ALICE--One lady says she saw something very unusual in the sky last night near her home. The woman believes it was a UFO, so she called Three News to investigate it.

We have received several calls about UFO's ever since we aired a special report in February. This woman said she was a non- believer, but after last night's encounter, she's now a believer.

Here in the Rancho Allegre neighborhood in Alice located off of State Highway 281 and 44, an Alice resident said she saw something in the sky, while doing her laundry on Monday night. So she grabbed a camera phone and took a picture.

She said this is what came out. On the horizon, she saw this bright light hovering with what seemed to be a reflection below it. Seconds later, she said it disappeared totally.

The woman wants to remain anonymous, but believes it may have beem something other than just a bright light.

"It's possible it could be," said the woman. Off camera: could be? It could be a UFO. We don't know."

The woman said people who have spoken with her present two theories. Either it's a full-moon or an airplane flying over the area, but there was no full-moon Monday night.

"I don't think that's possible for either one of those," the woman said. "It's definitely something, I don't what it is myself."

When this woman went to work, she said it was the talk around the water cooler.

"Some are still not believers, though," the woman said. "Some think it's light, but they don't think it's a UFO."

This 3 News viewer said she's definitely curious over what she saw over the sky here in Rancho Allegre. She wants someone to investigate this sighting to see if it was, in fact, a UFO.

'Well, I would like someone to investigate it definitely because now I'm curious," said the woman. "I want to know."

So she plans to call one of the groups to find out if this was something out of this world.

Update: The Texas Sightings of 2008

The investigation into the anomalous UFO sightings in and around Stephenville, Texas are still in progress, according to Ken Cherry, Texas Director of MUFON. Although the UFO community at large is eagerly awaiting disclosure of the results of this important series of UFO sightings, there is still more work to do before a fair and balanced report can be submitted to the general public.

"I understand how frustrating it is waiting for the final report on Stephenville," Cherry stated. "This is the most significant case I will probably ever see."

The UFO sightings near the small town of Stephenville have received extensive press coverage worldwide, since the very onset of the reports. Cherry has remarked that the Associated Press' initial report on the case listed his home phone number, and his phone rang constantly for five weeks.

He gave over 100 radio and television interviews on the case, being careful not to give premature opinions on the case until all of the facts are in.

One of the main reasons that the investigative process is still ongoing is because the reports of sightings are still being received, and the investigators involved are still busy interviewing new witnesses, looking at drawings, and various photographs and videos.

Cherry also stated that although the core of the original sightings related to the days of January, 7 and 8, it was soon discovered that the wave of sightings actually began in December, 2007, and continued until the middle part of February of this year. The sightings also encompassed not only Erath county, but spanned a four county area surrounding Stephenville.

The investigative team has stated that the vast number of sightings could be categorized into two main groups:

1) Descriptions of "spheres," or "intense balls of light, as bright as an acetylene torch." These objects were seen often in formations, and at times, these lights would scatter, and move erratically in the sky.

2) Descriptions of one extremely large craft, sometimes described as "bigger than a WalMart," or "bigger than three football fields." These reports were far outnumbered by the reports of spheres.

Because the Stephenville case involved so many witnesses, MUFON arranged two separate meetings to interview all of them. The first was held on January 19, in the small town of Dublin. This meeting drew the attention of so many members of the press and media, that Cherry's time was spent dealing with them, while the other investigators were interviewing and taking witness statements.

Estimates of those in attendance ran as high as 600. During the first meeting, 50 statements were taken, with many other witnesses encouraged to post their reports online.

During a second meeting, held on February 23, seventeen more witnesses were interviewed. Reaching a final analysis on the case has also been stalled by the problems dealing with the large amount of photographic and video evidence, and their legalities. A number of witnesses have been approached and offered money for their evidence from third parties, which would move MUFON out of the information loop, and create an incomplete report. MUFON continues to negotiate with several individuals attempting to obtain rights to their evidence.

More than likely a number of the images are redundant, yet the possibility remains that there could be one or two very important ones not included in the report. This is common in well publicized UFO reports. Often, a production company will buy the exclusive rights to a film or photograph, and include it in a documentary report. This process, although perfectly legal, will keep the item from being made available for analysis by the UFO community at large.

This situation occurred during the O'Hare Airport case, with rumors of different pieces of evidence floating around the Internet, and hoaxed photographs being posted. Also, we reported, with good sources, that actor and UFO enthusiast Dan Aykroyd had purchased rights to video of the highly publicized Chicago sighting, but so far, we have not seen any evidence of this.

Rest assured that MUFON will use what is available to them to make the most complete report they are capable of, therefore satisfying the public's need for a final report on the UFO sightings over Texas. We are waiting, and will make a full report on MUFON's final analysis when it becomes available.

On April-05-2008, @ 9:21 am, I was under my garage facing northeast, when a bright unknown object was observed traveling south.

Object was traveling at a fast rate of speed. At first glance, the object appeared to be translucent, so I quickly grabbed my camcorder and began filming.

The unknown object went right overhead, out of view. So I moved to another location and began filming. The object had now changed direction: it was now traveling east. Then it takes off toward the south. This object was clearly no aircraft. I am sending you a still and the video clip for you to analyze. If you have any questions get back with me.

That was the very first thing that caught my attention was how far back those sightings had dated. There were a few things in that show that hadn't come out to the public yet. It was also the first time I had seen anyone triangulate a sighting using lasers...and I thought it was funny the balloon with the laser lights pointed on it ended up looking like a UFO :p

Argentina - UFO Not Photographed on Purpose ?

Posted-April 14, 2008-A group of friends spent the day at Quebrada del Condor. A day later, when they looked at one of the photos they'd taken on the computer monitor, they realized that a strange object was present in the sky. They claim that the photo, taken with a cellphone, is not a hoax. Gaston Damia and Patricio Pereyra are facing the hard task of convincing everyone that the photo is real, that it is not a product of trickery, that they have no intentions of profiting from it and were never aware of what appeared there until they noticed it on the computer screen. Yet there it was, out of focus and in the distance: an unidentified flying object (UFO).

The event occurred on April 6, 2008 at Quebrada del Condor in Tupungato, when a group of friends chose that location to spend the day. "We had wanted to go there for a long time, but just to see it. We never imagined this nor ever heard of anything like it," said Patricio, who despite having been the one who pressed the cellphone key to take the photo, is somewhat skeptical about the existence of flying saucers and alien civilizations. In any event, he is still at a loss to explain how the object got into the photo.

Gaston is more enthusiastic. He acknowledges that since he saw the photo, he has read as much ufological material as possible and has also received e-mails from people interested in hearing more of his experience. However, they told us that they didn't have an inkling until the saw the photo on their computer monitor. "I took several at that site, it was a sequence. And the fact is that we hadn't seen anything at all. The next day we got together to see the photos taken by a friend who went there with us, and that's when we saw it."

When he first saw it, Gaston thought that the UFO had been placed there by Patricio using Photoshop. And he didn't believe what he was seeing until his friend also swore that he was surprised by the whole thing. "I was told that there are may cases of "phantom UFOs" -- one doesn't see them at the site, but they subsequently appear in photos," he explained.

The group of friends included Facundo Olguin, Brenda Canizo and Bibiana Sanchez. All of them are currently receiving comments regarding the photo, as tends to occur in such cases. Most suspect its a trick, particularly because they believe that Patricio and Gaston have a masterful command of image editing software by virtue of being systems engineering students.

"The photo is right here. And if anyone wants to research it, no problem. It's available, because I'm not interested in making money on this either," said a defiant Patricio

Félix Fernandez, Omar Gonzalez and Virgilio Moreno, workers at the Direccion Provincial de Vialidad (Provincial Highway Authority) were returning from La Junta toward the city of Malargue in the south of the province of Mendoza after having worked on some machinery.

As they journey elapsed, Fernandez took pictures of the landscape with his cell phone (of which no data is available to this day). At 18:50 hours, a strange flying object - disk shaped - appeared out of nowhere and maneuvered in front of the sun and the witnesses.

It flew over the area for 15 minutes until standing still for a moment and losing itself toward the west in the El Chacal region. This allowed several photos to be taken of it. The episode was retold by Fernandez himself on Alvear's Radio 1 and recently reached the media.

Analyses performed by our specialist, Jorge Luis Figueiras, show a typical solid "saucer" shape with interesting contours and edges, similar to the ones photographed with cellphones at El Chocon and Santiago del Estero, both in 2008.

In the 1970s and 80s, military pilots allegedly not only saw UFOS, but engaged them. The team gets special access to ex-pilots in Iran and Peru who followed strange objects on hair-raising chases later investigated by the US Military. American jets have had close encounters that continue to this day with objects seemingly too fast to be terrestrial.

I think I saw a UFO in the sky last night when I went for a fag. It was a dot of light, Im sure I saw hints of blue or red but couldnt say for sure. It flashed on about every second and each time it flashed it moved about one to two inches, (from looking down here) It made erratic movements and gave the perspective that the speed was incredible, it came in short bursts and moved in the direction of the moon from the north.
I have seen different things in the sky but not sure if they were space junk burning up but this one certainly wasnt.

Hello Brian, Thanks for the fast reply. Yes you can post them and add my pen name please. "This happended on 4.8.08 at 3:15pm. I heard a jet going over my home and ran outside with the camera to see what it was. It was'nt a jet...as it was a perfectly round ball of metal with a mechanical leg on each side. The leg came up vertically from the center of the 'ball' and then down, like an upside down V. It was going slow towards the south. As I was trying to view this on my camera screen, I kept seeing the orange spheres flashing back and forth, in different directions, as though it was trying to flee perhaps the military jet, as they often do. I then saw the 2 orange spheres come side by side and the 'jetball' sitting still in front of these orange spheres. Thats when I snapped the pic. It happended so fast that I was unable to get any further pics. I heard a very loud super sonic sound, then saw the 2 black trails of smoke. All 3 objects then disappeared...and the smoke disappated quickly. The orange spheres appeared as lights or orbs...they did not seem to be a solid object. I did not hear the 'jetball' take off or go in any direction. It was just gone." If you have anymore questions, feel free to ask. I have a heavy plate right now...but as yourself...I'm for the truth. Which direction was it heading? You see if the ISS was as bright as that then it could be what I saw, but the thing I saw was heading northeast.

Also how long was it visible? Did it keep its brightness or did it fade away?

This site might help. You can adjust it from south of england. There are no sightings available over the next few days so check back later. The higher the max. elevation (70 - 90 degrees) the better.

Saginaw, Michigan, man discovers UFOs do exist; and he has a picture

Saginaw resident Matthew B. Mook, 21, photographed this image with his digital camera. He noticed a dark spot in the picture and when he blew up the section of the photo, it appeared to be disc-shaped like a UFO.

I love that guy's commentary in the follow up with the lone cloud. The majority of responses on youtube are as elementary as you can get. That is some crystal clear footage.

Follow up to the last youtube poster...if you look at second 29 there's an object that flashes in the upper right corner very quickly...is this a device used to suspend a model? Have a look for yourself. Good catch by that poster. It's hard to tell. The birds flying by do give it a sense of distance though. Tough call!

Another thing I'll throw out is in the original footage, by the look of the trees, it seems to be a very calm day. If he was suspending something it would remain stationary.

In the follow up footage it seems to be a bit breezy. (as a comparison)

'Thing' Smashes Through Roof Of New Zealand Home

Mysterious UFO invades lounge

Mystery today surrounded an unidentified flying object that smashed through the roof of a Hawke's Bay house, landing on the lounge floor yesterday.

The resident of Whakatu, eight kilometres northeast of Hastings, was home but in a different room.

It was first thought a small mechanical part had fallen from a small plane, but the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has discounted that theory.

CAA spokesman Bill Sommers told NZPA an aeronautical engineer studied the part and found it was not from a plane.

"So we don't know what it's from."

The metal object had rust on it, was about 11cm long, 4.5cm wide and weighed about a kilogram, Mr Sommer said.

It would be "impractical" to consider that it had fallen out of the plane somehow, he said.

He also discounted the object coming from outer space.

"It's not the kind of thing you'd want to put into space because it's too heavy," Mr Sommer said.

"So it's a bit mysterious."

Constable Ben Howat of Hastings police said they were investigating what the object was and where it came from.

Close call with UFO

Experts are mystified by an unidentified flying object that crashed through the roof of a Hawke's Bay home.

Nightshift worker George Cunningham woke about 5pm on Wednesday to find a fist-like hole in his lounge ceiling and a piece of rusty iron on the floor.

His wife Helen, who was at work when the object landed, said it could have killed someone standing in its path. "It's come through with the force of a bullet. The roof wasn't dented, it was a clean-cut hole."

Sergeant Ray Kirby, who is in charge of the case, described the hunk as arch-shaped, 10cm long and 5cm wide. "To me, it looks like a drumshoe from a brake."

The velocity of its descent suggests it fell from the sky, rather than being thrown.

An aviation expert and a Civil Aviation Authority aeronautical engineer have examined the object and agree it wasn't an aircraft part. "It's too heavy. Generally aircraft are made out of alloy," said Hawke's Bay Aviation chief executive Wattie Solomon, who also ruled out satellite and space station parts for the same reason.

Hi All
This reminds me of part of a muck spreader. That area is close to farm land and if any farmer was muck spreading then it is quite possible that a part broke inside and got thrown by the spreader.
I used to work on a farm when I lived back up north and our muck spreader was always breaking due to stones in the manure.
Just a thought :D

Agreed. It looks man made to me and with enough of the engraving intact you would think someone out there would be able to identify it fairly quickly. They were lucky no one was standing under it! Maybe they're afraid of a lawsuit for damages. It wouldn't cost too much to fix the guys roof since no one was injured.

As described more than once in the Stephenville and Selden, Texas, lights in January to February 2008 (see Earthfiles), the four lights reportedly went into a vertical straight line. From the line the lights formed a diamond and an arc. ABC15 KNXV-TV in Phoenix also reports that eyewitnesses said “the lights moved from side-to-side and upward before disappearing one-by-one. Toporek said the last light vanished and then briefly reappeared before disappearing again. ABC15 contacted several agencies, including the FAA, Sky Harbor, Luke AFB, and the Phoenix Police Department. No one could explain what the lights are.”

Another sighting of unexplained lights happened in St. Augustine Beach in the early-morning hours of April 14, reported WTLV-TV in Jacksonville. People around the world claimed to have seen the same kind of lights in the sky and are posting some of the images on YouTube.

At approximately 8:20 PM Arizona time 4 bright red lights hovered in the night sky. The lights moved creating several different shapes for around 7-8 minutes before 1 by 1 disappearing. The last light left much slower than the others moving upward until it was gone.

Unexplained lights spotted above Valley; were they flares?

PHOENIX -- Strange lights appeared above the Valley sky in formation on Monday night.

Witnesses said the lights formed a vertical line, then a diamond shape, followed by a u-shape.

The lights reportedly moved from side to side and upward before disappearing one by one.

ABC 15's Christopher Sign learned the largest UFO investigative group is now investigating the incident.

The Mutual UFO Network, known as MUFON has more than 6,000 field investigators worldwide who investigate reported UFO sightings.

"There's a number of things those lights could be," said MUFON investigator Jim Mann.

Mann and another investigator in Mesa say they will begin talking to witnesses and gather detailed information from what they saw.

"I always try to debunk sightings and I can't debunk it, then I know I've got something on my hands," said Mann.

MUFON investigations can last a matter of minutes to several weeks.

Mann says he and fellow investigator, Stacey Wright, are currently looking into several other UFO sightings across the valley that have all taken place in the daylight hours.

ABC15's Jon DuPre talked to one north Phoenix man late Tuesday afternoon who said he watched his neighbor launch four helium balloons with flares attached to them right before the mysterious lights were spotted.

He said he believed this could be the source of Monday night's sightings.

ABC15 knocked on the door and talked to that neighbor, who then said he didn't launch the flares, and instead it was another neighbor several doors down.

A Phoenix police helicopter pilot also witnessed the lights and described them as resembling flares.

FAA officials told ABC15 on Tuesday that air traffic controllers in the Sky Harbor tower saw the lights, but noticed nothing on their radar, meaning it was not an aircraft.

An official with the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) said they checked with their command center that monitors the skies to see what is entering the Earth's atmosphere. They have no reports of anything entering the Phoenix area.

A spokesperson from Luke Air Force Base in the West Valley also told ABC15 that the pattern of these lights was not common to an F-16 and that the lights were not from Luke.

The base had no aircraft in the air at the time of the sightings, according to that spokesperson.

Residents like Tony Toporkek caught the lights on camera and shared his video with ABC15.com.

Toporek was talking with his neighbors in north Phoenix when the lights appeared at about 8 p.m.

Those red flare type UFO's on the main page now I saw about 5-6 of them in bournemouth england. I could dig out the photo from my phone camera but it will be low quality and just stationary red dots which wouldnt really mean much.

Anyway anyone else seen them? They seem to move in a constant speed slightly changing tracjectory now and then. Nothing too exciting to be honest but considering 6 of these things flew over bournmouth close to town centre just like the video now on main page of this site I thought something might have been said.

Maybe I was the only person looking up at the time :/

Hey. I live in Indiana just a little north of Indianapolis and I have been hearing about all this stuff going on. First the night of April 16th there were many sightings and sounds heard, some described sonic booms, and others describe fireballs. I'm not sure but I believe this happened 2 nights in a row, which is pretty strange if it was just a "military exercise."

As you might have heard Indiana also experienced an earthquake on the morning of April 18th at approximately 5:40 AM. I personally was in bed and shaken awake at this time, but some friends were up late throwing a good bye party for someone. What they described seemed a little strange, especially with all this stuff going on from the 2 nights previous. They were outside sitting bye a fire, I would guess at about 3:30 AM when they see the sky light up a turquoise color and heard a sound that was like "the biggest fly in the world getting zapped on the biggest bug zapper in the world." Then 2 hours later we get an earthquake? Strange.

Full Description of event/sighting: I live on the north end of Kokomo. I was leaving my house on Purdum Street heading north for a walk. As I crossed Morgan street I looked up and saw four orange lights moving in the sky. At first I thought they might be airplanes. The brightest of them looked like they were first magnitude stars. As I continued to look, one object stopped ahead of me to my left, (Northwest at about 15 degrees above the horizon.) At this point that object went out and I could see no light. It came back on as bright as Venus. It started to sequence each light going on left to right in a counterclockwise , semi-circle pattern. Then each light would turn off one at a time starting at the beginning of where the first light of the group lit up first until all lights were out. As I looked around one of the other lights did the same thing. I continued my walk for half an hour. The lights were there all that time. All four lights did this sequence. At one time I saw three of the lights doing this at the same time. Sometimes the sequence only had two lights. I saw these lights do this about 15 to 20 times in a half an hour.

There was also pieces braking off of it . Also, for 8 hours on 4/16/08, Rush County, Indiana experienced no cell phone service, no land line long distance service, and no wireless internet service. People could not use credit cards or debit cards. Military helicopters also spotted hovering on the north side of town. Reports from phone and internet services stated that it was just a coincidence-- a fiber optic line had been cut during road repairs and the Verizon office in Ohio that handles our phone service had computer's go down that day.

Full Description of event/sighting: I came all the way from Dayton, Ohio to try and catch this UFO on video. My family is from Kokomo and I knew what was going on as it happened. Wednesday, the 16th I was talking to my mom who lives on the Howard/Tipton county line road around 10:30 when she told me about the big sonic boom. She said I wouldn't believe it, but that she was looking north from her bathroom window and was watching two white glowing UFO's. I called several people in town because I wanted someone to go take a picture of it. My mother doesn't use a camera. She watched the strange sighting hovering over WWKI and one in the direction of the Flowing Well road from her house for about 45 minutes until she went to bed. Then after my daughter called and told me weird things were going on and I needed to get up there and I decided to come up the next day. I came to Kokomo with my 14 year old daughter and her friend, equipped with my video camera, and two cameras. Thursday night we decided to go west of town since alot of reports were happening there. We just left Cici's pizza and were just crossing US 31 on Boulevard road when to the right I noticed a bright orange object just above the roof of the Kokomo mall. It was approximately 9:35 p.m. I had the two teenagers, my 27 year old daughter and her baby in the van with me. I screamed to them , "Look" there it is". I yanked the van into the parking lot as fast as I could and said, everyone grab your cameras.

We jumped out and I video taped and my oldest daughter took pictures. It looked like two orange orbs just over the roof of the mall. One light would come on then the other one next to it. Then they would go out one at a time and then repeated this again. All the girls perception was a little different than mine. They saw the lights and then something like the look of a lava light globbie string between the two orbs as they separated and then went out before the globes would come back on again one at a time again. My daughter caught a picture of it over the roof. It doesn't look like orbs though. I have a 7 second video of it. All I know is this was strange indeed. Some men from the Chrysler building across the street were on break and must of seen this too, because they were pointing over to where it was. We went out all night until 4:00 a.m. in the country and never saw anything more that night. Also as we were watching the orbs this overwhelming metallic smell was burning in our nostrils. Really strange.

Message: Hello, I live right next to Grissom AFRB in Indiana, and there has been a bit more than normal activity at night with the Air Force here, but that can be attributed to any number of things with them. OSI members are always skulking around here, snooping in the name of National Security and other stuff, so the reports you have fielded I find very credible, and if a video exists, Id love to see it. I hold degrees in Astrophysics and physics, and a member of the Stellar Research Group since 1990, as well as being a former Marine MP and Investigator. I guess my SETI side has been peeked by the incident, and the Air Forces reaction seems to go with there historical way of covering there tracks, under the guise of National Security or it never happened. go figure.

FAA Silences Air Traffic Controllers and Hoax Theory has Problems

On Monday, April 21, 2008, odd red lights appeared in the sky over Phoenix, Arizona. Video and photos were taken and Air Traffic Controllers in the main tower at Sky Harbor International Airport saw them. The FFA says that the lights did not appear on radar and weren't a threat to any air traffic, so no action was taken. However, the FAA has issued a statement saying that they will not allow the Air Traffic Controllers to talk about what they saw.

According to regional FAA Spokesperson Ian Gregor, it's against agency policy to allow the ATCs to discuss what they saw. The Phoenix New Times reported the story about the silencing of the Sky Harbor Air Traffic Controllers. They have already filed an official request to receive any documents or recordings that contain statements about the lights by the ATCs.

When asked what the FAA plans to do about the appearance of the lights in the sky over Phoenix on Monday night, FAA Spokesperson Ian Gregor said, "There is nothing to investigate." This is in direct opposition to the FAA policy to investigate anything and everything strange that might be reported in the sky over the USA. That policy has been in place since the terrorist attacks of 9/11/01.

Just a day after the lights were spotted, the Arizona Republic newspaper reported that Phoenix resident Lino Mailo claimed his neighbor launched several helium balloons with flares on them. Lilo says the balloons went up in the sky from his neighbor's yard around 8pm on Monday night. A Phoenix Police Helicopter Pilot also says that he saw what he believed were helium balloons with flares hanging from them. Despite these claims, there are some problems with the helium balloons explanation.

After hearing the hoax story, I contacted a friend who lives in Phoenix. He agreed to try and reach Mailo or his neighbor. Since the article came out on Tuesday, attempts to contact Lino Mailo have failed. He does not answer his door and his neighbor wasn't home when my friend stopped by on two occasions. In fact, people living two houses down from Mailo say that they know Lino's next store neighbor and he was not home on Monday night. They claim they were out in their own backyard that evening and would have seen balloons with flares being launched. They also agreed to ask him about the flare story when they next see or speak with him.

By contrast, a number of witnesses have come forward to say that jets took off from Luke Air Force Base on Monday night. Luke still claims they had no aircraft in the sky that evening. Further, I asked Kelly Atwood, a professional photographic software expert, to take a look at the video and photos from 4/21/08 lights event. She has extensive experience examining UFO photos for legitimacy and has been able to identify many hoaxes involving balloons, dry cleaning bags and flares.

Kelly says that the lights were too bright and the wrong color to be flares. She also states that the video does not show the normal affect that flares exhibit as they burn. Instead, the lights resemble objects that would have been much larger with a steady source of illumination. Kelly lives in phoenix, but was working on Monday night and didn't see the lights.

Apart from the holes in the hoax story, the FAA issues and Luke Air Force Base denials that jets were in the air when residents living near Luke say jets taking off, there are other things that point to the fact that strange lights have been back over Phoenix for some time. All told, there have been hundreds of reports about strange lights and unidentified objects in the Phoenix area since the original March 13, 1997 infamous 'Phoenix Lights' event. Many of the reports include photos, video, and come from credible witnesses.

On April-13-08, it was a clear day, with no clouds in sight. While taking a walk down at Southside Lions Park, multiple sightings of unknowns were witnessed and filmed on video.

The first sighting occurred about 9:12 am, after my walk as I was laying on the hood of my car. Facing west, I noticed a bright object high in altitude, that seemed to be heading in my direction. No contrail was visible, so I grabbed my camcorder for a closer observation and began filming. When zooming in on this object, it was brightly glowing and appeared to be spinning. This unknown object traveled east and out of sight.

The second unknown object was observed about 9:40 am. As I was looking west, I noticed a bright object high in altitude. So I grabbed my camcorder for a closer observation. Object was clearly at a high altitude and traveling southeast. (used top of the tree as a reference point) Unknown traveled behind the top of trees, and out of view .Unknown object was later observed and filmed again.

When zooming in, a bright orb can be observed. This object was clearly no aircraft.

Two unknowns objects were filmed on April-14-08, over the N/E side of town. First unknown object was seen @ 12:27 pm. On my lunch break, at Pletz County Park, I was facing northeast when I observed a bright object that seemed to be hovering. Object did not appear to be an aircraft. I grabbed my camcorder for a closer observation and began filming.

Unknown object seemed to be low in altitude (used the top of the trees as a reference point) When zooming in a bright glowing orb can be observed fading in/out..Unknown then traveled behind some trees, and out of view. Unknown object was traveling east. This object was clearly no aircraft.

Second unknown was observed @ 12:46 pm. As I was leaving the park, I was looking north, and noticed an extremely bright light high in altitude. At first I thought it was an aircraft, then I realized there was no contrail. So again I grabbed my camcorder and began filming.

Since object was right above me, at first the object was hard to find on viewfinder, and hard to keep still. Once in view, an orb can be seen traveling east. When zooming in a bright glowing sphere can be observed. This object did not appear to be an aircraft. Thank you

This is pretty interesting. There are 3 news reports at the above link which shows the phenomena caught on camera by the police 2 different times. The scientists, police and public have come up empty for an explanation. What causes an entire area to be lit up like daylight accompanied by a deafening sound?

Officers Vickie Warehime and J. Posluszny Jr. have solved a lot of mysteries, but this one is over their heads--literally.

In fact, it may be about 30 to 40 feet in the air.

For months, the Baltimore County Community Outreach officers have been investigating a bizarre phenomenon disturbing neighbors in an area of Pikesville near Beth Tfiloh Community School. Now, they say they may be closer to an answer.

Derek Valcourt reports 911 callers complain about a deafening explosion and a bright flash of light in the middle of night.

"The bedroom actually lights up like day," says Elaine O'Mansky, who lives in the Stevenson Commons condominium building near Beth Tfiloh. "It's instantaneous and wakes us up out of a very deep sleep."

She isn't alone. Barbara Friedman is Homeowner's Association president for the area.

She was up late one night sweeping her back patio when she heard the boom.

"I hit the deck," Friedman explained. "It was so loud, I thought I was being shot. I literally hit the deck."

After she realized she hadn't been shot, she started emailing other homeowners to see if they heard it too.

"Then my email got flooded because hundreds of people were hearing these noises and thought it was their imagination," she said.

The noise was so upsetting, Elaine O'Mansky decided it was time to start keeping track of the phenomenon when it occurred.

From late September until now, she's heard it 25 times, always between midnight and 7 a.m. with no consistent pattern.

Convinced something was wrong, Friedman and O'Mansky contacted police, who were skeptical at first.

"We were a little bit concerned that this was maybe a little bit of an exaggeration," said Sgt. Vickie Warehime. "They were saying they could see (the light) through their window blinds."

Police were concerned that if something really was as loud and as bright as neighbors described, it could potentially be dangerous. So they began to investigate.

Like many of the neighbors in the area, police first guessed that the noise could be coming from a hunter's rifle. But O'Mansky reminded them of the bright flash of light.

So police started investigating whether it was an electrical or gas problem.

Experts with BGE began checking all of the power equipment in the area. They climbed on rooftops of the nearby Beth Tfiloh School and nearby condo building to check all of their electrical equipment and air compressors, but found no evidence of problems. There was no electrical charring, burning or malfunctioning equipment.

A BGE spokesman confirms their investigation found no electrical problems or gas leaks in the area.

Then police decided to take the next step and install two cameras hoping to videotape the boom.

Elaine O'Mansky volunteered to wake up every night around midnight to turn on the camera officers had set up in a fifth floor window of her building.

"It wasn't until we caught it on tape that we realized the magnitude of what they were actually talking about," said Sgt. Warehime. "The sound is almost deafening. You can't describe it. Seeing it on tape without hearing the sound doesn't do it justice."

Videotape taken at 3:34 a.m. on April 23 does show a flash of light that lasts a fraction of a second and lights up an area the size of a football field in the middle of the night.

The flash on the tape is accompanied by loud boom that sounds like a crack of electricity or lightning.

WJZ meteorologist Bernadette Woods analyzed the dates, times and weather conditions when the phenomenon occurs.

"There's nothing coming out of the sky," said Woods, who added that weather likely isn't the primary cause of the flash and boom, but it may be a contributing factor. "The atmospheric conditions could be such that they are supporting the event."

Cameras have videotaped the event on two other occasions. Police have used the shadows cast by the light flash to determine an approximate area where they think the light source may be coming from--30 to 40 feet in the air in the parking lot between the Beth Tfiloh Community School and the Stevenson Commons condominiums building.

Officer Posluszny has already repositioned two cameras several times hoping to see the source of the boom and flash.

"So when we get it again, and we will get it again, we should be able to narrow down where it's starting," said Posluszny. "I will not retire until I find out what this is."

Police say they've consulted with many experts and they're running out of options.

"Everything we can rule out, we are ruling out, and we're almost at a loss right now," said Warehime. "We need some help."

"Whatever it is there's a scientific explanation," said Johns Hopkins University Physicist Dr. Peter Armitage, who reviewed the video tape evidence and went to the neighborhood where it's happening to see if he could find any possible causes.

Armitage says more evidence is needed before he can form a scientific conclusion.

"Right now it's hard to say the phenomenon is definitely occurring though," said Armitage. "It's not some people with creative imaginations that's for sure. When there's repeated eyewitnesses, and then there's something on tape like this, you really have to pay attention."

For now, neighbors like Bonnie Friedman and Elaine O'Mansky say their quality of life depends on whether this mystery is solved.

"We would like it to stop," said O'Mansky. "You go to sleep at night just wondering in the back of your mind, 'Is it going to happen again?"

Friedman agrees. "We even said maybe it's aliens. We're at the point where we'll listen to anyone's theory. We just need to stop it because my homeowners need to sleep."

Police say they will release more information about the case Tuesday afternoon.

Arizona - Strange Object Photographed in Sky

My sister, who lives on the same property, stepped out onto her porch to smoke, called and woke me and said "Get up now and look out your back door. She seemed frightened so I jumped up and looked through the window in the door and immediately saw what she was upset about. There was a large object in the sky visible just over my storage barn that looked like an explosion of some sort in slow motion.

She and I watched it for several minutes (her on her front porch, me on my back porch) then I got my wits about mem and went in and got my camera.

It looked like a cloud with brightly colored lights tumbling randomly around inside it. It was in constant motion, but seemed to remain stationary as if it were hovering in the same place. The object also had a kind of halo around it. I took about a dozen pictures of it thinking that my inexpensive digital camera (Kodak Z740) would not pick it up, as it does not get good photos in low light and this was in the middle of the night.

I then went in and got my video camera and got a few minutes of it, but it was so cold and I was pretty scared, so I was shaking and it was hard even with bracing in my doorway to keep the camera on it.

After almost an hour and a half, it began to move due west away from us, and in about five minutes it was gone. I remember thinking at the time to be very quiet and to keep my lights off because I didn't want to alert it to my presence.

Late February, Around 3:00 AM

My sister called to say the same thing was back but I got outside only in time to see it moving off to the west and got no photos of it.

March 22, 2007

Around 11:30 PM, I was again alerted by a call from my sister that the odd thing in the sky was back and in the same place. This time knowing that my camera would pick it up, I got it and my tripod, and set them up on my small back porch. Not being camera savvy, I took several pictures using different settings or modes and ended up with about 25 photos. I also took some more video tape.

Having told him about our previous experience, I telephoned my brother who lives about 100 miles south of us in Jacksonville, because he said if it happened again he wanted to check and see if it was high enough for him to catch sight of, but it was not.

We watched the show it put on for about 3 1/2 or 4 hours, and this time when it began to move away to the west we felt braver and tried to follow it in my car but soon lost sight of it.

April 20, 2007-About 10:00 PM

I was walking through my living room on my way to bed and when I turned off the lights, I saw the glow from the object again-this time from my window. So, I called my sister and once again set up my tripod and got about 25 pictures of it. We watched it for a couple of hours, but having convinced ourselves it must be some kind natural occurrence, we went on to bed.

It was not until some time later that while talking to my step daughter about it and sending her the pictures over the Internet via Google's Picasa program, that shows you the information on each photo such as when it was downloaded, that we realized that we were seeing this at or about the same time every month.

To be honest, I had forgotten all about it until my brother called and said he had happened to see a program on the history channel called UFO Hunters, Episode: 2008: Texas UFO.

He wanted me to watch the rerun of it because the pictures looked shockingly similar to mine. And I must agree they do, and with the whole thing being totally silent the same way that the people described on the show, I thought they might be the same. The photos do not give the live occurrence justice, but I hope they will be of some help.

Glowing Sphere Caught on Video _ Grantham, UK

Monday, 5pm - WEIRD lights in the sky over Grantham were caught on video by Journal reader Andy Aulton.
Andy was hosting a barbecue at his home on Saturday evening when he spotted the orange spheres in the sky.

He said: "All of a sudden this big bright ball appeared, moving from south to north on a steady trajectory at a constant speed.

"The eerie thing about it was there was no noise at all, and as our RAF frinds fly over our house regularly we know the sound of jet engines."

Andy saw three of the objects pass overhead in around 15 minutes.

The witness used a Canon PowerShot S30. The flying object was not seen at the moment that the photo was taken.

It did air last night:

'Code Red'

"How would the military respond if UFOs suddenly invaded restricted U.S. airspace? It allegedly happened, and the team gets a rare interview with the Military Air Traffic Controller who was there, and uncovers remastered audio tapes and radar imaging that reconstructs a shocking, little known series of events over the southwest United States."

This was an unknown event to me that was completely recorded by the military. Several witnesses came forward including the people on the audio tape that chased the UFOs. During the event they called up the "UFO Officer" that handled these situations. He turned out to be completely useless but the rest of the staff involved were on the ball.

Gotta love the military..."There are no such things as UFOs. Give me our UFO Officer." heheh

Definately worth the watch when it's released!

Sacramento, California-Photos of Unknown Object

Close-up UFO activity to Chemtrails, Black helicopters etc.

Time on camera was incorrect, and was not noticed until later. The photographs were taken between 10:00 AM and 2:30 PM. Photos were taken with Cannon Power Shot 530.

Witness/Photographer Statement:

I took a picture in the night and when I put it on my computer, I discovered another object-very bright(white). Since that moment I started to take pictures of the airplanes, helicopters, and the sky. I did that from 10/29/06 to 05/30/07.

After that, I bought a video recorder and I began recording the same airplanes, helicopter and sky with that. I have 5 hours of video where rare things appear.

I have other rare pictures, and you can let me know if you want me to send them to you. I would like to send you all the pictures so you can analyze them, and if you think some of them are interesting you can post them in your web site.

I hear that. Last week was a repeat, they mixed up the order of a few and confused the scheduling. I think it was because of the Stephenville episode which they squeezed in because it was brand new. This code red one is definately worthy. The entire event on audio and the military caught requesting the assistance of their "ufo officer". They even have the radar graphs as well as the witnesses who finally came forward. There were several ufos involved in this one...7 I think it was, all breaking the no fly zone directly over a military base.

May 2, 2008 Decatur, Alabama - On Saturday, April 26, TV stations in Huntsville and Decatur, Alabama, broadcast news about dozens of people the night before on Friday, April 25, who called Decatur police and fire departments about strange lights in the Decatur sky around 11 PM. Strangest of all was what happened over on 8th Street at the Brookhaven Middle School’s Aquadome parking lot. Police cars and fire trucks on the ground and at least three military helicopters in the air were all concentrated on a single ambulance that had a stretcher outside its open doors. On the stretcher was a 3-foot-diameter sphere that looked like a glistening pearl.

One of two teenage eyewitnesses who got close to the scene is 17-year-old Codey Terry, a student at Decatur’s Bob Jones High School. He explains what led to his being so close to the sphere on the stretcher that he could see that ambulance light “sparkled like a diamond” on the sphere’s surface as if it were a large, round crystal.

“Friday afternoon (April 25, 2008) when I got out of school, my girlfriend and I hung out and went to see a movie. Then we went back to her house. I left her about 11 PM and was going back to Decatur to my grandma’s house to spend the night. I was also going to pick up my friend, Zack, to spend the night with me.

So, I got into Decatur and had just gotten past the Courthouse and on to Central Parkway. I was going down that road for – I don’t know – maybe three minutes and I saw this bluish-white light coming through my windshield. I thought that was weird because I did not remember seeing the moon out – plus, it just happened so quick. So, I leaned forward and looked out my window and it looked like an airplane was coming straight down towards me. It looked like two, big headlights.

So, I slammed on the brakes and my car started spinning out of control. There were no other cars and I got out and was looking in the sky. I was also on the phone with Zack and I was yelling at him to get under his bed, to take cover, because a plane was about to crash. Then, all of a sudden, whatever I was seeing, it just stopped in the middle of the air. And it never was making a sound. I don’t know if it changed shape, but it definitely got brighter. Those two lights that were on it changed to one huge, big, solid, complete circle of light and it was blinding bright.

So, I held my hand up in front of my eyes looking through my hand and the light picked up speed and went straight to the ground. I never heard an explosion. I didn’t see anything. And that’s weird!

At that time, my mom was calling me because she wanted me to go to the store and get some milk. I told her, ‘I can’t believe what I just saw!’ She said, ‘Well, don’t freak out because on the news they were saying something about strange lights over Decatur.’ So, I get off the phone with my mom and I turned on to 8th Street, which is where it happened.

8th Street and Aquadome

All of a sudden, a few fire trucks and ambulances and cops pass me, running through the red lights as quick as they can. That was weird, too! I figured they were going to whatever I had seen. So, I got to my friend’s house and told Zack.

Then, (Codey makes sound of helicopter blades whopping) there was the sound of helicopters coming from everywhere. Zack and I go outside and I know for sure we saw one helicopter. But to me, it looked like there were two more beside it (total three) all black.

We jumped in the car and hurried down there and by the time we got to the Aquadome, the helicopters had already landed. The fire trucks were in the middle of the road, so we parked in a driveway and jumped a fence. We were sitting there watching from beside an apartment that was so close, I was within fifteen feet of the action. A helicopter was on the ground in the Aquadome parking lot and it was a Med Fly helicopter (from Huntsville, not Decatur). There were at least two more helicopters in the air.

WHERE IT CAME DOWN, WHAT IS THERE?

That is a middle school, but where they picked up the sphere is a recreational center with a swimming pool and play ground and basketball courts.

WHAT IS THAT SCHOOL CALLED?

Brookhaven Middle School.

WHERE WERE YOU SEEING THE AMBULANCE ON THE BROOKHAVEN MIDDLE SCHOOL LAND?

Brookhaven is right next door to the Aquadome. They were on the Aquadome's back parking lot.

SO, FROM YOUR POINT OF VIEW, WHERE THE AMBULANCE CAME ON THAT PARKING LOT IS WHERE THE SPHERE SOMEHOW ENDED UP?

Right, and what was weird about it is that I sat there and watched the fire trucks pull up. Well, some of the fire trucks went straight and some took a right.

They all came in the same way, but they branched out like they were circling – like the way the fire trucks went in, there is no road. They went down a gravel walking trail to the playground. The fire trucks were circling like in a blockade, do you know what I mean?

BUT THE FIRE TRUCKS CIRCLED, THE HELICOPTERS CIRCLED. DID THE POLICE CARS CIRCLE AS WELL?

They were in front of everything. I never saw which way they went, but it seemed like they branched off – like I didn’t even see them pull up and park. And then after we parked our car and came back, the police were there.

ALL OF THE HELICOPTERS OR SOME CAME FROM HUNTSVILLE (20 miles east of Decatur)?

All of them.

YOU KNOW THAT BECAUSE?

I saw them fly from that direction. And I know there is no military base in Decatur. Not only that, there is one hospital in Decatur and it’s called Decatur General and it has a Med Flight on top of it. But what’s weird is that the Med Flight helicopter did not come from that hospital. It did not come from that direction and it did not have Decatur Med Flight on it.

IT DID NOT HAVE DECATUR MED FLIGHT WRITTEN ON IT.

Right.

DID IT HAVE ANY WRITING ON IT?

I remember seeing Med Flight on it, but I don’t remember numbers and I’m pretty sure it was Huntsville. But I do know what the Decatur Med Flight looks like and that was not it.

WHAT ABOUT THE POLICE, FIRE AND ALL OF THAT?

They were all from Decatur.

UFO Videotaped in Saltcoats, Scotland

TWO Herald readers have been stunned after seeing what they believe to be alien space crafts hovering through the skies of Saltcoats.

Alex Gibb, 34, had been sitting in his home on Saughtree Avenue when he spotted the four strange lights at around 9pm.

He doesn't believe in UFO's and so he went outside to investigate and took some shocking footage which can be seen below.

Alison Kelly was in Adams Road in Saltcoats at the same time when she saw the unusual sight and she and her family were gobsmacked at the sight.

Technical personnel from the PRRG performed an optical and scientific analysis employing Adobe Photoshop 6.0 on three photos depicting an unidentified flying object with a solid shape that made peculiar and typical movements. These movements created a plasma vortex, which is nothing more than the accumulation of energy made up of radiation and heat.

According to the witnesses, the object emitted a very potent and intermittent light. This indicates that high levels of radiation took place in its surroundings, interacting by colliding between the Earth’s magnetic field and the magnetic force lines of hydrogen and oxygen in the planet’s atmosphere, causing it to glow in various colors and generating a significant amount of positive ions.

Witness Report: "It all happened on Friday, March 17, 2008 at 9:56 p.m. when my husband and I looked out on a clear, unclouded night. What we saw that evening was to the north of our point of view, as it was possible to see a mountainous area in the background which gave us a more precise point of reference for the [object’s] position with regard to our own. My husband saw a brilliant light through the window, flashing in various colors and remaining static in the sky. He then summoned me to witness the event, and we were both able to clearly see the blinking light.”

Among the characteristics of a UFO sighting, we know that these [objects] have the capability or property of transforming themselves into energy, adopting a different shape. Their colors are more intense. We can interpret that at that time they issue a maximum quantity of radiation – microwaves, x-rays, magnetism and others beyond our scientific knowledge.

We must bear in mind that these vehicles or craft violate all physical laws known to mankind when they appear in our reality. To my understanding, these craft are governed by a dimensional space-time principle, which has hitherto been the only logical explanation that accounts for their presence in our 3-D reality.

We know from experience that this location is rich in UFO events (flaps) and the residents of this town [Naranjito] mostly discuss their own encounter experiences with unidentified flying objects. We hope to be able to share with you other incidents that may occur at this location.

Puerto Rico is currently undergoing a UFO flap. There is a considerable amount of information reaching us; some of it cannot be published due to the sensitive nature of the subject.

UFO over Magnolia Gardens, Fla. The Google Maps satellite map of Magnolia Park, Florida shows a clear view of an unusual object floating above 39th Street in the town. The shadow on the object is similar to the shadows on the ground, meaning that it is in the atmosphere relatively close to the surface, probably no higher than 20,000 feet.

There are no towers or unusual objects in the area that could account for the formation, which appears to be in rapid vibrational movement. Because of the unusual motion visible on its surface, it is not likely that this is a balloon.

Without knowing its distance from the ground, it is impossible to determine the size of the object, but it would seem to be quite large, even huge.

Calls to individuals living in the area and a search of news sources for 2005 revealed no reports of UFOs over Palm Beach or Magnolia Park this year. The last National UFO Reporting Center report for Palm Beach was in 1999.

California-Unknown Craft Photographed

California-04-24-08-I was fishing on Lake Trinity, and heard the sound of an aircraft engine. It was a very low frequency sound, but I felt it more than I could actually hear it. I only had an older Sony digital camera with me, the batteries were almost dead. I snapped 4 pictures before the camera shut off, only one came out when I read the disk.

I observed the aircraft until it vanished. It flew straight and level, I was unable to guage its size since I had no reference. But a best guess, since I have seen airliners fly over a couple of times early in the morning, I would say it was as big as a medium sized airliner, probably the size of the space shuttle. I know aircraft well, this did not look like anything I have seen out at Nellis.

It was very quiet, when an airliner flies over this lake, I hear it long before I can see it. This thing was already overhead when I heard it. It was flying southeast, as if it was on course to Las Vegas. One thing that was strange, just before I heard it, or felt it, I had a funny feeling that something was watching me, so I scanned the shorline thinking there was something watching me, then my exposed skin warmed up fast and only for 15 seconds as if I was hit with a microwave beam.

Almost enough to make me want to jump in the water. Then I felt it and saw the exhaust trail and grabbed the camera cause it was a single contrail, larger than any airliner.

The one shot that came out was at the camera's highest zoom, it is a 10X optical zoom. I was really reluctant of reporting this, the course it was on, well it flew over the most heaviest forested, least populated part of Northern California.

This thing left me with such a strange feeling that I packed up and sped home asap. I was scheduled to be on the lake through the weekend. Now I don't think this thing is alien, but it is a UFO because I don't know what the hell it is.

UFO 'spotted' in Derry, Northern Ireland

Michael Harkin from Galliagh got in contact by email this week with this startling photograph which appears to show a suspected UFO in the Prehen area of Derry.
He writes - "I am writing to see if you would be interested in a picture which was taken on my mobile phone yesterday (Tuesday, 6/5/08). It was taken from a car while travelling to Prehen in Derry. I realised that there seemed to be an unusual object in the sky and decided to take a picture. On examination it seems to be a saucer-like object flying flying not far above houses on the Prehen Road." He wonders if anyone else saw it? Perhaps there was one of those masterchefs in the vicinity . . .

It was interesting how they came up with explanations for the complex tether incident but were left perplexed with the simpler footage of space objects changing course. The footage of the objects entering the atmosphere and "charging up" remains some of the best I've seen to date. There's just no way of using "ice particles" to brush those off. They had a hell of a season 1...can't wait for 2!

I know, they don't have a chance too even come up with any cover-theory on those.
A great ending on the season but they could have gone more into what the beam of light was.
Lets hope lots of people will see this episode, this can make change.

The video shows several small bright objects manoeuvering on screen, apparently interacting with one another in a complex fashion. Sceptics have usually insisted these are merely shots of some of the many small ice particles which inevitably end up in orbit with every space shuttle.

UFO investigators were quick to dispute this interpretation, and US scientist Richard C. Hoagland soon conclusively demonstrated the objects were actually large-sized and many hundreds of kilometres away from the shuttle.

One UFO in particular appears to rise up from below the Earth's dawn horizon and can be clearly seen emerging from behind the atmosphere and the 'airglow' layers. It is certainly in orbit around the Earth, some distance out in space, and travelling quickly.

A sudden, bright flash of light is then seen to the left of the picture, below the shuttle. The UFO then turns at a sharp angle and heads out into space at very high speed. Two thin beams of light (or possibly condensation trails) move rapidly up from the Earth's surface towards where the UFO would have been if it had continued in its original orbit.

Subsequently, careful analysis of the video shows that:

The light flash and light beams (or contrails) that shoot into space have variously been described as a ground-based attempt to disrupt or destroy the UFO. Hoagland interprets the incident captured by the Discovery's videocamera more specifically as a "Star Wars" weapons test against a Star Wars drone (the UFO). Other UFO investigators prefer to describe it as a Star Wars attempt against an extraterrestrial UFO. Whichever version you prefer, the technology implied is most certainly impressive - at least of Star Wars calibre.

More recently, from New Zealand, investigators have reviewed the video and corrected the actual time it was taken. They have found that the UFO incident was recorded over Australia and not the Philippine islands as was originally thought. Discovery's trajectory had already taken it across Surabaya in Java and above the Simpson Desert, Western Australia.

Over 500,000 actuations on this camera. Never have I had this in one of my pictures. Taken with a Nikon d2x 14-24mm lens.

Editor's Note: In many photographs like these, a lens flare or camera artifact is the culprit causing the anomalous "UFO." However, in this case, we have a professional photographer who has taken a half-million snaps with his camera, and certainly he would be able to elminate these commonplace reasons for the unknown object.

Then how much of it will be worthless? I myself has seen strange bright lights ascending with speed, looking like bright beacon that progressed quickly until they go beyond visual range. This happened twice over the same area at night, one week between sightings but I expect it could have been weather balloons.

It will be interesting to see what comes out of this news

I don't believe that it is possible to control all people, neither prevent them fiding out what is true or not. Misinformation may delay the pursuit of truth but cannot totally stall it's progress.

UFOs Videotaped, San Jose Bay, CA

I filmed this with my Canon night shot in the middle of the day with an infrared lens 1000 while using night shot as well. Me and the person I was with both could not see anything in the clear PM daylight blue sky with a tiny cloud that was focused on when I saw them through the LCD on the camera but not in the sky.

After putting the camera down for a few seconds maybe ten or 20, I tried filming what was there but couldn't find anything for the next ten minutes anywhere in the sky.

Filmed on 4/26/08 at around 3:00 PM with mostly clear sky and a gentle breeze occasionally.

Neither of us need glasses and neither of us could see anything in the sky. There were no sounds coming from them as far as I could hear. No unusual smells, and no other planes fly in that part of the sky normally, just helicopters and maybe 2 at most. I hope I answered most of the questions you would like to know.

The witness is sending me a first generation copy of the original footage via snail mail.

Unknown Objects Photographed over Cologne, Germany

I was having an evening meal with friends (Cologne, Germany) on the 10th of May this year. Suddenly my sister noticed an object flying over us (we were on a balcony) at a huge speed (too fast for a balloon) and emitting no sound. The object flew in a straight line past us. After that object had passed, another object followed it.

This happened until about 7 objects had passed us. Then, all of the objects met together and therefore decreased speed. Suddenly, all of them flew out of sight due to a sudden burst of high acceleration. Luckily, a friend was able to shoot some pictures.

The coordinates from where I took the pictures were: 50°55'41.22" N 6°57'01.26" E

My friend was next to me and took all pictures outside. (Told him to get cam when we all (6 people) saw the UFO's. Canon Eos was the Camera. It was at 10:00 PM.

I have no idea how fast they were. Because they was no sound emitted from them. But it must at least have been 200 mph. Strangely enough, someone contacted me and said that he saw the same object half an hour later in Braunschweig.

As speculation still surrounds the mysterious flying object spotted in the Derry skies last week, local man Michael Harkin speaks to the 'Journal' about his photograph and why this particular X-File has sparked global interest.

Michael Harkin, from Ederowen Park in the Galliagh area, still insists that he saw something strange hovering overhead while driving through Prehen last Tuesday.

"I'm not a big believer in flying saucers, but I suddenly saw it out the window as we came over the hill and screamed to Catriona, who was driving, to stop the car.

We slowed down and were literally crawling along the road at about 20 miles per hour when I took the photo and by the time I had taken the photo and the car had stopped, it was gone.

"We must have only seen it for about ten seconds at the most before it disappeared, so we were actually really lucky to get that one photograph."

Websites and UFO forums all over the world have since picked up on Derry's UFO, and Michael says he will be replying to every response with details and co-ordinates of the exact spot.

On whether the photograph could be an elaborate hoax, 32-year-old Michael says: "To begin with, I wondered if it was some sort of helium balloon, but it was far too big. It definitely wasn't the tax disc on Catriona's car either, as that is still there, further down near the bottom of the window.

Even though we saw it, I suppose it could have been a model space ship or something similar but it was just so big. It was definitely outside the car and way above us - I just knew it wasn't normal and that's why we stopped the car."

Michael says he and the car's driver, Catriona Horner, have been overwhelmed at the interest the photograph has generated.

"We're amazed that so many people seem interested in it. We only sent it into the 'Journal' because it was so unusual. Catriona has been defending what we saw too, she wants people to know that it's definitely not Photoshopped and the actual photo saved on my mobile phone is no different to the one I sent to the paper."

So does Michael believe that the truth really is 'out there'?

"I'm still a sceptic I suppose, but it was just so massive I don't know what to think."

Unknown Black Object Photographed over East Berne, NY

My wife and I are school bus drivers. I was riding with her on her late run and we had two students left on the bus. It was 5:10 PM Monday, May 12. We would have driven right by and not seen this, but one of the students pointed it it out. We were located at the intersection Rt 443 and Cole Hill in East Berne NY.

This one student was adamant we give her a photo when we got them printed out. We stopped and luckily I had my digital camera. I took two photos (it was hard to focus on it) and we had to move on to get the children home. Our two passengers were about 9 years old.

They thought the clouds were just odd-shaped, but we thought they were something else (a UFO).

We never mentioned what we thought it was to them. The object was in the middle of some low level cirrus-type clouds, and in the southern horizon above the top of a mountain range. In the short time that we observed it, it did not appear to move much. As we drove away it appeared to fade or not be visible from a different angle.

Here are the details of my picture. We were on the big Island, on the Kona side. We were staying at the Waikoloa Marriott. We were on the 5th floor in an ocean front room. I took this picture from our balcony.

I set up my monopod for stability. My camera is a Nikon D70 and I was using an 80 to 400 Vibration Reduction telephoto lens. I took 15-20 different shots of the sunset. The first time I noticed the green saucer shaped object was when I downloaded the pictures on my laptop.

I was very surprised when I looked at the picture. I take thousands of pictures and I have never had one like that. Maybe it is only a flashback, but it would be nice to find out for sure. Thank you for your interest in my picture. I look forward to staying in touch with you.

Editor's Note: When I first saw the photograph in question, I immediately thought it was a light or lens flare because of the sunset. The photo was so nice, I decided to set it as my desktop background for a time. The more I looked at it, the more I was unsure about just what the "green, saucer-shaped image" might be, and thought I would post it and let you photography experts have a look. I am setting a 740 pixel wide photo here, but also giving a full size download link for those who are interested.

UFO Leaving Far Side of the Moon

UFO picture taken in November 1985 from my backyard, west of Miami, Florida thru a 35mm camera attached to a refractor telescope. According to the research done on this photograph (see below), the UFO was passing between the earth and moon orbit (closer to moon's orbit) and the approximate speed was 18,000 MPH. The film used was an ASA 1000 speed with a high exposure aperture. The film roll was 12 exposures; shot continuously at the object and it only showed in the last frame. The fact that the crescent moon shows behind the UFO makes this picture unique and authentic.

The photograph was examined by the physics department at the University of Miami. Also I met two government agents that apparently were contacted by an "unknown" person from University of Miami and they examined the photo and share information with me about this "type" of UFO. They showed me a blue print table size with a similar UFO flying under a surveillance Air Force airplane in Guanacaste, Costa Rica in the year 1975. They mentioned that the UFO flying under the airplane was the same or very similar to the one I have captured in my photo. The photo was shown at the CBS-WFOR news in a 10-15 minute segment in a special report by anchor woman news Ana Azcuy. In the CBS segment they showed the photograph to various individuals for comments, among them, Eastern Airlines pilots, the Miami Space Transit Planetarium Director, Jack Horkheimer among others. The photo was also in the Miami Herald and other local media.

Unknown Object Videotaped over San Antonio, TX-05-16-08

On May-16-08, an unknown object was filmed traveling southeast. While driving home from work @12.00 pm, I noticed aircraft activity to the west. A brightly glowing object at a much higher altitude was seen.

This object did not appear to be an aircraft, so I pulled over grabbed my camcorder, and began filming. At first object appeared to be traveling at an angle.

When zooming in, object seems to turn on its side, travel southeast and out of view. I am sending a still and attaching the video clip for you to analyze. If you need more info get back with me.

11:30am Thursday 15th May 2008-THE Daily Echo needs help in solving Hampshire's latest UFO mystery. Just a day after it was revealed 42 UFOs have been spotted in the county in the past ten years, a new video has emerged of a strange object in our skies.

The footage was captured by company director Will Campbell on Monday, May 5, and shows a cube-shaped object floating high above houses in Shirley.

"I was at home when my housemates Mina and Simon spotted the object out the window.

We could barely see it with the naked eye, so I got my video camera out to zoom in to get a clearer picture of the object," the 28- year-old said.

"It appeared to be a black, almost cube shaped. At first it was slowly rising, but then seemed to stabilise at an altitude and move away into the distance. We could see it for about 15 minutes, before it eventually got too far away."

Mr Campbell was confident the object wasn't a kite as there was "absolutely" no wind that day.

"Its large arc across the sky also means that it was not tethered to the ground in the way an advertising blimp would be.

The shape of the object wasn't round like a weather balloon.

"I rather hope that one of the readers of the Daily Echo might be able to shed some light on what the object was."

Mr Campbell said he believed extra-terrestrial life was out there, but that he was very sceptical of most UFO claims.

"I don't believe that there is a great deal of UFO activity and I think that the vast majority of sightings can be explained. There are however a few sightings which are very difficult to explain."

Two Unknown Objects in Photograph of Taj Mahal in India

Hello, first off I would like to say great job on the site. Keep up the good work. Secondly, I am sending a photo which contains two objects that I cannot identify. I am hoping that maybe you can or at least confirm my suspicions that they are indeed UFOs.

In March of 2008, my friend was traveling in India and Pakistan. She took many pictures and I transferred them from her camera to CD for her. The picture I have sent really caught my eye. Aside from it being of the Taj Mahal, on the upper left hand side are two objects that appear to be flying in some sort of formation.

I don't know what they are, but being a UFO buff I thought I would send them to you. What do you think?

The only change I made to the pics was to crop my friend out from the bottom. Other than that, it is untouched. I don't know the exact date of the pic, but it was in March.

Blue Hill Web Cam Image Capture Shows Unknown Object

Here is an object caught by the web cam at http://hazecam.net/bluehill.html on 5/13/08, 07:45 PM EDT, no date time stamp because this was the left side photo, one of two making up the panorama.

I've been viewing these types of web cam images for approximately three years now, and this is only the second time that I have noticed what one would call a UFO in any of the thousands that I have viewed to date.

I have seen many that I could not be sure were not blurred insects or light defects through the lenses of the cams but here again this seems to be the real UFO deal as was my first Blue Hill UFO submission last year.

I sent in that web cam capture of another UFO back on 4/13/07, that was taken from the Blue Hill Observatory in Massachusetts, see: http://www.ufocasebook.com/hazecamphotos041307.html and a follow up on it http://www.ufocasebook.com/bluehillfollowup.html. Strangely, I was looking at that same Blue Hill Observatory web cam on May 13th 2008 and spotted another UFO in the image, it is not as clear as the one I got last year, but you can tell that it is not your typical aircraft, at least none known to me.

A video that purportedly shows a living, breathing space alien will be shown to the news media Friday in Denver.

Jeff Peckman, who is pushing a ballot initiative to create an Extraterrestrial Affairs Commission in Denver to prepare the city for close encounters of the alien kind, said the video is authentic and convinced him that aliens exist.

"As impressive as it is, it's still one tiny portion in the context of a vast amount of peripheral evidence," he said Wednesday. "It's really the final visual confirmation of what you already know to be true having seen all the other evidence."

When Peckman went before city officials this month to discuss his proposed ET initiative, he promised to show the video.

Peckman said the general public will have to wait to see it because it's being included in a documentary by Stan Romanek.

"No one will be allowed to film the segment with the extraterrestrial because there is an agreement in place limiting that kind of exposure during negotiations for the documentary," he said.

But people won't have to wait too long to see it for themselves.

"There is an open, public meeting in about a month in Colorado Springs," Peckman said. "We'll hope to do one in Denver at some point, and then in a few months, there will be the documentary that anybody can have, and it'll have the footage."

An instructor at the Colorado Film School in Denver scrutinized the video "very carefully" and determined it was authentic, Peckman said.

Peckman, 54, said the video was among the reasons he was "compelled" to launch the proposed ballot initiative, which has generated news as far as South Africa.

"It shows an extraterrestrial's head popping up outside of a window at night, looking in the window, that's visible through an infrared camera," he said. The alien is about 4 feet tall and can be seen blinking, Peckman said earlier this month.

In a statement, Peckman said "other related credible evidence" proving aliens exist will be shown at Friday's news conference, too.

In 2003, Peckman authored an off-beat ballot initiative that would have required the city to implement stress-reduction techniques. The "Safety Through Peace" initiative failed, but garnered 32 percent of the vote.

What do we have here? I used to live in Colorado Springs. I'm curious to see the video regardless of the outcome. Will powers step in to prevent it? Is it a staged event on purpose? Is it someone just selling another documentary? Time will tell. The truth is out there!

One of the largest UFOs ever seen has been observed by the crew and passengers of an airliner over the Channel Islands.

An official air-miss report on the incident several weeks ago appears in Pilot magazine.

Aurigny Airlines captain Ray Bowyer, 50, flying close to Alderney first spotted the object, described as "a cigar-shaped brilliant white light".

As the plane got closer the captain viewed it through binoculars and said: "It was a very sharp, thin yellow object with a green area.

"It was 2,000ft up and stationary. I thought it was about 10 miles away, although I later realised it was approximately 40 miles from us. At first, I thought it was the size of a [Boeing] 737.

"But it must have been much bigger because of how far away it was. It could have been as much as a mile wide."

Continuing his approach to Guernsey, Bowyer then spied a "second identical object further to the west".

He said: "It was exactly the same but looked smaller because it was further away. It was closer to Guernsey. I can't explain it. This was clearly visual for about nine minutes.

"I'm certainly not saying that it was something of another world. All I'm saying is that I have never seen anything like it before in all my years of flying."

The sightings were confirmed by passengers Kate and John Russell. John, 74, said: "I saw an orange light. It was like an elongated oval."

The sightings were also confirmed by an unnamed pilot with the Blue Islands airline.

The Civil Aviation Authority safety notice states that a Tri-Lander aircraft flying close to Alderney spotted the object.

"Certain parts of the report have not been published. I cannot say why," said a senior CAA source.

Earlier this year, however, the MOD declared its intentions to open its UFO files to the public.

Brian, On the day of April 20, 2008 I was out in the backyard here in Satsuma,Alabama when I noticed a silver object in the clear blue sky. My D-SLR was in its case on the carport so I grabbed the camera and took 7 pictures before it disappeared. The object made no sound and moved off in a eastern direction. All 7 pictures were taken in less than 10 seconds. Here are the pictures, reduced for e-mail with a close-up included in each photo. The time was 12:47pm.

HANOI (Reuters) - An unidentified flying object exploded in mid-air over a southern Vietnamese island, state media said on Wednesday, a day after Cambodia's air force retracted a report of a mysterious plane crash.

The Vietnam News Agency said residents of Phu Quoc island, 10 km (6 miles) off the coast of the Cambodian province of Kampot, found shards of grey metal, including one 1.5 meters (1.5 yards) long.

"The explosion happened at about 8 km (5 miles) above the ground, and perhaps it was a plane, but authorities could not identify whether it was a civil or military aircraft," VNA said in a report headlined "UFO explodes over Phu Quoc Island."

Soldiers were sent out to look for wreckage and survivors, and local authorities contacted airlines in Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand, but received no reports of missing aircraft, the official state news agency added.

Villagers in Kampot said on Tuesday that they had heard a loud explosion. On Wednesday they told Reuters they had found small chunks of metal near the coastline.

Kung Mony, deputy commander of Cambodia's Air Force, said on Tuesday he had been told of a foreign plane crashing in Kampot province, but later backed off his claims of an aircraft accident.

A UFO is being blamed for a mysterious mid-air explosion over Vietnam. Islanders on Phu Quoc, close to the coast of Cambodia, heard a loud bang and saw shards of metal up to 5ft-long raining down on them on Tuesday morning.

Local armed forces and volunteers were mustered to help rescue any survivors, believing there had been a disaster.

Unknown Objects in Photographs from Cambodia

Cambodia-05-15-08-My wife and I were on a visit to Siem Reap, Cambodia, mainly to see the Angkor wat temples. On May 16th, 2008, at 4 PM, we went to the main temple of Angkor wat and were taking pictures right from the entrance. As went inside the main entrance and were walking on the bridge over the lake surrounding the temple complex towards the main central temple, my wife decided to turn backwards and take some pictures of the entrance from behind.

We were totally unaware of any unusual objects in the sky and really didn't see anything out of the ordinary. After we went back to our hotel I was just zooming the pictures on the digital camera to see if can see any more detail than was visible. To my surprise, in two of the pictures taken of the entrance, I could see some bright objects in what seems to be some kind of formation. These were the only pictures we took in that area and direction.

I have attached the two pictures taken within a minute of each other. In the first picture, there are 3 objects and in the second one these objects suddenly appear much farther apart. In fact, if you enlarge the second one more you will see brighter objects. There were clouds in the background. In fact, it rained in the area an hour later. I have zoomed some portions of the first picture for the sake of posting here.

On zooming, I could see the shape of the object better. In fact, there appears to be a faint outer shell and a glow in the centre. There is no graphical manipulation of the pictures whatsoever. I believe they are not stars or anything like that. I would like to know more about these unusual bright blobs. Kindly use them in any way you think fit in order to investigate. Let me tell you that I am a keen follower of unusual physical phenomena but I am rational enough to subject my observations to scientific analysis. For all I know it could be an optical illusion as I am no expert on this subject.

Florida-05-19-08-My wife and I were outside shooting some digital images of the full moon at 11:30 in the evening, using a Canon Powershot 6.0 megapixel with 48x zoom.

I took four successive shots of the moon and this object appeared on the last shot. We were reviewing the images and saw this red 3-dimensional image. The size of this, whatever it is, must be enormous. We went back out and looked again but were unable to see it.

Date: May 2, 2008 Time: Daytime sighting.

I had the urge to take three pictures with my Canon G-9. Weather was nice, with a few high thin clouds. I like to sky watch, looking for strange objects and have seen many, but without my camera. I went out to the deck on the north side of the house but didn't see anything out of the ordinary. I went ahead with taking three random shots, one northeast, one north and back to the northeast for the final shot. Loading on to my computer there appeared three objects, two black triangles and one unknown form. Also barely visible were a number of black dots, two of which were relatively easy to see on the first picture from my northeast position, (the one with Chestnut Oak trees in view). Needless to say, I was shocked to have captured all of these objects in a time period of two minutes.The times on the camera clock were 18:17 and 1818, EDST. I'm having difficulties sending the three pictures and close-ups of all three at one time so I'll have to send each picture separately. Best regards to you and all of your readers.

I worked for the company, Aerials Express, that produced the imagery with the so called “pearl marks” from 2002-2007. The aerial photographs were taken in the winter months, and when the negatives were scanned (on a cool morning back in our office in Phoenix) small drops of condensation had formed on the glass of the scanner. These drops were so small, they went un-detected by the operator. They were on the underside of the glass, and so appear to obscure the photograph.

At one point, I remember the CEO, Bill Lands, joking about them because a program from the Discovery Channel had contacted him directly. He planned on releasing a PR piece with a picture of the scanner, and operator in an alien costume. He had a great sense of humor. Sorry to dispel the myth, just a bit of water under the scanner.”

White Disc-shaped Object Photographed over California

California-05-22-08- A white, disk-shaped object was in one of the frames of the weather cam when I attempted to monitor local cams for the out of control brush fire in the Santa Cruz Mountains today. The resolution is very low on this web cam, and I can't make certain what I am looking at. It could be a piece of cloud that just happened to be disc-shaped.

On a very clear day, a sudden brush fire grows out of control in Santa Cruz Mountains, about 80 miles south of San Francisco. As reported, it started approximately at 5:15 AM. In a matter of few hours, it engulfed over 2000 acres of the mountain ridges. As an astro-photographer, I often check the weather for possible observing night. However, with just a couple days past the Full Moon phase, I was more curious about my friends living locally in Santa Cruz Mountains this time.

So I monitored the news channels until afternoon when I left home. Later in the afternoon, I started checking local news and online webcams for actually seeing how far the fire had progressed. In one of the captured frames of one particluar web cam, I noticed an unusual looking object in the blue and cloudless sky.

It was white as a cloud would be, so it could very well be just "cloud."

However, being such a perfect disc-shape looking, I thought to publicize it, just in case it wasn't some weird looking clouds, in case, others had seen simliar thing.

I saved the image from the online site and refreshed the frame. It was not there anymore. Unfortunately, I didn't refresh immediately to eliminate the cloud possiblities. I was distracted before I noticed any thing on that frame, and it wasn't until about half an hour later that I finally noticed and refreshed to get a new frame. I guess, I would not think of it as a big deal, unless there are other similar local reports.

The resolution is very low, so it is not very possible to magnify much to see any structures. However, when magnified, there is a curious shade on just one side (top-left half) which could also be the CCD artifact of the web cam. But, I would expect to see it symmetrically on the opposite side if that was the case. So... it is open for further investigation and possible other sightings... Pennsylvania-05-29-08-I walked out of the bar to go home, and I looked up and saw three lights in the sky.

Someone said "What's that?"

I said "I don't know."

Several of us stood there and watched it. I kept taking pictures, and other people were taking pictures also.

The lights moved seemingly independent of each other. Two lights faded away and one stayed longer. As the other light was moving away, a small airplane flew into that airspace (so it seemed to me).

After it was over I definitely felt that I had seen something strange.

Kien Giang Province authorities have reported the discovery of metal debris, believed to be fragments from the explosion of an unidentified flying object (UFO), to the central government, an official said Friday.
Lam Quang Chanh, the provincial People’s Committee’s spokesman, told Thanh Nien metal pieces had rained down in Ganh Dau and Cua Can communes on the island of Phu Quoc at about 10:20 a.m. on May 27.

The Military Command of Phu Quoc District said militias and residents had recovered 14 metal pieces allegedly deposited on the island from the explosion.

Rumors in Phu Quoc also suggest that some individuals have retrieved “dollars” or “very cold” metal pieces following the UFO’s explosion.

Nguyen Thanh Banh, Kien Giang police deputy chief, told Thanh Nien anyone found guilty of spreading rumors from the incident that would negatively affect security on the island would be dealt with according to law.

Banh also said the security on Phu Quoc Island has been stable thus far.

When residents found the metal debris on Tuesday, district authorities said they contacted airlines in Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand but did not receive immediate news of any missing aircraft.

Vietnam UFO Crash Metal May Be The Smoking Gun

After a UFO allegedly exploded above Phu Quoc Island off the coast of Vietnam, metal debris was recovered that suggests the object may have been built by extraterrestrials.

According to Officials at the state run Vietnam News Agency, “An unidentified flying object exploded at about 10am on May 27 over the northern part of Phu Quoc Island." Colonel Nguyen Van Qui, a military commander on the island was the source of the report and no civilian, commercial or military aircraft are said to be missing in that area of southern Vietnam or nearby Cambodia.

The object that crashed was first seen in the skies over Cambodia where officials said it appeared as a “fire in the sky.” The thing exploded shortly after that and what was left of it crashed on Phu Quoc Island. Citizens of a commune on the island retrieved a piece of metal from the crash that they described as measuring “one metre by about 60 centimeters.” The metal is unusual looking and appears to have symbols engraved or stamped into it.

Additional pieces of metal were recovered by members of the military and civilians. At this writing, there are fourteen pieces in possession of the Military Command of Phu Quoc District. The metal debris rained down in Ganh Dau and Cua Can communes on Phu Quoc at about 10:20 a.m. on May 27, 2008, according to Lam Quang Chanh, a spokesperson for the provincial People’s Committee.

While it’s entirely possible that the sightings and recovered material may have nothing to do with an Alien Spacecraft, the events surrounding this crash are similar to other incidents involving UFOs. For example, some of the symbols that appear to be engraved or stamped into the metal (if they are genuine) are similar to those described by witnesses on the thing that crashed near Kecksburg, Pennsylvania, in the 1960s. An I-beam from the Roswell UFO Crash in 1947 was also reported to have unknown symbols on it.

Phu Quoc Island is a popular tourist destination located in the Gulf of Thailand. It has thirteen resort areas and several urban centers. The island was once considered a backwater area known primarily for the production of anchovy sauce and black pepper. Once a French territory with rubber and coconut plantations, Phu Quoc Island housed a prisoner of war camp during the Vietnam War. Vietnam and Cambodia struggled over possession of the island for years after the war until it finally became a part of Vietnam in 1975.

UFO crashes are rare events. When they occur in an area of the world that may not be under the control of the usual cover-up suspects, an opportunity presents itself for the nation and people involved to share what has happened with the world. Vietnam is a Communist country with close ties to China, so there still may be a tight lid clamped on this event at some point. If that doesn’t occur, we may have a chance to see the smoking gun that proves intelligent Alien life forms exist and are visiting the Earth.

Outside waiting for a friend to pick me up and I noticed this strange object in the sky. This happened last Saturday, 05-24-08, at my apartment, I barely had time to get my camera before it flew off.

Were there any other reports of UFOs that night in the Los Angeles area?

WTH..? this is pretty out of the ordinary:eek: My first though is some kind of CG-fake but at the end the environments are filmed too and that gives a pretty good indication it's not computer-generated-imagery.
maybe it could be a mix, there was a sudden change in movements and there the garden was being flmed..

Description: I live in McIntosh NM. That's about 15-20 north of where the object was sighted over the fire area. That evening I went out to see if I could see the glow of the fire and see if it was getting any worse. I was looking up at the stars and noticed that one of them was flashing alot, and very colorfully, thought maybe a helicopter, until it moved very quickly about an 1" in the sky, at that point I went for my camera, it's only a 5 megapixal with a 3x zoom. I zoomed all out, and set the camera on the moon light setting and set the camera on the car roof to steady it. I centered the object in the middle of the screen and started shooting.

I watched it for at least another 45 minutes. It didn't move during that time. I was getting cold and went inside to see what I might have. Only one of maybe a 100 shots came out, and it was a really good one I think. You can see for yourself. I did report it to MUFON, but they haven't even posted on the sightings on the web, why I don't know, so until it is recognized for what it is a UFO, I'm not going to stop trying to let it be known that there is a totally new UFO out there. Don Burleson, was baffled by it, puzzled, and not a clue what it might be, except that it was an "Unidentified Ariel Vehicle" and Metallic. Here you are what do you think?

June 6, 2008 Needles, California - On Wednesday, May 14, 2008, at 3 AM Pacific south of Needles, California, on the Colorado River near Topock, Arizona, a long-time houseboat resident was stunned to see a large, bright “fiery object” hurtling from the sky toward him. From the upper deck on his houseboat, “R. B.” was puzzled by the vivid turquoise-blue with touches of green he was seeing instead of reds, yellows and oranges in more normal fire. Despite the strange blue-green color, Ted thought perhaps he was watching a plane about to crash.

Ted did not know there was another eyewitness - Frank Costigan, retired former Superintendent of Operations and Police Chief at Los Angeles International Airport from 1978 to 1985 and Superintendent of Operations at Ontario International Airport in California from 1985 to 1986. Recently Frank Costigan has been doing special news investigations and reports for KTOX AM 1340 Radio in Needles, California.

At 3 AM on May 14, 2008, Frank had gotten up to let his Siamese cat out and went outside to look at the clear night sky. His home is about three miles east of the Colorado River. To his surprise, a large, bright object of many colors dominated by turquoise blue with some green was streaking through the sky toward the Colorado River area. Frank could also see some red and yellow colors like flames and expected to hear the huge boom of a crash impact.

“I thought I might hear something when it hit the ground because if it was as close as I thought it was and as big as it was, I thought I would hear something. But I did not hear anything. And it went out of my view before it hit the ground.”

But over on the Colorado River, R. B. was only about 400 yards from where the fiery turquoise-blue object hit the ground on the west side of the river. R. B. has requested anonymity because he’s afraid the U. S. government hurts people who report UFOs. He did not even want his voice recorded. R. B. has lived in a houseboat on the Colorado River for thirty some years. He was outside at 3 AM fishing when he saw the brilliant, turquoise-blue flaming object. When it hit the ground about 100 yards west of the river, he saw the whole thing bounce back up in the air with even more glowing red-yellow pieces around the big center object. And yet, he did not hear the crash sound he expected. “There was only a thump sound,” he told me.

But he was afraid that some kind of plane had crashed and urgently went down to the lower deck of his houseboat to get his cell phone and climbed back up to the top deck to get a satellite signal for his phone. When he had a signal, he kept dialing 911, but only got a busy signal. All of this took about seven minutes after the crash. Then to his complete amazement, John Smith heard the loud sound of a sky-hook, or skycrane, helicopter coming fast in the night sky. The next thing he knew, the still-glowing object was hooked underneath the skycrane and carried away rapidly.

I asked R. B. how big he thought the glowing object was? He said it was about the size of a 10,000-gallon tank truck – big and oval-shaped.

After the sun came up, David Hayes, the Owner and General Manager of KTOX AM 1340, was driving to work along I-40 in Needles, when he saw very unusual vehicles traveling together with black and white U. S. government license plates.

I took them on November 12, 2007 at about 5:43 a.m. I couldn't sleep, so I looked into the sky and saw what looked like a flying man with wings coming so fast towards me, it scared the life out of me. Photograph Taken During Winnipeg Storm Shows Unknown, Glowing Object

Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada-End of May, 2008-When I took this photograph when it was raining. I had gotten off work at 10:35 PM, and a storm had come into the city. As I drove home, there was a lot of lightning and wind.

I parked my car in the garage. Everything got real bright for about 2 seconds, like something passed over my garage. I took out my camera and took some pictures. There was still a lot of lightning. I got something unusual on photograph DSC4671. I just took the shot, and didn't actually see the object in the frame. I noticed it later.

I don't know if anyone else saw the object in the picture, but someone where I work says that she saw a very similar object about a week earlier. Greetings from Winnipeg, and thank you for your time.

BUCHAREST, Romania, June 6 (UPI) -- The Romanian Defense Ministry has confirmed that a fighter plane was struck by four unidentified flying objects and released a video of the incident.

The ministry said the MIG 21 Lancer fighter plane was struck by the objects during an Oct. 31, 2007, check flight but was able to land safely, Hotnews.ro reported Friday.

Lt. Col. Nicolae Grigorie said a video recorded by cameras onboard the plane depicts "two solid bodies, which are not translucid."

Grigorie said authorities are working to determine what the objects could have been.

"They couldn't be birds because there are no birds in Europe able to fly so high. And they couldn't be ice bodies because it was a clear sky -- neither could they be pieces of another plane or a meteor," he said.

He said the government has ruled out rocket launches and ground artillery fires as causes of the incident.

On May 8th, 2008 around 1:30 pm approx. 13.3 miles into Mt. Rainier State Park on a roadside pull-out. Me and about 8 other people saw two bright shining objects in the overcast skies above a hill top. I was only able to get one picture, but it is a good one, before the two objects shot straight up and puff…they disappeared into the clouds. Our lives will never be the same after that afternoon. I now believe. We are not alone.

Second Report

UFO had a mid-air collision with a fighter jet over central Europe, a leaked report has revealed.

Defence chiefs are investigating claims that the Romanian MIG 21 fighter plane was struck by 'strange objects'.

The official report says the cockpit of the jet was shattered. (see video below)

Romanian defence ministry officials have ruled out all normal types of collision such as birdstrikes, ice or small meteorites.

Chief investigator Commander Nicolae Grigorie said in the report: 'We can definitely say what this thing was not, but we cannot say what it was.'

The impact on a training flight above Transylvania took only 67 milliseconds and was recorded on an in-flight video camera.

Pilot Marin Mitrica was slightly injured but managed to land the plane safely after the incident last year.

Baffled defence chiefs have now passed the UFO incident on to the Security Committee of European Air Forces for investigation.

Brian, I was out taking some pictures the other day when an object ascended to the west of my position. This object moved upward at the speed of a prop plane until it vanished from sight.This happened on 6/6/2008 at 7:26pm in Satsuma, Alabama. In the first 4 pictures the sun is reflecting off the object making it hard to see any detail. However in the 5th and 6th pictures the reflection is gone and more detail can be seen. The sighting lasted 1 minute.

UFO mystery deepens with more sightings

SOUTHAMPTON'S UFO mystery continued yesterday as yet more evidence emerged of weird triangle and cubeshaped objects stalking our skies.

Since the Daily Echo reported on the mystery this week, another three readers have come forward with footage and photographs of UFOs hovering above Shirley and Millbrook.

The latest footage was captured by Dilys Bartlett and her family as they sat in the backyard of their Shirley home on Sunday, June 1.

"We looked up into the sky and there it was - a black triangle,"

Mrs Bartlett said.

"It did not seem to be moving left or right, it just drifted up into the clouds before disappearing."

Mrs Bartlett said she had no idea what the mystery object was, but said it could not be a kite as there was absolutely no wind that day. Another reader, Leonard Cattley, spotted a similar UFO on the same day and said: "It was hovering for at least 15 minutes so we got a very good look at it, if it was a kite it would have been huge.

"It looked very much like a hovering stealth fighter but it made no noise, having worked at Heathrow Airport and lived at Farnborough in my time, I am no stranger to aircraft but this object looked liked nothing I have seen before."

A strikingly similar UFO was photographed by reader Rob Baker from his backyard in Regent's Park three weeks ago.

"We were out in the garden when my oldest son pointed it out.

It was a long way away so I got my camera out to zoom in on it," he said. "From the zoomed image it looks like a powered hang glider.

It was more of a square shape than a triangle and there was a dull humming sound, but I cannot be sure that wasn't coming from the road."

The X-Files-style mystery has left UFO enthusiasts baffled and an investigation was even launched by Southampton Airport after a worried member of the public alerted bosses.

Possible explanations include Chinese lanterns, microlights, model aircrafts, kites or even a secret military project.

Recruitment consultant Gavin Chapman also came forward with another mysterious photograph, which he took in the city last summer.

"I was taking a photograph of a rainbow at the time, but I didn't notice there was also an object in the picture," he said.

"Then, about three weeks ago, I was deleting pictures from my mobile phone when I spotted it.

After reading about the other recent UFO sightings on the Echo website I decided to send it in because I hope somebody can tell me what it is."

Mr Chapman added: "If you zoom in you can see that there are clearly three corners of a triangle. I honestly don't know what it is. I suppose it could be a helicopter or maybe just dirt on the lens.

"I believe there is something out there. There has to be, but whether this is it, I don't know."

UFO Videotaped from Plane over Ocean

(Editor's Note: In researching the geography of this report, I immediately noticed there is no "Serbia Sea," but those are the exact words used in the original report. More than likely, the reporter/photographer is referring to the Black Sea, and those who live in the area may call it the "Serbia Sea."

10-16-08-Couple was traveling to Crete on a jetliner over the Serbia area.

My wife noticed a silvery, white triangular object with no lights or vapor trail that was below and to the left of our window. We were traveling in a jetliner above the cloud line, so we were higher and progressing somewhat faster. My wife was so curious she brought my attention to the object. In some ways it resembled the top of a giant hang glider canopy, but I knew that it was just impossible for anyone to be at that height on a thing that size.

I had my Samsung digital camera, so I put it in video mode and shot what I could over her position. I was in the isle seat, she in the window seat. The camera will not process sound when being zoomed so that accounts for the whoosh in out sound when zooming.

The object went out of view as we passed over it and the last part of the video shows this. It was a large silvery, white triangular object as you can see, and it remains a complete mystery to us.

I posted the video on some video channels such as youtube, liveleak, and veoh. But, on youtube I just got the most silly or downright libelous comments made, and on Veoh one download I believe, so I removed it from all of them due to exasperation. I am passing the video on to you with your much greater experience and scientific assessment facilities.

The UFO attacked the FBI building just a few minutes ago.

I was trying to catch some kids who keep on breaking into cars in our parking lot and actually caught this. We don't have cameras planted that far back in the parking lot where the kids have been stealing, so I put one in my car.

We just had some Agents come here and look at our surveillance tapes from the inside of the theatre. I wanted to post this before I hand it in to them.

There are fire trucks and police cars all over in their parking lot. And they shut my AMC theatre down, "For Safety Reasons" This happened about 20 minutes ago, 9:40PM. They were talking about shutting down I35 right outside the building.

I am completely freaked out.

UFO Photographed over Truth or Consequences, New Mexico

New Mexico-05-31-08-My son, his friend, and I were returning from a trip to Bahia Kino, Mexico and were intending to stop and camp in Truth or Consequences. My son noticed this bright light, and pointed it out to me. I told him to grab the binoculars and look at it because it was not a star.

He told me that it was a cone with lights on the corners. We were about 10 minutes out of Truth or Consequences, so I immediately pulled over and began taking pictures with my Nikon 200mm. The object was north of us close to where we were going to camp so we headed towards it.

About 5 minutes south of town, my son told me it was turning red and beginning to move. I stopped the VW camper and had time to take one picture during the red shift just before it vanished. I did not see it leave as I was trying to get a another shot.

Editor's Note: This object could very well be a balloon, with the white and red colors being from reflected light.

Unknown Object Captured on Photograph from Kaliakra, Bulgaria

I was taking pictures of wind generators in Kaliakra, Bulgaria, during a small vacation with friends. The objects that appear in the photos were not seen at the moment of photographing the wind generators.

I observed the objects in the moment that I downloaded the pictures to my computer and start zooming. Please advise your opinion in this subject.

Photograph taken on flight over Cyprus shows UFO

I was checking out some photos I took during my flight from Rome to Amman, on the 30th of January 2008. I didn't recognize any strange object while I was aboard, but just yesterday I discovered something unusual in one of the pictures I had taken.

The sighting was around over Cyprus-16:48 local time of Italy, on the 30th of January 2008. The shape of the UFO was classic (low edges and domed center), far from the plane, reflecting the orange setting sun rays. Although I was in the plane while I was taking my photos, I didn't even see it with my own eyes. I didn't feel any strange thing. I have three pictures taken at the time, and on one of them you can see the UFO.

STUNNED police gave chase to a UFO after it attacked their helicopter near a military base.

The mystery aircraft zoomed straight at the chopper as the three-man cop crew prepared to land.

The pilot banked sharply to avoid being hit, then launched into a high-speed pursuit. But he was forced to give up the chase as the helicopter’s fuel ran low – and the UFO escaped.

All three crew described the object as “flying saucer-shaped” and circled by flashing lights. They reported it to senior officers, who passed on the report to Britain’s UFO investigators.

The incident happened as the helicopter was returning to the MoD’s St Athan base near Cardiff, where it is stationed.

The chopper was at 500ft and waiting to land when the crew saw the UFO speeding towards them from below.

A source said: “It closed in at great speed, aiming straight at the helicopter.

“The chopper had to swerve sharply to avoid being hit. The guys said if they’d stayed where they were, they’d be dead – it would’ve been a direct hit.

“They are convinced it was a UFO. It sounds far-fetched, but they know what they saw.

“These guys are hardened professionals and know people will take the mickey, but they are certain they saw a UFO.”

The source added: “After the near-collision they decided to follow it to find out what the hell it was. They belted across the Bristol Channel in pursuit, but it was too quick. They got to the North Devon coast and had to turn back because they were running low on fuel.”

The chopper is crammed with hi-tech cameras and surveillance gear, but the UFO somehow avoided being caught on film.

Strangely, the crew could not see the craft with night-vision goggles – but all said it was “clearly visible” to the naked eye on the night of June 7.

South Wales Police said last night: “We can confirm the Air Support Unit sighted an unusual aircraft. This was reported to the relevant authorities for their investigation.”

The MoD, which usually investigates UFO sightings, said: “We’ve heard nothing about this. But it is certainly not advisable for police helicopters to go chasing what they think are UFOs.”

A police helicopter crew has spotted what is described as an unusual aircraft in the Vale of Glamorgan.

The helicopter was above St Athan, which is home to an RAF base and close to Cardiff International Airport.

But three-man crew could not capture any images before the object vanished over the Bristol Channel on 8 June.

South Wales Police said the helicopter did not give chase and described the crew as very experienced. The sighting has been reported for investigation.

The police Eurocopter, an EC135T21, was hovering in the sky at 1240BST above the base, waiting to land.

A police spokesperson said: "The crew are very experienced and responded in a professional manner in relation to what they saw.

"In today's skies, there are a wide variety of aircrafts which come in a range of different shapes and sizes and in all probability, this sighting has just confirmed that one of these was in the area at the relevant time," the spokesperson added.

A Ministry of Defence spokesperson said it had heard nothing about the incident.

"But it is certainly not advisable for police helicopters to go chasing what they think are UFOs," the spokesperson said.

Cardiff International Airport said air traffic control provided a service to the police helicopter to ensure it had appropriate air space, including allowing it space to return to RAF St Athan to refuel.

Author Richard Foxhall who lives in the Nantlle Valley, Gwynedd has written a book about his experience of seeing a UFO in 1996.

Mr Foxhall has called for the report into the Vale of Glamorgan sighting to be made open to the public.

"The helicopter crew, who are experienced, saw something which was in the air space around Cardiff International Airport and St Athan's air base.

"It this was Heathrow - there would be an inquiry," he added.

Mr Foxhall said he saw a low flying object over Tal-y-Mignedd in Snowdonia over the May bank holiday weekend, 12 years ago.

He was returning home at around 2030 and saw an object similar to "nothing he had seen before".

Mr Foxhall contacted all local airports, RAF Valley and checked with the authorities and found no flight records had been logged.

All were recorded on official forms, held by air bases and police stations, and compiled by the Ministry of Defence between 1978 and 2002.

Photograph Taken of Luminous Object over Portugal

Today, on June 6, 2008, at 5:10 AM, I saw a luminous object in the sky. There were two points of light in the sky, with both having the same route. There was about 15 seconds between their appearance in the sky. While following the first object or light, I then noticed a second, similar object. They were moving from north to south.

I thought they may have been satellites, so I checked with Orbitron to find out. But, there should not have been any in that part of the sky at that time. The objects gave the impression of being at a great altitude, and far superior to any plane as to speed. I managed to take a photograph of one of them.

UFO 'Flap' over Kaufman, East Texas

We must be having a little flap here because I'm sure catching quite a few unknowns here in Kaufman, Texas, in the last month. This one was photographed on 06-07-2008 at 1:27 PM. These clouds are huge and if these objects are anywhere close to them, they are a lot larger than the jets flying here.

I thought this one looked pretty good whatever it is. See what you think about it and by the way there's another one at the top of the original photo.

Here's another something I caught on the 7th that the black area appears to be forming a disc shape similar to the last one you posted. Of course it could be anything I guess. It's something to ponder anyway. Take care my friend...

Photograph of San Fernando Valley Fire Shows Unknown Object

California-09-29-05-While standing on a bluff in the Porter Ranch section of the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles at about 1300 hours, I photographed a branch of a major fire. The digital photos covered a section of the San Fernando Valley/Santa Clarita Pass area, which remained on fire and had significant smoke above it.

Shortly thereafter, while viewing the downloaded files on my computer, I noticed a speck in the sky portion on one photo. I zoomed in on the speck and found a "saucer" shaped item in the sky. I cannot determine the nature of the object represented by that speck, which appears to be "saucer shaped." It had no tail, and no rotor. I did not notice or see this apparition when viewing the scene through my camera.

Even more mind-boggling, is that the enlargement of this aerial oddity reveals obvious pitting or crater-like marks which can be seen on it's surface. As described, the 'thing' was not seen whilst on location, but was picked up by digital camera...what does this very important fact alone tell us?

I believe that such is the clarity of this picture, we could be a step nearer as to the true nature of some UFOs...and here I speculate. As we know there are many varieties of UFO, and not all of them might be piloted craft. As well as visitation by alien 'nuts and bolts' ships, earth may be also visited by different species of living, multi-dimensional entities (or sky creatures as some have called them), appearing from another realm, vibration or spectrum, as this one seems to be.

10:20 AM 6/23/2008-A HEATED debate has developed after a man claimed he had taken a photograph of an unidentified flying object on Saturday in Chongqing, Xinhuanet.com reported today.

He Zhongyuan claimed that a huge, oval-shaped UFO was flying in the sky that night, the report said. He said he was at Chaotianmen Square and shot the picture at about 8:47pm.

The UFO was green and yellow color, according to the report. It was bigger than half a football field, and had many holes like doors and windows, according to the report.

Chaotianmen Square had a laser light show from 8:40pm to 9pm that night, the city's lighting authority said.

Wu Zhilun, chairman of the Chongqing Astronomy Association, examined the UFO pictures and said it was probably an illusion. Wu told Xinhuanet that it was difficult to determine if the photo was related to extraterrestrials.

He said he used a Sony F717 camera to take the photos.

"I took pictures at Chaotianmen Square for about one hour and didn't feel anything special,'' He told Xinhuanet.com. He spotted the UFO in four photos later that night when he went home. He showed Xinhuanet all 84 photos he took on Saturday.

Shanghai UFO Research Center confirmed the pictures were not altered. The director of the center said a team will begin to examine the photos to determine if the UFO is genuine, the report said.

Two Reports; South Dakota, unknown objects

First Report

While on a vacation trip to South Dakota, I took this picture. I did not see the object until I downloaded to my computer. The photo was taken from Rim Road in the Bad Lands Park. The direction is generally south. The time was 11:11 AM, on 5/18/2008. The full frame has been reduced for email use, but otherwise has no processing.

The crop is at full definition with no compression over the original. The camera was hand held, but as you can see there is no blurring due to camera movement on the scenery. I also had the image stabilization on. A second picture was taken nine seconds later and the object was not there.

The lens setting was 17 mm. This is the equivalent of 28 mm on a 35 mm camera. The object must be either large or close to the camera. It appears to have some motion blurring which means it is going very fast as the shutter speed of 1/200 will stop any aircraft not very close. As you know the speed of the image on the sensor plane, not the object speed, is what counts.

Second Report

I was shooting scenic pictures at the Bad Lands in South Dakota on May 18, 2008. Many of these pictures were taken using automatic bracketing. Three exposures are taken with different exposures. Since the Canon Digital Rebel Xt shoots at three frames a second a series takes only a second to shoot.

While processing these, I found a three-frame series of an unknown object which must be going quite fast. The first frame was taken at 11:38:07 at 1/200 of a second. The second frame was also at 1/200 of a second and the third was at 1/125. This may account for a longer appearance of the last picture.

on this shot my partner and I was in the back yard looking at clouds and she told me to 'just take the shot' as I couldn't see anything, I did, thinking she just liked the clouds at the time... it's not much... just a dot, but she claims it was a lot closer and it took me so long to get it...it ended up in the top middle and you can't see unless you make it full size..

Photograph of Unknown Object from Oland, Sweden

I am sending you a photograph of a UFO I saw at 20:15 (CEST) on June 14, 2008, from Oland, Sweden. There were some scattered clouds, but overall it was a nice evening. As you can see, the object had a cylindrical shape and the colour was metallic. It moved at a constant speed and disappeared after about 30 seconds...

I used my Sony Ericsson K8010i and took one picture of the object. I then ran for my digital camera, but by the times I got it, the object was lost. I don't think it's a airplane because airplanes usually fly over here, and it didn't look like an airplane.

Unknown Object in Photograph of Funnel Cloud in Oklahoma

Oklahoma-06-05-08-It was evening time on June 5, 2008, and my friend and I were driving back home from Ohio to Arizona. We ran into some nasty weather in Oklahoma, probably an hour or two out of Oklahoma City.

At one point it seemed a funnel/tornado was forming, so we used a cell phone to take a picture of it. Once we looked at the photo on the phone later, we noticed a disc-like object hovering in the sky.

I thought it could be a scratch or something, but when I zoomed in, it looked like something in the sky. My friend and I have been showing everyone this photo as we are curious as to what it is. The first photo is the orignal photo, and the second one I cropped around the object so you can see it better.

I would like to report a UFO sighting over Vancouver, B.C. At around 5:45 pm, June 22, 2008 I watched and filmed a spherical object through my camcorder. The following 6 photos are still frames from the footage. Although the object was very far away I managed to catch it a few times at the 200X digital zoom.

By the way Brian, this email is from Les Murzsa. We have spoken on the phone before and I have sent you a couple of DVD compilations of my footage and photos. My sightings are continuing and I just bought a HD camcorder so hopefully I will catch some better pictures soon.

Last night(6-19-08) I went down to the bay here in Mobile, Alabama to try my luck at obtaining a decent moon picture. The moonrise was quite stunning and I was able to get the picture that I wanted. After taking several pictures the moon began to loose its red/orange color so I changed locations to a new spot just down the road. At this point I decided to take several shots of the I-10 interstate bridge along with the moon. After returning home I found something strange in the two bridge/moon pictures. An object appears just above the interstate bridge in both pictures. It appears to be moving slowly as these are long exposures and the distance traveled by the cars on the bridge can be seen by the streaking red taillights.

I saw no aircraft anywhere near this location at the time the photos were taken. I did not see the object either. The time was 8:45pm on 6/19/09.I'm including 3 pictures below. The first is just that "Moon" picture that I was out to get in the first place. I include this just for your viewing pleasure The last two pictures are the ones containing the actual unknown object.The timestamp on the two pictures is 8:45:09 and 8:45:42 so there is a 33 second difference between the two pictures. The exposure length on the two pictures is 10 seconds and 6 seconds. This object appears to be just sitting over the interstate given the length of time and the short distance traveled. "Take note of something else odd".I almost missed this!

In the first object picture look at the street lamp just to the right of the object. It is not lit. However the next one to the right is lit.Now look at the second object picture. Now that the object is close to that "second lamp to the right" it is no longer lit! I noticed this while writing this e-mail so now I will include two more close-up pictures showing this.

This is quite strange. Is this object effecting electrical devices around it?

7 UFO's Over Liverpool, -UK (video)

A Liverpool man claims to have seen several UFOs hovering in the sky around the city and filmed them on his phone.

Vince Pybis said he saw a light above the bushes in Sefton Park and got his phone to film it, by which time six more had appeared.

Callers into BBC Radio Merseyside's also said they saw the lights in the Knotty Ash and Prescot areas.

Merseyside Police said they were not worried and no-one called the control room about the sightings.

But Mr Pybis said: "I'm a sceptic, I didn't believe in UFOs. But until you've actually seen one - well I saw seven - then I thought, they are out there."

Last month declassified government files revealed a letter sent to a secret agent from a man in Wirral claiming he had been in physical and psychic contact with an extra terrestrial called Algar.

He wrote: "I have had a relationship with Algar since 1958 and it continued until 1981 when he was killed by another race of beings."

Sceptics suggest aircraft or unusual weather phenomenon could be behind the sightings .

According to his eyewitness account, it was taken during the preparation of the Los Voladores de Papantla ritual in front of the San Marcos Church. The date was April 30, 2008, the time 12:35 hrs., and a DSC P-43 Sony camera was used.

A SHAKEN soldier told last night how he saw THIRTEEN UFOs spinning in the skies above his military barracks. Corporal Mark Proctor was among three squaddies who spotted the objects while out on night patrol.

this statement "This group is well known for attacking all other researchers, contactees", should tell you a lot about them. I agree... this is what happens when businessmen attempt to take over free information and research findings...they've got books to sell and money to make. I find it equally disturbing at this current time, all of a sudden, many people usually known for ridiculing are suddenly believers like some type of 'infiltration' {<< seems to be a keyword this year} I may be slightly paranoid, but It does make you feel something extra is happening, rather than loads of added reports which is what you would expect from many civilians..we just get 'official' people with amazing stories.

this to me is one way of getting civilians back into trusting the military so we can have uniforms walking the streets and not bat an eyelid... make us 'feel' safe from a threat they created. Once they are expected to be on the streets all the time, the threat will die off and another will arrive... seems like Davids Problem, reaction, Solution to me...

9ish pm, June 24th Vernon, Western Sky, taken from 30th Ave. A Ankh shaped UFO. It was not seen with the naked eye, and is definitely not a plane, or bird. I was taking the picture in hopes of getting one of the many early evening orbs I have caught on camera. When I viewed the picture I realize that I didn't catch an orb, but an X, a Cross, or an Ankh shaped UFO. I was amazing considering that there was nothing in the sky at the time of the picture. Here's the photo, and my blow up of the UFO.

Flying saucer photographed over Harbin City, China! Death Ray does not destroy city.

A Chinese company has invented a remote control flying saucer that can hover in the sky at heights of up to 3,200ft.

The 4ft-diameter craft has been flown successfully in the skies above Harbin City in China’s Heilongjiang Province.

It is designed to monitor forest fires and manage high rise building rescues from above, flying for up to 40 minutes at speeds of up to 50mph.

The Harbin Smart Special Aerocraft Company spent more than £2million and 12 years developing the prototype. Its intended uses include aerial photography, geological surveys and emergency lighting.

A small number of the aircraft will be available to buy in September, at a price still to be determined. The unmanned disc is driven by a propeller and can be controlled remotely or sent on a preset flight path.

REMARKABLE new evidence of UFOs in the skies over Hampshire can be revealed today.

Daily Echo readers captured these bizarre images of what appear to be flying saucers zooming through our skies.

The UFOs were snapped over Beaulieu and Woolston by pure accident and only noticed days later by the photographers.

Hampshire has been in the grip of an X Files-style UFO mystery after black triangles were seen flying over Millbrook and Shirley in recent months.

Last week the Echo thought it had explained the phenomenon-a mini-hot air balloon made out of four black bin bags. But the latest sightings are clearly something completely different-and remain a mystery.

ALIEN hunter Russ Kellett yesterday revealed a lump of mystery metal which he says was recovered from a crashed UFO 34 years ago.

The shiny one-and-a-half inch melted blob was found near Llandrillo in Berwyn Mountains, Wales, after reports of a spaceship plunging to earth.

Russ says it is similar to melted aluminium, yet heavier.

Police logs described a “terrific explosion” shaking houses on January 23, 1974, and locals said hundreds of cops and military personnel ordered everyone off the mountain.

It has been claimed that alien spacemen were whisked off to a secret military installation – all hushed up by the Government.

Former building worker Russ said: “That and this piece of metal from the spaceship proves in my mind the existence of aliens.

“The metal was picked up by someone who was on the mountain at the time. They have since died and it was passed to me about a year ago.

“I passed it to a jeweller who showed it to an expert but they have no idea what it is.”

Russ 45, of Filey, North Yorks, has amassed more than 30 years of data about flying saucers – but only unveiled the shiny metal after reading recent UFO reports in The Sun.

We told of three sightings in five days earlier this month – in Shropshire, near Cardiff and over the Brecon Beacons.

Russ, who started studying UFOs after being surrounded by inexplicable lights while on a motorbike in 1988, said: “None of these incidents surprise me.

FAMILIES last night claimed they watched in awe as a dozen glowing orange objects buzzed Basingstoke.

In the latest UFO riddle to grip Britain, witnesses say the “alien” fleet hovered above the Hampshire town for half an hour – changing formation before their eyes.

Dad-of-two David Osborne, 47 – who captured the unearthly phenomenon on video – said yesterday: “My adrenaline was pumping and I was trembling all over.

“I’ve never seen anything like it. It was amazing.”

David, an amateur astronomer, yelled to his daughters to grab his camera after he phoned nearby RAF Odiham and was told officials could not comment “for security reasons”.

The family had just settled down to watch alien invasion movie Independence Day when the objects were spotted at 10.40pm on Saturday.

The “craft” drifted across the sky, switching from a delta formation, to a random pattern, then an arched line and a triangle before disappearing.

David, whose daughters Natalie, 20, and Charlotte, 18, were also left awestruck, said: “There were about 12 of these orange-coloured spherical objects. I thought, ‘Oh my God – what the hell is that?’ They were changing formation in the sky for half an hour.

“They weren’t moving fast enough for a satellite and were hovering, not being blown about by the wind.”

Student Natalie said: “Chinook helicopters regularly fly over – but these were silent. It’s scary.”

Neighbour Debbie Bucksey, 46, said: “I thought they might be fireworks but then the lights started switching formation.” Daughter Rachel, 16, described the UFOs as looking like “upside down tears”.

Trucker Reg Lockyer, 47, claimed he saw up to TWENTY of them. He added: “I thought it was absolutely a fleet of UFOs.”

Thanks for your generosity dd ;) It's hard to make a decision on that report, I'm sure there are also some hoaxers with their own experiments trying to get media-attenion in this UFO fever. At night the effects are more convincing too. But anyway I'm open for this one.
What does these formations indicate? Anyone knows? If not the pattern isn't really too convincing. Would love too see more footage of this.

Glowing UFO spotted over Weston-super-Mare, Somerset -UK

A Royal Navy aircraft engineer claims to have seen a "glowing" UFO hover over the M5 motorway.

Michael Madden, 25, said he watched in disbelief as the disc-shaped object floated above his head before it "zoomed off at incredible speed".

He said the unidentified flying object flew for up to three minutes above junction 21 of the M5, near Weston-super-Mare, Somerset.

Mr Madden was on his way back from Manchester with colleague Michael Casson, 22, at 9.50pm on Sunday June 29 when he saw the suspected 'extra-terrestrial' craft.

He said: "I work with aircraft and grew up next to Manchester Airport so I know exactly what a plane looks and sounds like. This was definitely not a plane.

"It was a circular disc which was glowing bright, hovering hundreds of metres up.

"Other people must have spotted it. It was unlike anything I've ever seen in my life. It really did look like the alien aircraft in films. It had an antenna fixed to the back."

Mr Madden's claim follows a string of recent UFO "sightings".

On June 7 three soldiers said they saw 13 UFOs, which looked like "rotating cubes", while on night patrol at Tern Hill military barracks near Market Drayton, Shropshire. May 6th, 2007, 4.30 p.m.-- A small blue object shot across the sky above my wife and I [Harringdon Road, Bedford, Beds. England]. It was umbrella in shape with a hanging metal ball beneath its base. It was not balloons nor any type of man made aircraft I can think off. I took around 15 photos on my digital. It moved very fast into the wind and did not flutter nor deviate from its course. As a keen skywatcher I have been lucky enough to capture a few UFOs on film which I shall dig out and share with you all in the coming weeks.

IT is the X-Files-style mystery that has been puzzling people for months.

What were the strange black triangles spotted flying silently over Southampton landmarks?

Caught on video three times in the past few weeks, it caused a buzz among UFO enthusiasts from across the country who have described it as the best they had seen for some time.

It even sparked an investigation by Southampton Airport after a report from a worried member of the public.

Thousands of readers logged onto the Daily Echo website to watch the slow moving objects twist and spin over Millbrook, Shirley and the docks.

Now we can reveal what we think was behind the phenomenon: A solar balloon.

The mini-hot air balloon can be made with just four black bin bags, sticky tape, scissors and a hairdryer.

Mix those ingredients with a warm, sunny day and you have a black triangular balloon which could easily be mistaken for one of the UFOs which have been spotted over the city.

Unfortunately, the Daily Echo's launch attempt yesterday was not too successful - an unseasonably cool and cloudy summer afternoon meant our solar balloon lifted only a few metres before crashing back to Earth.

However, Michael Lowe - organiser of this weekend's Southampton Kite Festival - agreed with the findings of our investigation.

"My opinion is that this is neither a kite or a UFO,"he said.

"I think that someone, somewhere has made up a large black plastic square-shaped balloon that is inflated by the action of the sun on the trapped air inside and let it go."

"The minimal weight of any tether line - which you would not be able to see by eye at altitude - would keep it stable, allowing it to float away on the slightest of breezes.

"These are different at different heights so even if you could feel no air movement at ground level, there could be movement at a higher level.

"You often see the long tubular types of this for sale, easy to make and cheap.

I really think that this was just a variation on that theme.

"There might even be something similar at the Kite Festival this coming weekend, you never know."

Freemantle resident Gary Moore contacted the Daily Echo to say he had a similar triangular balloon fly over his garden recently.

"It came right down over our roof, my wife spotted it out the window," he said.

"It was made out of a type of vinyl material and it was covered in dirt and mould. I would love it to be a UFO because I am a believer, but what I saw was not a UFO."

At about 11:15 p.m. Wednesday, Charles Marcum and his girlfriend were on the balcony of their condominium in Pasadena when they saw a round, fiery object traveling slowly across the sky.

"She turned the same time I did and I said, 'What the heck is that?'" Marcum said. "It looked like a fireball."

Marcum scurried to the bedroom to get a camcorder and started taping the object. It traversed the horizon in a direction that appeared to be north to south, and was at the point of disappearing when another one appeared from the north, Marcum said.

As he did the first, Marcum followed the object with his electronic eye, and was about to turn the machine off when it, too, was about to vanish. Then a third one appeared, he said.

"I noticed something strange," Marcum said. "They were all spaced at about the same space between each other, at the same altitude, and were traveling at the same trajectory and speed."

"I'm almost 64 and I've never seen that," he said. "I thought it was man-made because it was following a pattern."

Authorities had no explanation for the objects, however.

"We can't speculate as to what they were," said Lt. Rebecca Heyse, spokeswoman for MacDill Air Force Base. All of the base's aircraft has been accounted for and they are all on the ground before 11 p.m., she said.

Marcum is curious as to why no one else has reportedly seen the objects.

"I am absolutely floored that the phones weren't ringing off the hook at the police department and fire department and so forth," Marcum said. "I can't believe it. It was a nice clear night, a full moon and no wind."

A dispatcher who worked Wednesday night said there were no reports on the objects that came into the county dispatch system.

Strange Light Formations Photographed in Pennsylvania

Pennsylvania-06-23-08-After taking pictures of "weird" cloud formations and lights in the night sky, the witness downoaded the digital photos to her laptop, and saw the unusual "vortexes."

The vortexes appear to be hovering in the skies. The witness had a feeling of elation and obsession while watching the sky due to several encounters and/or observations with the strange clouds, and lights. Also, black helicopters were seen.

In time, the vortexes moved away.

A YOUNG couple have told how they spotted "a UFO" hovering in the Coventry night sky.

Kieran Smith and girlfriend Sophia Whelan were amazed when they noticed a spooky triangle of lights moving above them in Coundon.

Kieran, aged 17, recorded their close encounter in Barkers Butts Lane using the video on his mobile phone.

They made the discovery on Wednesday, June 11, at about 9.45pm.

The pair have both been sceptical about unidentified flying objects in the past, but that has all changed after that evening's experience.

Kieran, of Clovelly Road, Wyken, said: "I was amazed, completely shocked by what we saw. We just couldn't explain it.

"If anyone had told me that they had seen something which resembled a UFO, I wouldn't have believed them, but now that has changed.

"We just stood there staring at it. There were three bright lights in a triangle shape. They then moved and formed a perfect line. It was incredible."

The lights stayed in the sky for almost four minutes and the pair watched until they suddenly disappeared.

The couple are putting the images on to the internet in case anyone else in Coventry saw the unusual incident.

Sophia, aged 18, who is a full-time carer, added: "We were inside the house when my mum called us outside. We just stood in the garden looking up at the lights.

"We really have no idea what it was, but we have never seen anything like this before.

"Obviously when you see something like this, you can't help but think that it could be a UFO - something neither of us have believed in before."

Kieran, who went to Caludon Castle School, in Axholme Road, Wyken, is a trainee mechanic and previously worked at Green Garage, in Walsgrave Road.

He is hoping to get engaged to Sophia, who was a former pupil at Tile Hill Wood School, in Nutbrook Avenue, sometime soon.

Police in Wales were called to investigate a mysterious flying saucer, only to discover it was the moon.

The moon was mistaken for a "bright, stationary" UFO which had been loitering for at least half an hour, by a confused local in South Wales who made a 999 call to the police.

Today officers released a transcript in order to highlight the time wasted by unnecessary 999 calls.

The bizzare conversation ran as follows:

Control: "South Wales Police, what's your emergency?"

Caller: "It's not really. I just need to inform you that across the mountain there's a bright stationary object."

Control: "Right."

Caller: "If you've got a couple of minutes perhaps you could find out what it is? It's been there at least half an hour and it's still there."

Control: "It's been there for half an hour. Right. Is it actually on the mountain or in the sky?"

Caller: "It's in the air."

Control: "I will send someone up there now to check it out."

Caller: "OK."

After the police patrol car arrives, the script reveals the exchange between the control room and the police officer sent to the scene.

Control: "Alpha Zulu 20, this object in the sky, did anyone have a look at it?"

Officer: "Yes, it's the moon. Over."

A police spokeswoman said: "This was a recent example of an inappropriate 999 call to South Wales Police.

"Yes, we can all see the comical side but calling 999 with an unnecessary non-emergency call could block a genuine call for vital seconds and put lives at risk."

Other bizarre calls cited by the police force included someone asking for help voting for Rhydian on The X-Factor and another requesting a pound coin for their supermarket trolley.

Flintshire Readers Report More UFO Sightings

REPORTS of mysterious objects appearing the region's skies have continued to come in.

Keen photographer Peter Jones, of Connah's Quay, believes that he has snapped scores of pictures of UFOs across North Wales while enjoying his hobby.

Peter says that many of his friends have tried to explain the strange shots away by saying that they must have been caused by something on his camera lens, but he remains convinced that they are evidence of something more mysterious.

He said: "I enjoy taking pictures of skylines and I have a few different cameras. When I got out taking pictures, I always take a few different shots with all of them.

"I have lots of photos with objects like this in them and they are all taken at different times and locations, using different cameras, so it can't possibly be something on the lens.

"The strangest thing is that you cannot see these objects with the naked eye, but they show up on the pictures and are even reflected in the water in some shots.

"It is very unnerving, as I have no idea what they are and it makes me wonder if we are being watched. I know that most people think it is a mad theory and that it can be explained away, but I know what I saw."

Another amateur photographer, who did not wish to be named, snapped some unexplained objects in the sky above Holywell.

He said: "I have no idea what they were, but I have seen them and photographed them on a few occasions, all at around the same time of night. They really are weird."

The first of a string of UFO sightings, described as 'orange fireballs', was reported in Mynydd Isa on Christmas Day last year. During the first few weeks of 2008, the Leader received a flood of reports from residents across the county and even as far afield as America reporting similar experiences.

Yet more sightings were reported last month, prompting speculation and debate from scores of cynics and believers.

British UFO sightings at 'Bizarre' Levels

Whether alien activity or natural phenomena, reports of UFOs have flooded in this summer from across the country.

Whatever the explanation, experts agree that the number of suspected flying saucers has hit unusual highs this summer.

Malcolm Robinson, who studies the phenomenon, said: "Something very bizarre is happening in the skies over the UK."

The founder member of Strange Phenomena Investigations, added: "There has been an unusual number of sightings recently.

"Some experts believe it could be linked to global warming and craft from outer space are appearing because they are concerned about what man is doing to this planet."

Among mysterious flying objects spotted in recent months was a 'glowing' disc spotted above the M5 motorway.

Royal Navy aircraft engineer Michael Madden said he watched the UFO for three minutes before it 'zoomed off' near Weston-super-Mare in Somerset.

Earlier, in Basingstoke, witnesses claimed to have seen a fleet of 12 orange objects in the night sky for half an hour.

And in St Athan in the Vale of Glamorgan a police helicopter crew gave chase to another UFO after it appeared to veer at speed towards their aircraft.

One UFO spotter however was left red-faced after his report of a mysterious flying saucer in South Wales turned out to be nothing more other-worldly than the moon.

A UFO was captured on camera as a Southport nature enthusiast snapped away at Sunday’s twister.

Father-of-four Pat Regan, 51, of Sandbrook Road, was shocked when he looked at his pictures and noticed the unidentified object to the left of the funnel cloud.

Mr Regan, who runs child care facilities in Formby, was fishing in Rufford Canal with his seven-year-old daughter Jasmine when the twister started.

He said: “I was clinging to a railway bridge holding my camera. I thought the object might have been a police helicopter but when it’s close up, it doesn’t look like one. I’m sceptical about these things but open minded. It’s an oval shape and I would like to know what it is.”

plane landed at 1:10 PM Eastern on a Tampa International Airport runway in Florida

The Tampa Tribune reports, “The Northwest flight was descending (July 6, 2008) into Tampa International Airport at an altitude of 18,000 feet when the flight crew heard a ‘bang’ and then found the radar inoperative, said Kathleen Bergen of FAA Southern Region headquarters in Atlanta. Bergen said, ‘The crew did not report a bird strike, but did tell ATC [air traffic control] that the radome collapsed. The crew suspected a radome issue and slowed speed.’ ... Photographs of the dent on Northwest Flight 478 reveal a symmetrical circular pattern, but there is no sign of blood, which often is present after a bird strike. Also, the damage did not resemble the irregular pattern that lightning can cause on a radome.” The plane was repaired for Monday, July 7, 2008, service.

Also on Sunday, July 6, 2008, Continental Airlines Boeing 757 bound for England was hit by lightning in a “huge explosion,” according to passengers, shortly after takeoff from the Newark, New Jersey airport. The airliner turned around and landed safely.

Unknown Object Captured in Shreveport, LA Storm Clouds

I would like to submit this photo that was taken on January 12th, 2008. I took several pictures of the storm clouds but this one had an object we could not identify, and we don't recall seeing it when we were looking at the dark storm clouds while we stood outside a local HOBBY SHOP called "TRENDS AND TRAINS" in Shreveport, Louisiana.

We remembered how dark and stormy the clouds were, but we sure don't remember seeing the object at all. I went in and downloaded the photos that I took, and we noticed this object on just one photo, and we were dumbfounded and could not explain what it was.

We checked to see if it was from the screen from the PC, camera lens, but they were all clean from dust and dirt. Could you please look into this photo and see if you could identify or explain what we have taken a photo of. It doesn't look like an airplane or helicopter or bird. Thanks for your help.

MUFON Releases Comprehensive Report on Stephenville, TX Sightings

MUFON has released a comprehensive report on their radar findings relating to the Stephenville, and surrounding areas wave of sightings reports that began in January, 2008. This amazing report will show that theories of UFOs moving in the direction of President Bush's Crawford, TX ranch were accurate, a theory that I agreed with, and proposed in an article. I posted photographs of the no-fly zone, and proposed the possibility of the Air Force's involvement being related to UFOs approaching the no-fly zone.

However, under direction from a government agency, I was told to remove this page from the Internet. The reason given was that the information and theory might cause "public panic, and public distrust in our government." For fear that I might lose my entire web site, I reluctantly agreed to delete the page from my server. It was only available for a few hours. Hopefully, this will add a bit more credibility to the belief that our government, along with other governments of other countries, are keeping information on UFOs from the general public.

Unusual Light Photographed at Ault Cemetery, Colorado

A group of us from http://paranormal.meetup.com/400/ were at the Ault Cemetery in Ault, Colorado, on 3rd Ave on June 21st 2008 9:30 pm.

There were 12 of us there doing a paranormal GHOST investigation and saw what looked ike an odd shape going in and out of this tree at aprox.9:40PM.It was about the size of 2basket balls side by side visualy.We all thought it was a moving orb of the spirit kind or possibly a baking tin stuck in the tree as there are no lights around the tree.

Three people took pictures as they were getting excited about seeing a possible sprit, but I have seen this one and thought I would send it to you as I am a ghost investigator and not a UFologist or UFO investigator.

After this picture was taken we saw lots of things that looked like shooting stars and an object that went realy bright and then slowly dimmed till nothing was there at about 9:47 pm in the eastern skyline.We left at 10pm. As members send me more pictures I will send them to you.

Unknown Object in Photograph from Perth, Australia

Here are two photos which were taken from the same apartment balcony near Cottesloe beach in Perth, West Australia during May 2008 sometime between the 6th and the 9th of the month and during the mid to late afternoon somewhere between 1:00 and 5:00 pm.

During a one month period, I took around 140 photos of the sea and sunsets on my Samsung Digimax S500 camera. The two photos were a result of this, and it wasn't until a week or so later that I looked at the images closely and saw the strange things that you see now.

Image 1 (seen below) shows something that could be mistaken for a break in the clouds, with light streaming through, however there was total cloud coverage at the time, and it would have been impossible for such bright sun to shine through in such a way. What it looks like to me is a sphere shaped UFO traveling at high speed on an obviously sharp angle into the clouds.

Image 2 (not posted here) is more or less impossible to comprehend, with the UFO on the left looking like a clear sphere with something almost resembling a nucleus inside it. On the right is another flying object which admitedly could be a bird, or a craft tracking and following the sphere. [Editor's Note: I informed the submitter that the second photograph was more than likely a lens flare on one side, and the object on the right side was not defined enough to make a good closeup.]

It should be mentioned that I have other photos, many in fact, with blurry objects in the sky above Cottesloe beach, all of the things in my photographs, including these two, were not visible when I was shooting the photos.

Jul 14 2008-A UFO spotted over West Lancashire could feature on an American Sci-Fi programme after experts denied the photograph was a fake.

He said: “I took a simple picture of a very unusual natural phenomena and inadvertently snapped a UFO at the same time.

“The worldwide media interest has been incredible, with the story cropping up in many countries.

“I am just gobsmacked by it all!”

The mysterious sighting could now be investigated on sci-fi programme “UFO Hunters” for The History Channel after it was analysed by a graphics expert known as Allen Rogers.

He said: “This is definitely something that was caught by the camera, as the pixelation surrounding the object matches perfectly with the surrounding pixelation.

“The lighting is correct, which apparently shows a shadow underneath the object, so I would immediately rule out someone playing tricks with Photoshop.

“This one appears to be a metal type object, in my opinion, copper in colour, goldish perhaps.

“When you zoom into it, you can notice a distinct whitish contrail-type of thing, but not entirely sure of what it might be.

“There appears to be some sort of white trail behind the image leading towards the bottom left of the image.

“If this trail was going from right to left, appearing and emanating from the left side of the object, it would indicate that this object is moving towards the right, but I think it's actually moving towards the tornado, and not away from it.

“This is kind of strange, since the whitish trail actually seems to emanate directly from under the entire object and stretching slightly to the bottom left.”

Leading UFO authority Nick Pope, formerly of the Government's UFO project at the Ministry of Defence, also analysed the image.

He said: “I have seen similar images before, but as I've left the MoD I no longer have access to the specialist equipment and experts that might help solve the mystery.”

Mr Rogers offered an explanation for the object. He said: “I hate to say or even suggest this, since the source sounds legitimate, but, this could also be a movement blur from an object being thrown towards the tornado, and then someone snapping a picture of it.

“The object being copper in colour could mean it was a coin of some sort or possibly a stone or rock.

“I know it’s really hard to say for sure what this object is. Is it a UFO? well I would have to say yes - it is unidentified, it is flying and it is an object.

“Is it ET visitors checking out a nearby weather event? I'm not sure about that one.

“If I was to keep my suggestion terrestrial, I would say it's some sort of coin, metallic, or smooth stone-type object being thrown towards the tornado then someone shooting a picture.

“Or even someone shooting the picture and by chance this object was caught as someone was throwing something towards the tornado, which could also be the answer here.”

Writer, Mr Regan, who also runs child-care facilities in Formby, said:

“People have said to me that is a wonderful UFO shot and one of the best they have ever seenn yet this was pure coincidence.

“I am just a local Pagan author who was out at the time fishing with my daughter in the countryside and now I have become the centre of a substantial UFO axis.”

Yes, it sounds really exciting, but I haven't seen any of it--LOL It's all a little bit south of me. I'm keeping my eyes open, though. :D We do have a phenomenon known as Lubbock Lights around here. I'll have to see what I can find on that. :)

Unknown Object Photographed during Pensacola Blues Air Show

Florida-07-11-2008-During the Pensacola Blues Air Show I was standing at the center of the crowd. Early in the show, about 35 minutes into the show, I was observing a biplane doing his maneuvers with much smoke.

Suddenly, I noticed this circular object and initially thought it was a smoke ring. The smoke from the biplane dissipated and the object remained the same size and shape moving slowly in an easterly direction.

In the photos it appears to be on a slant. The last image I saw of it leveled off. It disappeared behind cloud cover.

I showed my photo to several people and they claim to have seen it as well. I am a former crew chief, aircraft mechanic, on F-4's and I know what aircraft look like. This was something I have never seen before.

What you see in the photo is what I saw with the naked eye. I took the photo because that's what I saw with the naked eye.

Diamond-shaped Object Caught in Photograph over Sedona, AZ

Arizona-06-30-08-I was in Sedona visiting my brother and his fiancee. It's really hot there, so they wait until late evening to go out. We were driving to a place called Red Rock Crossing, and I was taking photos of the mountain landscapes out the window along our drive. I had my camera set to "sports," so it can capture images while moving without blurring them.

The next day, I uploaded my photos to my computer and was looking at them, to weed out the good shots and delete the crappy ones. Anyway, in one shot, I noticed a we had a diamond-shaped cloud, and a weird rectangle to the left with what looked like a rectangle shadow above it and to the right.

I went into Photoshop and brought up the contrast to try to see the weird shapes more clearly, and cropped them. I emailed them to about 5 people, one who is an astronomer, and nobody knew what it was. Nobody knew. But, the last night of my trip, my brother had a party. I showed the photo to some locals and one guy told me to turn the photo sideways (landscape to the right) and zoom in to the diamond, because he said some "ships" fly sideways. Sure enough, it looks like a saucer!

Also, I noticed more rectangles in the shot to the right. The upper right section and another one really low to the horizon on the right. There are some shadows of dots, but that might just be birds or something. Anyway, the diamond-shape object is clearly not a cloud. The craziest thing is I never even saw them when I took the photo. Of course, the window was down so I had wind in my eyes, and I wasn't looking for weird objects when I took the photo.

After the party night, I couldn't sleep well and woke up from 2 "nightmares" because I was scared of aliens. I thought I saw people walking in the room I was staying in, but they were dreams. Sometimes I think I see people or weird see-through things in my room when I am in that weird realm between sleep and wakefulness. I have always been interested in UFO stuff, and had some dreams years and years ago, but honestly, I haven't thought about it in years, and I wasn't thinking about UFOs or aliens on this trip... until I saw the weird stuff. I can hardly believe I took that shot! So, please investigate the photos for yourself, and let me know what you find out. I can email you the original photo without the contrast and cropping. But I am at my friends house in Atlanta and my computer won't get online, so I had to send the email versions I emailed him from my trip.

Blue-ringed Object Photographed over Illinois

Illinois-07-09-08-I saw something else. They are getting CLOSER.

It was a light blue disk... with a yellow window in the center of it. It lit up right before my eyes, just to the south of me. It lit up like a fluorescent light, and then just shut off. This object was closer than anything I have ever seen before. The object was only visible for about one second, but I did get a picture of it.

Unknown Object Videotaped over Mexico City

Here is another video clip taken on May-10-07, of a bright glowing unknown object. While on vacation to Mexico City, I witnessed a bright, glowing object that appeared to be hovering (used a telephone pole/electrical wires as a reference point). The unknown object began to descend at an angle and out of view.

Clearly this unknown object was no aircraft. I am attaching the video clip for you to analyze. If you have any questions get back with me.

1. Weston - June 29, 2008: A disc-shaped object was spotted hovering in the sky above the M5 for about three minutes before flying off at speed. The sighting was made by a Royal Navy aircraft engineer.

2. Weston - February 22, 1999: Two large round, white objects were spotted with a very bright light. They remained stationery for about 15 minutes.

3. Weston - June 17, 2001: A round, red, glowing ball was moving through the sky, which changed colour as it slowed down. A second object then appeared.

4. Weston - March 2, 2002: Large, numerous lights were seen that were white and very bright. They were wheel shaped.

5. Weston - August, 1984: A photograph was taken of an object above the Grand Pier. It was travelling northwards at about the speed of a light aircraft. It disappeared after the photo was taken.

6. Bristol Channel - May 12, 2001: Two satellite shaped objects were seen, which were white and very bright.

7. Bristol Channel - June 8, 2008: Reports were made of moving lights over the channel.

8. Clevedon - August 2006 (no firm date): A globe-shaped, lighted object fluttered through the sky. According to the eye-witness it looked erratic.

California-07-13-08-I am a private pilot. There were two objects flying in wing abreast formation when we saw them from our balcony. I ran and got the camcorder, and when I came back, they had split up but still remained close. Colors and shape seemed to shift slightly. Objects roll among all three axis with no sound.

I had my doubts about them being UFOs, however, I took it to the airport and showed it to a couple of other pilots, and their opinion was inconclusive. I believe them to be remote-control vehicles. Either way, they recommended I contact MUFON.

50 UFO Sightings In Pennsylvania In Last 2 Months

Bucks "flapping' over UFO sightings

Pennsylvania is “flapping.” And Bucks County is apparently the epicenter.

“Flaps” is the term a national organization that investigates UFO sightings uses to refer to an abundance of supposed close encounters in an area in a short period of time.

The Mutual UFO Network has fielded about 50 UFO reports in the Keystone State in the last two months, and more than two dozen have been in Bucks County, said John Ventre, Pennsylvania and West Virginia director for the Colorado-based nonprofit.

Then on Wednesday, a Plumstead woman told township police that she saw a blinking, triangular shaped unidentified flying object hovering above her neighborhood off Stump Road around 9:45 p.m.

“We have clusters of people all across the state making reports, but mostly in Bucks County,” said Ventre.

“It's the largest wave of UFO reports we've seen in Pennsylvania since Kecksburg,” he added, referring to the December 1965 incident in which a “fireball-like” object purportedly crashed in the woods of the Westmoreland County community.

Ventre was recently in Lower Bucks County interviewing eight people who claim to have witnessed mysterious flying aircraft. A film crew from the Discovery Channel accompanied him to record the interviews, he said.

There appear to be two types of craft that have been consistently described by people, said Ventre.

One type is a high-flying, bright “star-like” object that zips across the sky with great speed, he said. The other is variously described as a low-flying, six-sided or boomerang-shaped object with multi-color lights — from white and red, to green, blue or orange — that silently moves and hovers somewhat like a helicopter, said Ventre.

The latter type is similar to what Diana Bereck, 47, described seeing in Plumstead above her development, Cabin Run, on Wednesday.

Bereck, who says she “absolutely” does not believe in aliens or UFOs, was spooked enough by the craft to report it to police.

Bereck said she was driving down Cabin Run Road when her daughter, a passenger, spotted the airborne object hovering at the altitude of a low-flying plane above houses on the other side of the street.

Initially dismissing the sighting as a plane, Bereck became a bit uncomfortable when the craft came closer without making any sound. After parking in her driveway, she got out of her car and stared at the craft as it hovered, noting its triangular shape, bright white light toward the front flanked by dimmer white lights, and two red lights at the back.

“It made no noise whatsoever,” said Bereck. “It wasn't in a hurry to leave...I watched it until it just went off and disappeared over the trees.”

Despite the encounter, Bereck firmly believes it was not a flying saucer.

“It was probably something from a military exercise,” she said. “I'm absolutely positive there is nothing else out there, but I saw something I couldn't identify and I felt that I should report it.”

A police officer discovered nothing out of the ordinary.

In late June, one person claimed to see a UFO “with six lights in the shape of a boomerang” over the Oxford Valley Mall in Middletown.

On Jan. 27, someone called 911 to report an aircraft “hovering like an octopus” over a Mexican restaurant in Falls. A Falls policeman responded to the scene, but found nothing.

Most Mutual UFO Network investigations conclude that the aircraft in question is “something conventional and explainable,” said spokesman Alejandro Rojas. He said the network has investigated around 2,000 sightings per year. To become a “field investigator,” an applicant must study a manual available for $28 and pass a 100-question test.

Ventre is continuing his investigation into the Bucks County incidents.

“Either we're seeing the next generation of military aircraft, or we're looking at extraterrestrials,” he said.
