Hi, this isn't really a health problem it's just something I think is weird and am wondering if anyone knows anything about it.
My next door neighbours always slam their doors and when it happens and I'm facing away from their house, my ears twitch. If I'm at an angle then either just the left or right will, but if I'm straight on both do.
Does everyone have this and do we know why it happens? It's not like we have big rabbit/dog ears to turn around.

Mine do that to. and I can wiggle mine. I reckon I'm a werewolf as my dog does it too!

Sorry, this didn't show up in my CP so I didn't realise you'd replied! I can't consciously move mine but if there's a noise they try to twitch and move. Maybe we used to have bigger ears or something?

Prehensile ears maybe? Its the same as flairing your nostrils (I can do that to!) to smell better, your ears 'prick up' like they were intended to so you can focus on noise sources etc.

I can wiggle both of my ears independently, make one go down and other up at same time, pull them back, or whatever. I've never inquired into whether or not this is an uncommon 'talent', haha. I can actually remember the first time I did it, I was a small child, and saw a cartoon bunny moving its ears on TV, so I did it in imitation without even trying really, i did it easily, and ran to my mom and lifted my hair and said "look, I can wiggle my ears", and she pretended she was impressed, lol.
