I got a big bottle of whiskey from my uncle; not a cheap supermarket blend either, a Laphraoig single malt!
My borther gave me a book of cowboy stories that includes Brokeback Mountain; dunno what he's trying to say!:confused:
My daughter gave me a DVD called The Night They Saved Christmas which looks just up my street. It's a B-movie about how Santa's kingdom is threatened by an oil company which is drillling nearby, so the characters have to learn that spirituality is more important than material wealth etc. Some people might find that a bit corny, but I love stories like that.

Hi HC
I got Finnegan's Wake and Ulysses in my stocking too and a dvd called The Lost Room and lots of other stuff so I am well pleased.
If you have not read Michale Cremo's book Devolution it really is a fantastic read I am now halfway through it and guess what Alfred Wallace the co author of Evolution spent many years researching the Paranormal he even wrote a book on the subject. Many famous scientists were all caught up in experiments to prove there is a Spiritual dimension to life. Yet if you listen to the sceptics all of that never ever happened LOL
It appears all the 'sales' start today -- the news are reporting a busy period. Just seen people fighting outside shops to get in on the News, bloody 'ell.... a crazy manipulation of the consumer....
I suspect the Shopping Centres will be a parady of the classic Romero film 'Dawn of the Dead'!! today ....although after seeing the scrapping outside Next, the Zombies will be full of Caffeine!!!
Just off to get my coat to join the throng;)
I WANT,WANT,WANT!! I NEED,NEED NEED!!!
(((Think today is a good day to stay at home and chill))) :D

I got an electric shaver for one. It was made in China and it didn't work. I took it back.
I had a thought to get a geiger-counter and walk through a Wal-Mart just to see if there is any Depleted Uranium being used in any items.
Why would they do that?... I don't know...
I can't afford a geiger-counter. Anyone have one?
If you are reading this and you have one, could you please go make a quick search for alpha particles in your local Wal-Mart?
Good. Thanks.

They're liars and fools! :mad::rolleyes:
I've read some of Forbidden Archaeology and it was great, so I'll be very interested to get round to Cremo's new book. I've hard him on the radio and he sounds brilliant! I'm not surprised that many "respectable" scientists have dabbled with the paranormal, and then turned away from it to protect their careers.:rolleyes:

I know what you mean. It's nice to be able to pick up some cheap shit, but when it becomes an obsession then it's going to far. Seeing crowds of people sleeping overnight in tents on the pavement outside Woolworths is pathological if you ask me! They already looks like the zombies in that movie!
