Is this a spell or just lunacy?

I have had in my possesion some time a piece of paper with intruiging and yet aparent insane rambling on it, it was passed to me some years ago and I have kept it safe ever since. It has the same symbols and pictures on both sides but there are diffrences and similarities to keep me wondering what it is. It was passed to me by a family member and I would like to gauge its authenticity as some kind of spell or just the ramblings of mad man! Does anybody recognise that small section I have posted below, any comments would be most welcome :D.

I should explain a bit better now the new year cider has worn off a bit!

The picture above is just a sample of the entire page, I didnt want to post the entire thing untill I find out if its somthing sinister as my name is written into it! The page itself is A5 size and both sides have very similiar symbols and writing. The picture posted above is from the top right of side 1 and it is drawn identicly on the other side in the top right. It is this detail that leads me to think it is more than just doodlings from a deranged family member but you never know!!

In answer to your question the one I got the paper from told me he found it but nethier of us can remeber were and he didnt remeber at all untill I showed it to him last night.

Hehehe. Well, to me, those 2 peaks are like mountains.. and then it's like there's a river between them, so that figure (man?) is floating above the water? Yeah, I don't know if it makes sense, though! :p

I went for a drawing analysis a few months ago, this reminds me of it. You are asked to draw a number of things, like a mountain, river, house, tree, bird, snake etc or any variation and you can add anything to it, make it as artistic or simplistic as you like then someone analyzes it. Google drawing analysis to see if elements in the complete drawing match up to this technique.

I dont think i might be to much help, i still think it might be a map, what if it represents a place the man that made the drawing visited that place in a certain period of the year? cause there might be a star/sun/moon between the mountains there! Wished i could help you more.

It looks to be as if it represents some sort of spiritual ascension. The figure looks female to me with a halo, so representing some sort of female divinity. The pentacle between the two hills is elemental/holistic and the path between the two hills .... interesting.

Doesn't look sinister, looks intriguing, would love to see the whole thing!!
