Remember the YTS? We used to have a YTS trainee at my place. The boss was very impressed with him and decided from the start that he would give him a permanent job, but then why didn't he offere him one straight away? Because he wanted to get as much free work out of him as possible!
This one seems a lot better. The govt is actually improving people's abilities and motivation to get proper jobs where you earn a wage, but this could be the back door to another slave-labour scheme.
