I just caught the new trailer for I Am Legend tonight while mindlessly flipping through the television. Before, the trailers just show a lone survivor of an apocalypse trying to fight off what appear to be zombies.
Now the new trailer has text between the scenes saying something to the effect of "2012....one man remains."
I think this is awfully peculiar, especially considering the film comes out in December. Is Hollywood testing out the public reaction of an apocalyptic scenario in 2012?
By the way, the original I Am Legend book/story has nothing to do with 2012.
If anyone can find the new trailer and post it up here, please do. I personally can't find it.

I did some thinking about this, and I think that "they" (as we approach 2012) are going to keep putting out this kind of stuff in an attempt to get the public afraid and fearful of 2012. They know what 2012 means for them, and they don't want it to happen, and will do anything to keep us in our 3-dimensional, fear-driven minds.
Don't buy into, people. :)
I gotta play devil's advocate here. Maybe they picked 2012 because they know what people think of it already. I mean, the History Channel has shit on non-stop about the end of the world and they always end up talking about the Mayan prophecies. 2012 isn't this hidden, secret date that people might think it is.

Its a remake of 'The Omega man' isn't it? One of the few films that scared me as a kid that was. My littler brother had to be taken out the cimema:)
