How long ago was it killed. Rigamortis must have set in quickly. Did it die in that pose? How was it killed? I didn't see any hack wounds or bullet wounds or blunt trauma wounds. How is it being preserved? Are those its real eyes or glass replacements. Where was it found, what were the circumstances? Has the person who found it been interviewed? Has his neighbors been interviewed? Does he have financial issues? Attention issues? What kind of person is the presenter?

Has it been examined by scientists? Does it really need to be? No, it does not.

As a non-scientist, my layman's opinion is it's a screamin' fake. But it's a fun little thing to look at.

This is an odd synch for me (used to them now though). I just finished a few big posts on different naga type creatures in my 'Fantastical Creatures and Places' thread earlier yesterday here ..

http://www.davidicke.com/forum/showthread.php?t=152118

Maybe I am naive, but it looks so convincingly real. I am far from some archaeologist but I would suppose that the creature has been deceased for awhile upon filming it, like it has been on display.

The most convincing thing for me is the expression on its face, it looks as though it shed tears. Also, the flatness of the snake part of the body. I used to catch snakes and have them as pets. Every snake I have seen dead flattens exactly like that.

Charles Waterton’s Nondescript

http://www.wakefield.gov.uk/NR/rdonlyres/B72D1A38-2FAE-452F-B04B-D4AFE0DD76DD/0/Nondescript.jpg

Charles Waterton was a famous English eccentric and naturalist. In 1821, he returned to England from an expedition to Guiana, bringing with him hundreds of specimens of South American wildlife, carefully stuffed and preserved. His boat docked in Liverpool, and a customs inspectors named Mr. Lushington boarded. Lushington took one look at the exotic specimens that Waterton had piled up in crates and ordered that a hefty fee should be paid for their importation. Waterton protested. After all, the specimens were of greater scientific value than they were of commercial value. Nevertheless, Lushington would not bend. He insisted that Waterton pay the highest import tax possible.

Three years later Waterton travelled again to Guiana. Upon his return to England he bore with him this time the head of a fabulous specimen which he described as the 'Nondescript.' It looked very much like the head of a person, though the exposed face was surrounded by a thick coat of fur. Waterton claimed he had encountered and killed this man-like creature in the jungles of Guiana.

Charles Waterton
Waterton later wrote a book about his travels through Guiana, titled Wanderings in South America. In this book he included a dramatic description of how he had hunted down the Nondescript. Accompanying this description was an illustration of its head.

Generations of readers enjoyed Waterton's colorful book, but no one has ever again encountered a Nondescript in the wild. The actual taxidermically preserved specimen that Waterton brought home with him provides the strongest argument in favor of its existence. But naturalists who have examined the specimen have suggested that the face is molded out of the hind quarters of a howler monkey.

:D
Adding a touch of humor to this mystery, is the rumor that the Nondescript bears a startling resemblance to Mr. Lushington, the overzealous customs inspector who had caused him so much grief back in 1821. The suspicion is that Waterton, in his own peculiar way, was literally trying to 'make a monkey' out of the tax collector.

He abhorred scientific nomenclature, John James Audubon (whom he called a charlatan), Protestants, Hanoverians, Hanoverian Protestants, rats (the presence of which in England he blamed on the Hanoverian Protestants), and, late in life, Charles Darwin; he loved the natural world, birds, taxidermy, and practical jokes. -- Sally Shelton

Taxidermic caricature of Martin Luther
Charles Waterton (1782-1865), a passionate aristocratic Catholic in a Protestant-dominated society, who sported a short crewcut in a society of Victorian hirsute extravagance, had his home in Yorkshire made into a museum with such exhibits as "The English Reformation Zoologically Demonstrated", in which preserved reptiles were contorted into caricatures of famous Protestants.

Yes it does look similar to the fiji mermaid creations :D

At the Ripley's Believe it or Not Museum (saw it!)

An admitted fake:

http://i102.photobucket.com/albums/m96/matthetube/IMG_0690.jpg

Kind of looks similar to :

http://www.boingboing.net/swfeejee03df.jpg

Which looks similar to the video in the OP.

A very famous mermaid account was of two men who caught a mermaid creature about the size of a normal fish and kept it alive in a bath tub for a while. It had gelatinous seaweed type hair, very stringy and blonde colored, and it had tiny sharp teeth for eating fish.

The OP is obviously supposed to be a snake creature but it looks similar to the fiji mermaids.

Whats the best way to discredit lifeforms that people find that we know just from mythological books? Just pay a artist to recreate the real lifeforms that people found and than release it with enough attention. After this people all over the planet will think that thi one artist made all these creatures and put them on all beaches in many different countrys to make his jokes with people in all kind of countrys between 2009 and 1978.

I have books of the 70s and 80s were you also see such creatures and people say they are real like the mythological creatures who are in all countrys since thousands of years a source of the gods.

Actually the gods are reptilians and other interdimensional beings from other places than earth and they are 4th density but also they are able to transform into everything because they exist in our reality like we exist in a dream we have so these lifeforms can transform into everything and this explains why they look mythological and not like a evolution made them look, because they donīt are a product of the evolution of the nature as we know it.

Also these reptilians can create experimental lifeforms. Greek mythology is full of experimental lifeforms. Remember that gods are reptilians and than try to connect the mythology of the past with the cryptozoology of the future and you will see that our planet still is absolutly full with mythological creatures.

Government just needs to pay artists to produce official the creatures that people in reality found and all people will think that artists made these lifeforms so the conclusions will end up that these creatures are a fake and people loose their interest to explore such things, but people all over the planet still find a lot strange creatures and I also can tell you a true story:

One time I was with friends in the garden and we talked about something. Than suddenly a little goblin with a brown jacket and a huge brown bag bigger than him walked to us and passed us like he didnīt care that we were there talking. I said to Julia that this canīt be real and she jumped afraid to my side and told the other ones about this little "guy". He had a very long tail and a black hat on his head. He was about 20 inches long because of his very long tail and about 8 inches tall. We were 5 people and we all looked totally afraid to this little guy and he looked at us and said something like "Tzzz... playing people... like always" and we people just looked to each other with a non-believing face and than the one girl went to him and asked who and what he is but he suddenly started jumping (not running) about 10 meters away from us but we all were running after him to catch him but he jumped before our eyes into a tree and I mean directly into the wood on the ground.

He had a face like a very old human, but a very long tail like a lizard and his body looked like a mix of a human and a goblin. His arms and hands looked human and he had normal fingers like a human but his legs looked like the legs from something that doesnīt exist, maybe if you imagine a mix of a chicken and something else that doesnīt exist, a bit lizard like but with many long hair on it and of course he could speak german.
