This was broadcast on UK tv a little while ago. It's about a boy in Scotland that has memories of an apparent past life. It's fascinating viewing:cool:

I've seen this before...
I think that this avenue of investigation is ne of the best to follow regarding the idea of reincarnation. It's probably one of those issues which many scientists will automatically avoid for fear of their reputation/gran money or because they already have assumptions and beliefs (unscientific as that may be to have assumptions).
There are many stories along these lines of children having detailed accounts but it seems as they get older (and have been told it's all make-believe ), they forget about it.
I was reading something recently regarding the Inuit in the north of Canada having listened to their children regarding this idea.
Weird, the only reason I looked was because there was a guy atmy School who had memories of a past life in Scotland, I thought he was going to appear.
If I remember rightly his name in the past was Rab and he could describe a this Scottish village despite never having been there (this was before google earth etc). His family were devout Catholics as well so this must of raised a few questions for them.

I have always found this subject very interesting. It's funny how people immediately jump to the conclusion of 'past lives' though. There could be equally plausible explanations. Maybe our memories remain after we are long dead and are accessible to others? Fascinating.
