Read this and tell me what your analysis would be. These figures are real numbers. 70% are against the Iraq war. Think! This man has got the establishment well and truly by the balls. I can't think they will get out of this trap. Conclusion: Ron Paul is the next president.

Ron Paul has a message for the Republican base who continue to offer blinkered support for the endless occupation of Iraq - pick a candidate who has vowed to bring the troops home immediately or surrender the White House in 2008.

"Since 70 per cent of the American people want out of the war and they're tired of it - the Republicans better pick somebody who is opposed to the war or have a new foreign policy or they can't win," the Congressman told CNN's Wolf Blitzer yesterday.

"The sentiment is shifting, the people are sick and tired of the war, we can't even afford it, we can't even fight the war without borrowing the money from the Chinese - so it doesn't add up - it really doesn't matter whether I'm right or wrong, the war is going to end because we're going to have such a political and financial havoc here....this is usually how empires end - by spending too much money maintaining their empires," he added.

The Congressman's warning is backed up by the polls. A recent Zogby survey found that a sizeable majority of Americans will not vote for a pro-war candidate. Zogby polling analyst Fritz Wenzel agrees that Ron Paul is the strongest contender out of the entire Republican field to go up against Hillary Clinton because of his lone anti-war stance.

In an earlier part of the interview, the Congressman elaborated on his response to Senator John McCain's feeble attempt to smear Paul as a Nazi appeaser during Wednesday night's debate.

"First off, Iraq is not Nazi Germany," a humored Paul commented.

"I thought it was Hitler that caused world war two, not the American people....it didn't make any sense - then he was awfully confused about isolationism versus non-intervention - there's a big difference," said the Congressman.

Paul said that non-interventionism meant not getting involved in other country's affairs and "not pretending that Iraq is Nazi Germany."

"Iraq had no army, no navy, and no weapons of mass destruction - it had nothing to do with 9/11 - so the comparison makes no sense," he concluded.

McCain's claim that U.S. troops want to stay in Iraq has no basis in reality.

Out of all the Republican candidates, Ron Paul has by received far the highest military donations, that is donations from members of the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force and Coast Guard. The Congressman has received double McCain's total and over eight times the amount garnered by Romney or Giuliani.

The troops support Ron Paul because Ron Paul advocates bringing the troops home.

Moreover, a recent Zogby poll found that the Congressman also has the highest support amongst military families, far ahead of Giuliani, McCain or any of the other Republican stooges who want to keep the troops in the meat grinder.

The next president..

Who the hell wants to defend a democracy that is built on the bones of other democracies? Until we have a way to establish a world-democracy, defending the "constitution" and all that rubbish is simply playing into it.

Think like a Venezuelan or a North Korean for a bit, will you?

Good luck Ron. I'll be staying up all night each of the primaries and caucuses to see if you get it!

The people don't want Billary, they want a GOP candidate they can trust, who wants to change things.

the thing is Bush was not voted in anyway.... so it does not matter what the public want... they will just cheat someone in like they cheated Bush in...

They can only cheat up to a point. For example if 100% voted for RP they ain't going to hide it no matter what they do. Martial Law is always a possibility of course. Plus there's organisation to watch all the voting centres. And a Class Action against all states using machines (can't remember the details).

Now if only someone would realise the potential over here.

I do believe he can win. Media is a problem but if he keeps going like he has so far, they won't have a choice.

I don't actually think there as any major cheating and if anything it was the other way around. You see the last elections Bush was going a bit wayward of the establishment's line. The wanted it to fall to the Democrats so they could do a Tony Blair on the American people. This trick goes something along the line of 'since you don't like our Republican candidate here is what we have for you to believe is the opposite and who will solve all of your problems'. Now that man was European bloodline and higher up in the Illuminati pecking order. So who knows but I suspect they would have a hard time spinning the Americans using voting machines. Once caught out they would never get into power again.

ahh i don't think Ron Paul can be that bad.

i don't imagine him fucking up as much as a George Bush or a Hilary Clinton.
he seems to be the best one of all candidates.

maybe he isn't a good guy (like us),
but someone's going to be elected anyway.
so it better be Ron Paul.

and because Ron Paul gets elected,
doesn't mean we need to sit on our ass and be passive (like most of us are probably doing already, including me :p )

after the elections, wether Ron Paul wins or not...
we should still be active and try to educate ourselves in order to educate other people,
so that it becomes harder for the elite to fool the masses.

and perhaps during the elections,
it should be the main focus of the "truthseekers" to promote Ron Paul...
the elections are almost over anyway.

*rossus to cosmos: let ron paul win please*

If he does win there will be very big changes. That will be such an exciting time to be around, especially in America.

Who actually wants a "president" anyway? Is everyone that anxious to be ruled/governed by others? The whole idea is disgusting to say the least. So long as a government (govern=control, restrain - ment=mind) is still in place there is no freedom PERIOD. We don't need Ron Paul or anyone else as "president" of government operations.

America isn't a democracy, it is a republic. It needs defending from becoming a democracy. A world democracy would simply mean those mindless, manipulated, brainwashed slaves, which make up the masses would have a higher and dominant representation over us that aren't manipulated, on a global scale.
Ron Paul has a neutral foreign policy anyway, so it's not an issue.

Going to be an interesting year ahead, backing psychopaths into a corner is going to get ugly. :o

Same as above. America is a republic not a parliamentry democracy, democracy, dictatorship or monarchy. It isn't a top down system. The power of each branch of government legislative, executive and judicial are kept in check by the others.
What would you suppose we replace a government with, anarchy? What would happen then? Simply the elite would use their weath to hire soldiers to dominate the masses, creating exactly what the American system was designed to limit: the absolute power of any individual or group.
The only reason it (the American system) appears fucked up is due to it losing its way, being under attack since day one.
It is the one system, if it gets back on track, that could potentially destroy the power of European royalty by inspiring Europeans to follow the same system. What more could any human being want than to see the Queen et al, robbed of their ill-gotten wealth and imprisoned for their endless list of criminal acts?
