Ho Ho Ho How does it make you feel?
Depressed?
Or do you get a cozy warm feeling just humming along to those songs?
If you do, I hate you too...
Holidays and festivities were always meant to bring people together.....in the more traditional societies you can still see this....people celebrate together.
Nowadays even christmas has become a means of division.......
Why?
Christmas divides those that can afford a few weeks on a foreign destination from those that are forced to stay at home and endure the reruns.

Christmas can be a burden if it is too BIG. I will have a minimal Christmas this year. That will be nice! :)

Good and bad. Nice to see family and old friends if you're lucky. I'll be alone Christmas day same as last year. The loneliness is worse at Xmas. And I'm skint same as last year, doesn't help.

I feel and percieve this every year - so I'm gonna retreat a bit, spend some time in nature and contemplation... Expect it and not be suprized by the whacko mood swings around me in other people (and maybe myself too) - But if you have good people to enjoy it with, that can be pretty nice, I guess it depends on wher yr at - Time off is always good - there is always a positive and negative. I hate cristmass, I don't buy presents for anyone, they can go and get fucked.
People don't seem to understand the logistics of it, do they? Why buy a present for someone else and/because have presents bought for you which is all guess work, when you can spend the same amount of money on things that you actually want? Unless you have a lot of rich relatives that are kind, then the logistics work out.

You know what is most disturbing, well for me anyway. Most of the presents people are buying / receiving are products made with derivatives from oil.

Can you imagine the vibrations these presents have... conditions, greed etc. Lets say you get an ipod, these vibrations would be attached to it as was the reason for them giving you the present.
