What do folks think is behind the death of Pope John Paul I? There are several theories put about however, I think his death may have been more symbolic given the numbers involved. That is, he died after 33 days in office and also he was one of 3 Popes elected within the same year.

He also died just two years before the P2 scandal broke out which warrents suspicion on its own!

One has to read the book they don't want you to read,
IN GOD'S NAME by DAVID A. YALLOP, try find it somehow.
John Paul I, wanted the Maffia out of the Vatican, and not handle their
Finances, as it is being done until today. MARCINSKUS, in charged of it all, who died recently
in February 2007.
So as it has always been done by the Catholic Church, another generation 200 or 300 years later will know the truth, when all these people are dead and buried.
That is why the Vatican cannot have an Italian Pope. After the death of John Paul I
Italian; was elected John Paul II, a Polack Pope. When John Paul II died of natural death,
a GERMAN Pope was elected.
AN Italian Pope will be elected, if all these people of the Maffia are dead. And knowing the truth then, will be too late. We will have to search for ourselves.
So read this book, the Vatican themselves asked this author to invistagate, and write it, and do a follow up on it.
So the reason an Italian Pope cannot be elected, is because 50% are agaisnt what happened, and the other 50% were in the conspiracy. So if an italian Pope is elected , the truth would be known now.
It seems the enxt POPE after this one would ALSO BE A FOREIGNER, not an Italian one.
No death is "symbolic". The men that elected John Paul I ,realized they had made a mistake, because he was very young, not old like all the other Popes. He would answer his own phone, write his own speeches,
make his own decisions, would see what personnel to change or not
inside the Vatican. THEY COULD NOT HANDLE HIM , like they had done with the old aged Popes, that needed all types of help, so it was finally , they who made the decisons, and the Maffia, Banco Ambrosiano , theywould take care of the finances, and the Pope would read a RELIGIOUS SPEECH. As long a he did that ,everything was fine ,they would take care of the finances.....
John Paul I tried TO REALLY BE INCHARGED, and they could not allow that, they are the ones in charge of everything, the Pope is a Pawn in the game of power in the Vatican. once the Maffia gets into a bite of things, it never lets go.
I am sure there must be symbols as usual in numbers and things. They always live symbols meaning "WE WERE HERE"
But this is basically why they did it.

St. Malachy's prophecies sound interesting. Will look into that, sounds very interesting
Do read IN GOD'S NAME by DAVID A. YALLOP, there are all the facts, updated,
and witnessess of the vatican that gave the author information, who want this truth to be known.
Sometimes they say the book is out of print, etc. do try to find it, it is worth your reading.
It also has photos of the Maffia members, John Paul II making Marcinskus from Bishop to archbishop , others who were killed and were said to have committed "suicide".
And how
John Paul II did not have the guts to answer this book, because he knew the Maffia would murder him also, JOhn Paul II apologized for many things, but left this for another Pope to do. The book has been updated as years go by.
Some of this can be seen in the 3rd part of the movie THE GODFATHER,
but the book is more factual.

poor smiling pope Albino Luciani, he was given "the soup" as they say here in the Med.
he was going to reform the way the vatican power structure was governed, and also in distributing some of the immense wealth between the poor...he basically didn't want to be pope in the way they wanted him to be, as in follow their lead and don't make problems...the masonic cardinals etc didn't like that so he had to be taken care of.
Icke talks about his story in detail in his new book quoting from the very book mentioned above, In God's Name.
Sad that people in Ireland, Irish Catholics on the whole have no idea the reality behind these popes. Oh, pope john paul 1 just suddenly died of a heart attack after only 33 days...the infamous 33 yet again. That tells you you can be sure that it was the mason hierarchy who did it.
and they have no idea of the background of john paul II either, or of benedict. omg it maddens me!
You know what, i had never even heard of this pope really until i was awakened 2 years ago, no one ever talked about him or just said, oh he died suddenly and the sheeple just accept it.
pope john I was a rebel in disguise. and therefore didn't last long. and of course in the vatican there are no autopsies etc performed and the body is embalmed quick sharpish so no one is ever the wiser if someone is murdered, tracks are easily covered by selling the usual fairy story to the people.
i had a good link before, i'll see if i can find it for you.

it actually says here that the pope was in really good health, and had actually been given a clean bill of health just 3 weeks before he died at a medical.

His Death
His death is surrounded in great controversy. On the eve of September 28, 1978 he apparently died form a heart attack while reading in bed. His means of death has be greatly disputed and some including David Yallop in his book "In God's Name" (1984) allege that Pope John Paul was poisoned in order to keep him from discovering the truth about Vatican financial misdeeds. The conspiracy theory revolves around some supposed Vatican officials who feared that if Pope John Paul had lived he would have uncovered their financial misconduct within Vatican affairs.
These same Vatican Officials supposedly then decided that Pope John Paul must be eliminated in order to protect them form prosecution. The officials then secured and used a slow acting poison that when used would cause a person to appear to have died from a heart attack. The poison was the administered to Pope John Paul over the span of a couple of days until he succumbed on September 28, 1978. To this date, none of these charges or allegations has ever led to an arrest and none have ever been proven.
Pope John Paul's reign was short and who knows what would have happened had he lived. The next "Pope John Paul II" paid tribute to him by taking on the name of his predecessor.

The P-2's Secret Lodge and Strange Rituals
http://theunjustmedia.com/0bbbb40.jpg
The P-2's political activities and murders make horrific reading, but its organizational structure and ritualistic practices are equally so. This far-from-ordinary lodge had been building in great secrecy and every member was required to maintain this secrecy when coming or going. In his book St. Peter's Banker, Italian journalist Luigi Difonzo explains the P2, based on former members' confessions, with its activities of money laundering and links to the Mafia. About the lodge's location, he has the following to say:
In interviews two former members have described the oaths they took. They were taken to a compound, a Villa hidden in the Apennines in the region of Tuscany. A 12-foot wall seals the neatly manicured grounds from view. In the centre of the main courtyard stands a fountain shaped like a tree trunk. The cobra-like sculpture, with its inflated hood, watches over the compound in a protective posture, as if ready to strike. The cobra's head is twice the size of a human skull. It has a single eye, which is blue during daylight and red after nightfall, for inside the cobra's hood and behind its eye there is a closed-circuit camera that follows a visitor, invited or unwelcome, as the fountain rotates in the direction the intruder moves. The fountain-camera is controlled from a room within the villa where eight monitors, each with five stations, cover eight guest rooms, patio, pool, dining room, sitting room, and party room. Approximately ten cameras, including the one inside the cobra, have infrared lenses. All of the exterior cameras are camouflaged by the landscaping. The Villa's interior is magnificent. Every room has marble floors and is furnished with antiques. Observing the high ceilings, the finely crafted gold-leaf moldings, the portraits of Mussolini, Hitler, and Peron, the visitor experiences a feeling, a sort of living, breathing odor of danger and power that penetrates the soul and cell by cell contaminates the mind with fear. The year is 1964.64

The evidence the Pope had acquired indicated that within the Vatican City State there were over 100 Masons, ranging from Cardinals to priests. This despite the fact that Canon Law stated that to be a Freemason ensured automatic ex-communication. Luciani was further preoccupied with an illegal masonic lodge which had penetrated far beyond Italy in its search for wealth and power. It called itself P2. The fact that it had penetrated the Vatican walls and formed links with priests, bishops and even Cardinals made P2 anathema to Albino Luciani.
I read this book years back didnt know it had been updated would be good to get a newer version .This pope as has been said here was trying to reform the system , apparently a quiet man whodidnt want high office just to serve .He came from a large poor family and because of the poverty he saw he wanted to make reforms in the contraception laws amongst others i recal reading .He believed the churches job was to administer the spiritual needs of the people and not meddle in high finance .The whole Roberto Calvi banking scandel can be traced back to mafia vatican dealings , he was the banker who was found hanging under a bridge in london .So it is a pity tthis pope was disposed of although he would never be allowed to make the changes he intended by certain factions , it would of been interesting to see if he made some progress had he lived
change has to come from within after all .So maybe there are good people out there in positions of power who are trying to make a difference :D

He was the first pope born from working-class parents.
He was also unusual in that he did not hold any high-ranking office in the Vatican government, something common for many of his predecessors.
Despite being a critic of communism and socialism, he nevertheless believed that, to one degree or another, wealth should be redistributed and great disparities of wealth discouraged; on a practical level, this meant advocating that richer churches help out poorer churches financially. He eschewed lavishness and in fact refused to be coronated like a traditional sovereign - instead, he only allowed himself to be to be invested with a simple palladium, worn around the neck as a symbol of the archbishop's pastoral duties, and a miter.

It wasn't the mafia who killed the Pope. It was the P2 lodge. The mafia had nothing to do with the death of John Paul I or Roberto Calvi. Blackfriars Bridge and the way the body was hung were Masonic symbols. ...Another big number for the Mason's is 33. As this is the highest degree in Masonry ...“On September 28, 1978, he [Pope John Paul I] had been pope for 33 days. ...
a number of high ranking vatican officials are said to be masons despite the catholic faith not allowing this so it is all conected all just different branches of the same tree . this isnt something im greatly into so i leave that to those more in the know:D

Definitely you should read Yallop's book if you're into this stuff. He was murdered, absolutely. He was aware of many clergymen within the Vatican who were also members of P2. Albino Luciani seemed like a genuine guy, since then you've had two placeman popes, fully aware of the agenda of the Catholic Church/Jesuit Order/P2 in my opinion.
David Yallop's newer book I have, but haven't got through yet, looks interesting as well:
