Its a fine line between Progress and Horror these days.
You can imagine the input the elite have used.
Be interesting if it discovered Infinite Love is the only Truth by itself, mind. I wonder how we would handle machine rights if conciousness did develop. On current form I suspect Wisdom would be entirely lacking.

I absolutely love the idea of artificial intelligence. That could create such a tremendous load off for humanity. Imagine yourself doing millions of multiplications per second. That's awesome calculating power, yet even the simplest computer can do that today. The same thing with knowledge as information. Computers will most likely be able to handle even the most complex problems far more efficiently than the human mind.

AI could reach astronomical levels of IQ, and that could be of huge benefit to us. The evolution for human intelligence on the other hand is not to increase the level of IQ. That's for robots! :D Instead we as humans should focus on much subtler and advanced forms of intelligence, and let the robots do the Einstein type of mechanical intelligence.
