Seriously, perhaps they are being scapegoated by the power elite? Don't forget that Adam Weisshupt and his Illuminati group were subject to severe prosecution as his teachings wen't against the church:

they probably stole the name.the way masons and the church stole symbols.they infiltrate and take over,like in buisness and such like.

But Adam Weishaupt's Bavarian Illuminati are not THE Illuminati. They are a small secret society with the aim of providing learned men an organization in the Catholic theocracy of 18rth Century Bavaria. They're no different to the huge array of mystery schools that rose up to oppose the destruction of knowlege the Church. They are not to be confused with the Illuminati that David talks about.

The real Illluminti probably don't call themselves that. I've heard that they call themselves "The Olympians" or the "Incunabula".

IMO the names of those who have the most impact in our world are apparent for all to see, and hardly any latin in sight.

Illuminati not that bad, no... they're really quite sweet... try watching Blood Diamond for a no brainer, or tracing the lineage of all the presidents, the house of Windsor, Hitler.... Hmmmmmm.... What about reading up on Skull and Bones or Bohemian Grove, if yr really short on time just watch Rosemary's Baby for a general idea LOL
