Poet Laureate, writing in the Daily Mail, said: "Jesus, whose very birthday it was, received just three miserable paragraphs, then it was back to her and her ghastly husband flying around the world, forcing everyone to repaint their houses.
Former home secretary Douglas Hurd, writing in the Daily Telegraph, said: "They should go back to doing it live.
"Remember the great Christmas message of 1974? What a year it had been - the miner's strike, Watergate, Keegan scores two in the cup final. There was a bead of sweat on her brow and the whole thing crackled with tension, especially after all those rumours she would say 'piss'."
He added: "I still feel that her message about the destitute lacks conviction.
"Perhaps next year, instead of using one of her eight centrally-heated palaces, she should deliver the speech while sitting on top of a noisy, homeless Scotsman in the middle of rain-sodden car park in Croydon."

Palace reveals cost of UK royals
LONDON, England (CNN) — Queen Elizabeth and the royal family cost British taxpayers an average of 66 pence ($1.32) per person last year, Buckingham Palace announced Friday in its annual report of royal finances.
The total cost of the queen and royal family was 40 million pounds ($80 million) in the past fiscal year, an increase of 2 percent from the year before, according to the Royal Public Finances report.
The man in charge of managing the queen’s financial affairs said she has tried to keep costs down, pointing out that the queen’s expenses are more than 3 percent lower in real terms than they were in 2001.

This palace is a mess, Your Majesty
THE ROOF leaks, the wallpaper's peeling; there's no cash to fix it
ALEXANDRA SHIMO | July 9, 2008 |
Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, whose personal fortune is pegged at an estimated $670 million, cannot afford to change the wallpaper, fix the leaks, repair the crumbling masonry, nor remove the asbestos in her official residences, according to a new financial report. Most of the state rooms have not been refurbished since the Queen came to the throne in 1952, while parts of the electrical wiring at Buckingham Palace date from 1948. At Windsor Castle, only the state rooms that were damaged by the 1992 fire have been redecorated. According to royal aides, the Queen worries she will have to entertain guests in rooms with peeling wallpaper. Of particular concern is the leaky roof over Buckingham Palace's picture gallery, which houses works by masters such as Rembrandt. In 2007, a chunk of the facade fell off the palace, narrowly missing Princess Anne's parked car.
The Queen's accountant, Sir Alan Reid, who has the decidedly plum title of Keeper of the Privy Purse, says the backlog of essential maintenance and repairs has grown because the government has frozen the funds allocated to the upkeep of Her Majesty's official properties. (In return for the profits of the Crown Estates, the government pays to maintain the palaces.) For the past 12 years, those funds have been held at $30 million. The royal household has made repeated requests for more money, all rejected. The palace estimates it would cost $65 million to fix the backlog and rewire the buildings, a price tag that doesn't include redecoration costs. Aides believe Her Majesty is being squeezed out by the cost of the London Olympics. "We were unsuccessful in securing more money from the government," Reid says. "It was a major disappointment. That money was badly needed."
