I just read the article about remote listening through cell phones. That gives me the shivers...I don't even know how to respond to it...As far as I can see it will only be a matter of time until everyones conversations are monitored all of the time if they are within the reach of the microphone of a cellphone. Voice recognition software on supercomputers will flag anything suspect by analysing every single conversation spoke...At least that is the way I would take it if I was in a position of power and control over the industry. This is getting down right disgusting...

That's just because IE sucks.

Try Firefox or Opera. Both are superior and more stable.

I can't read it all right now. It's pretty scary what people can do. I don't see any privacy advocates mentioned in the article.

On television and movies, they always show organized crime types always using disposable cell phones. :)

I do remember in the mid-nineties owning a radio frequency scanner (bought mine at Radio Shack) that would pick up police and citizen band radio chatter. It would also pick up peoples cordless phone conversations! with amazing clarity

I remember hearing about this a while ago... was very mind opening to consider it as a possibility.

I've since realized that I am not at all a threat to 'the system' and even if they were listening to me 24/7... I care not.

Let them watch, let them pry. Big Brother only has power in this dimension :) It's going bye-bye and they are doing all they can to hold onto us before we leave. That's what all this surveillance and mass control is about.
