what say you all about unicorns.

i have a copy of a book by robert vavra called "unicorns I have known".
contains quite a bit of written info about unicorns. i have yet to get to that part of my book pile.

but its filled with photo's of unicorns. they seem rather difficult to fake, and i don't believe they are photoshopped or manipulated.

Thats just mean :( But seriously how do you get the horn off???

When I was in infant school I had a friend who believed he was a dragon. He used to hiss at the teachers sometimes AND realy freak 'em out!

Lol, two posts in and no input so far regarding peoples view on unicorns :D
My post won't be any more help on this situation I fear :o

the DI forums are filled with people who love all things unicorn/horse related, I dont think any of those people have seen this thread unfortunately.

I beleive they exist/existed. Think of horned animals; antelope, goats etc. They are of a similar physiology (sp?): four hooved legs, flatbacked, vegetarian. You know what i'm getting at right!? If these animals can have horns or antelors. It's not hard to imagine a species of horse evolving with a horn of some sort for defence/rivallry/mating rituals. Plus what defence does a wild horse have? Speed to escape.Strong hind legs. But what if attacked head on? None. So a horn is practical, surely.

With regards to magical gifts, I think that just came from the same place as stories of other animals having powers i.e. tribal peoples in tune with nature telling stories of bears or eagles etc. To what degree are these magical powers true? Same for all animals, the unicorn stories just stick more in the mind.

Unicorns have a pure heart and have ties to spirituality. They are stuck in the same dimension as elfs, fairys, etc.

Unicorns used to be physically present on Earth, just like elves for example,
and many other magical beings. But they were hunted into extinction after
the magic age ended in 700BC.. I suppose some survived into the middle
ages, just like some of the dragons, but I'm not sure of that.

Unicorns are the spiritual animal of Scotland, notice how on the seal with the Lion (England) and the Unicorn, the Unicorn is chained to the lion to show dominion over Scotland by England.
The Lion is not the original spiritual animal of England.

magic age ended in 700BC

Please, whether this is genuine or not (never heard of it before), elaborate. :D

Unicorns are completely pure of heart, it is said that if anyone touches a unicorn who isn't pure of heart they doom the unicorn. I think they are still about today, but because of how humanity treated them they were forced to return to their own dimension and now only show themselves if someone truly needs to see them, giving hope and enlightenment. I've always been fascinated by these beautiful creatures, and there are so many different twists in the folklore. The horn possesses magical powers which is why they were hunted, but who's to say that it isn't just magical for the beast itself? Faeries are never far from them either.

They also say the Narwhal inspired tales of the unicorn. These creatures almost seem like they belong in another time and place and not on this earth!

i've experienced unicorns in the astral, as both guides and guardians.

Would love to see those photo's :D

Maybe they are still present, and we can not see them because they are slightly out of our field of vision and in a slightly higher vibration :D

I think our minds have become so closed off compared to hundreds of years ago that there is so much magic in the world that we just don't let ourselves see because we don't believe. Whereas children are more open to them, they haven't yet let their experiences make them cynical and narrow minded! I love to believe that there is more out there than we see!
