I noticed this at about 10 this morning when I thought it was about 11, I didn't think anything of it as it often happens to me.
What is different today is:
Everyone in my office has been complaining that the day is dragging and time seems to be going slowly. Over 12 different people have said it.
This is normally the case when you are not busy and bored, but we are all busy today and I have never seen so many people saying the same thing at the same time.
Is anyone else expeirencing this today? Is the Matrix slowing down?
Sorry if you are not experiencing this and think i am mad but I thought why not ask everyone here, seeing as the whole office has been saying it all day.

I have been experiencing the opposite for a while up until today.
I don't let the slowing down or speeding up normally bother me, but it's the fact that my whole office have been saying it all day.
Strange.

It feels to me as if time is speeding up. People seem to regularly tell me the same thing, in which case Ill often tell them of the theory that time is speeding up.
Today I sat and watched the seconds hand on the clock for 1 minute and I am convinced that I have a recollection of each second being slower in the past. The second hand literally looks as if it is moving quicker these days.

Sorry I haven't got the references to hand but there is a school of thought that believes that as we approach the eschaton/omega point/2012 time is accelerating, so that what we are lead to believe is 24 hours is actually say 17 hours, and as we approach that year (end of the Mayan calendar) time will continue to accelerate until we enter The Eternal Now.
Me, I'm not so sure about that. But maybe the Slow Time People are just bored?

I've become increasingly alarmed at how fast time is going by, there's just not enough hours in a day these days!.

Sorry I'm just picking on you, nothing personal.
See how it feels.
Time speeding up may be relative as you say, but so is 'waking up'. We don't need to do anything you tell us, we all do it in our own time and in our own way.
Relax. :)

We can do/think/believe as we please, in the end it really doesn't matter.
Just be positive no matter what, that is the key to happiness.
Happiness is what makes life worthwhile.
What else is there?.

This may be why you are so full of unanswerable questions, balance is balance, there is nothing else 'at the same time'.
Once you become balanced there are no extremes.
If you push to towards the extremities then you become unbalanced.

Anyway, I'm off to bed. I look forward to speaking to you again.
Good night. :)

Is time slowing down or speeding up?
Personally I feel time is only a matter of your perception for e.g. when we have little to do time seems to drag out, but if we have a lot to do then time seems to speed up all in accordance to our perception.
Time is a manmade concept, we created time I believe in an effort to try to control it in some way or to rationalise it.
I do believe in our technological age that time has sped up in a sense as we can communicate instantly now (internet, email telephone) as opposed to before we would have to write a letter to someone we would like to communicate with then get it taken to that person by ship which could take many months or years to arrive if at all.
I believe the illuminati, through the power of money have robbed us of time in essence.
People in this day and age are overworked and very time poor, no-one really has the TIME to stop and smell the roses, we are all in this mindset that we have to go out and work a 40+ hr week to afford our lifestyles.
This materialistic view is also turning us away from our spirituality and original divine purpose.
Women now are working more than ever, and pushing their kids into childcare younger and younger so as to help get ahead financially, or not having children at all and focusing only on a career.
I am personally concerned with that as to what is happening to our kids and the family unit because of being so time poor, i.e. less time to have or enjoy children and being there stressfree to have our children enjoy us.
Children are also aging faster in that there is a tendency to get into drugs, sex and adulthood a lot sooner than in the past.
Time has sped up in regards to the past/history, but again this is just my perception :)
(just putting my thoughts forward, please feel free to agree or disagree ;) )

Is time slowing down or speeding up?
The answer is both! It is slowing and also increasing, it's the time dimension that needs clarifying.
..anyone stuck in the (matrix) will find time dragging, if you are "waking up" time may seem to go fast. Whenever someone goes through any type of change, adaption needs to apply.
