hey, i forget i know the restraunt down the road from me is but what about normal pubs are they genrally open on xmas day / evening/ night.
I cant remember last year (which could mean i was too drunk, so maybe they are open!!)

they usualy are. xmas is the best day to go out, since all the "normal" people are at home, and the party "elite" roams the streets. at least here in sweden...;)

I'm not into pubs or drinking these days but when I used to be, the pubs were open on Xmas DAY but not at night.
Some are, Think it used to by Sunday hours but not sure with the licensing changes, some only open morning or evening depending on the landlord.

Landlord's choice, but usual open times would be 2-3 hours at lunchtime, and 3-4 hours in the evening. Just ask around when you are out - Most drinkers will know where to get the last (last) orders. Don't leave it too late, because you'll most likely miss the best lock-in:)
