Hard to say that 1 puff of smoke on the corner was from the activation of charges....but who knows
It appears to be happening in at least two corners, and I would speculate that's the hat truss (the structure that ties the inner core to the outer columns at the top) being destroyed.
As the WTC has often been described as deriving its strength from its 'tube within a tube' design, that could be the two 'tubes' being separated.
