A friend at college told me his dad is a mason!!!

I have been doing a course for nearly two years now and since i started i have been talking about the whole hidden agenda etc.

The boy in my class told me yesterday that he has been to a masonic lodge, dressed up smart, had a meal, listened to bad jokes etc.

He seemed really uneasy to tell me, i had mention masons many times over the past year or so and not had a good word to say about them so i understand why he was so hesitant to tell me.

His dad owns a company so that's probably why he is a member. He told me about the formal but strange atmosphere, and about charity funding etc.

But he has learned quite alot from what i have said to any student in my class that will listen..

What degree is he in the masons? Most masons are completely unaware of the higher degrees & just partake in the initiation rituals without any idea behind the symbology, which is why many people think it's nuts to suggest that freemasonry was a tool for the spreading of evil.

A good opportunity for getting some interesting info there though! A friend of mine was invited for a dinner at a local freemason gathering (where they allowed women to visit for this casual night) & she said it was just locals with an air of innocent secrecy sharing a normal night. Most of 'em don't have a clue... they just feel 'special' for being chosen.

Some may join as a way of getting on in business. Alot of people don't even know what the masons are. Many who have heard or know of masons believe the official version and either laugh or disbelieve the existence of higher levels like the illuminati levels 33 degree etc.

You only have to look at the USA for an example almost all of the presidents have been masons, most of the head police people too, the list goes on masons are in all aspects of society.

My grandfather was a master mason. For some reason he vowed never to go back to his lodge and we (his family) have no idea why.

I wonder just what caused this, but he never spoke of it, he also had a fall out with the church.

Makes me wonder if he gained some knowledge that he didn't agree with, but I can only speculate, as he died about 20 years ago.

His funeral was a big event and there were many many people attending, most of whom my family didn't even know!.

Rather strange don't you think?.

If you watch the Laurel and Hardy film Sons of the desert you'll get a good idea of the level of some masons. Its the same structure that seems to be ensnaring some of the contributors here.Join some "higher" community, then imagine some "spiritual experience",maybe the number 11.Then pronounce you are a club of the "illuminated"(hilarious by the way,as if an illuminated one would even think that let alone call themselves that),and wait for the wishful thinking of weak minded people to lead to you because they want to be part of the "special people".If you think you are special,or illuminated or going to be fine when 2012 happens because you read of some date in a book or website:you haven't learnt a thing. What did Gurdjeff say?You weren't born complete, you have to develop yourself, and that my friends is not the way to do it.

Laurel and hardy I love them don't get what you mean about the film and freemasons:confused: Agree about 2012 there is no proof anything is going to happen on that date as far as I can see. Theres going to be alot of dissapointed people on that date if the status Quo remians and nothing changes.

Yeah but around 2011 some "new knowledge" will come about and a new date will be set 2030?

Call my cynical but the only way things will change is when we say ENOUGH

We have the return of jesus and the antichrist they must of taken a wrong turn at Alberqurqie like Bugs Bunny! Seems fictional same as a Bugs Bunny Cartoon to distract people from reality while those in power are busy making other plans behind the scenes.

I had an uncle who was a mason. On his grave there is a masonic symbol the compass etc so my dad says. I haven't seen the grave may do one day.

Having read the Biggest secret and most of Icke's books I decided when my uncle was alive I asked him this question. "Do masons believe in the power of magick rituals?" His reply was "Believe in yourself"

As far as my dad is concerned my uncle was just a mason and believes in the offical 3 levels, when i talk to my dad about illuminati levels he asks "where is the proof?"
