Paranoia can be very self-destructive. On the other hand, it's probably wise to not be too non-paranoid. Basically, there is only need for being paranoid if other people or organizations think that I am: (1) an obstacle, or (2) someone to get something from. Otherwise, I'm not important enough for someone to spend effort on.

On this forum there are probably many free-thinking people, and, since obviously, at the moment there is a LOT of paranoia in society on all levels - and it has not gotten less after the 9/11 attack - it means that a forum like this is probably monitored by some (No) Snooping Agency; at least to some minor extent. :D

So what level of paranoia should one adopt? Is it wise to be a bit careful about what to write on a forum like this, or is that to be a bit too chicken?

Perhaps a way of talking, without the Guards understanding us

IE:

I have tried to look in to my own paranoia, and much of it goes away when becoming more aware of the rational causes. The deeper level of paranoia that probably comes from subconscious programs is a bit more tricky to deal with though in my experience.

Better to be aware of all possibillities, than to blindly walk into something your (gut instincts) or rational mind warned you about which can be mistaken for paranoier.

True. From David Icke's descriptions I have learned to become less stuck and see more possibilities.

And this about gut instincts vs rational mind made me think of an idea: maybe we have to learn how to connect gut instincts with rational thinking so that they become one whole unit acting together instead of seeing them as separate systems, as most people including myself tend to do today.

Yes, very similar. And the subconscious programs are inherited biological stuff and downloaded programs from society, especially as children we download huge amounts of information, and the problem is that the vast majority of these programs are stored in the subconscious and not visible to our conscious awareness.
