I was watching Davids video breaking the something or other and he tells of a story in which at a party a father is put under and told he can't see his daughter.

He's woken and asked is he see's her. He looks around the room and say's no even though she's right in front of him. The hypnotist is standing behind the daughter and asks him to read an inscription on his watch which is behind the daughter as well.

Well according to David he bends over and reads the inscription through his daughters belly.

Parlor trick or reality ???

I would like to believe this as it would be proof, but to me it's just a entertaining story.

This brings us back to the question - Is reality, a manifestation of the mind?

If the reality you see is generated by the mind, and hypnosis acts as a tool to go into the mind covertly and subvert some programs then it is possible if thats the line of thinking you take.

Weird things like reprogramming to change your eye colour.

One thing I have noticed though is, reality or the matrix which is a mirror image of the mind, has failsafe protections. You would have to be pretty good to go into the mind and reprogam.

Have you seen the movie Inception. The inception of a thought, the inception of a program into ones mind to change your reality. Notice how in the dreams, the subconscious mind triggers the fail safe and tries to destroy the invading program?

by the way i´m a hypnotist and the phenomena of positive and negative hallucinations is very common.

there are so many definitions about what hypnosis really is.... many of them describe what can you do with hypnosis (change beliefs, behaviors etc), but not what it really is... to me most of the definitions fail to explain what it really is... they only explain what that person (describing it) believes it is.
(to me) hypnosis is just a way to take aperson in to an altered state of conciousness... ( like meditation or shamanistic trances)... now... what you do with it may vary acording to your values or goals... it coud be personal enhacement... therapeutic change... TV shows (wich i dont like)... channeling of information etc.
About if you can read through solid objects... yes you can, i have done, experienced and witnessed these phenomena:
read/see through objects... people not seeing whats "really" infront of them, people seeing whats not "really" there... people recieving information from a dead relative info that they didnt know and really surprised them... i´ve done regresion in to childhood in wich a person is able to read a book from his father arms (even though they didnt knew how to read at that age).

and yes that information was later prove to be accurate... and many oother stuff, hypnosis and NLP wich i also teach is not something that you can grab from conscious understanding is about experience...

in a trance ( at least to me) you connect with your inner wisdom ( or whatever name you want to give it) and the posibilities are far beyond what we may think they are.

theres a lot more than what we currently know... knowledge advances very very fast... its fun to think how much of the knowledge that is now accepted as the truth... will be dismissed tomorrow as when human use to believe the earth was flat.
