has anyone seen this show it is so interesting
they have aroud 16 psychichs going through different tests and some of the results are amazing

anyyway one lady on it is a voodoo priestess and she can do amazing things
is voodoo a satanic thing because she seems to be more on the darker side
but then she does do a lot of charity work and helps solve murder cases
on her website it says she has been involved with vampires and been involved in satanic rituals
i would really like to get into using some of her skills but not to interested in being a devil worshipper

I'm going to be honest here.. yes there is a short cut to power through "the occult" but it will be at your own expense. You have been warned.

I don't recommend it at all. It will shrivel you.

Real power comes from hard work.. very hard work but is much more rewarding.

Learning the skills of mediumship and being psychic is a long and difficult journey. First one has to attune to ones intuition, to the point of being able to hear voices, get clear impressions etc. Thats often a fairly intangible personal journey, although spiritual techniques like meditation and shamanic use of psychedelic drugs can help one refine the spiritual sense (one needs to attain a trance state; ie switch the concious mind off, and access the deeper mind, where the connection between things is more blurred). Visualisation and also practice can help (try guessing what people are thinking, or what going to happen next). With practice and experience this can then be done at will.

Then youve gotta make sense of all the stuff thats going on in there. One needs to distiguish ego (the self) and desires from actual predictions and information. This requires a balancing of the intellect and intuition, an awareness of ones own desires and where possible an attitude of detachment. This also takes quite a bit of practice.

Vodoo is not satanism. (Nor is christianity buddhism!). Vodoo adherants beleive there is a great spiritual war between dark and light forces, and they essentially wage war against those dark forces. There are some dark aspects to their magick rituals though, for example they beleive in animal sacrifice. They also use alot of death symbolism too although IMO thats not evil in itself.

Magick and the occult are a spiritual path that i would highly recommend to anyone (though not vodoo, animal sacrific is wrong, all beings are sacred not just humans). Magick is highly revealing as to the nature of our reality (once studied for awhile), flexes and excercises the spiritual senses and is practically useful for healing and helping. Wicca is a good starting point, they have good books and web pages on the basic principles of magick. If your interested, hermeticism i find highly revealing (one good starter book is the kybalion)- but there are many different groups .

The "occult" as you call it is no short cut to anything. It is a long spiritual journey understanding the mystic arts. One generally does not obtain "power" from it either, there is a backlash against you if you perform black magick or anything that harms another or binds their will.

Black magicians try to protect themselves against this force, but it comes to them eventually anyway. My experience has taught me that magick is very useful in healing and assisting those you love, when ones intention is purest, the magick is strongest.

Just like with rest of the life.Those aliens IF they existed can be impressive too in the beginning but nothing says they wont bore you.Personally i think they they are already pointless , regardless they are real or not.

I dont believe in psychic powers and even if they were real they somehow werent enough.If anything was ever that.
