Surly it will be too obvious to be blamed on Ron Paul supporters?

The hostage news story could be a smokescreen of some sort to divert the attention of the public. Perhaps it's a smokescreen to not make this U.S. - China story seem too big or important:

Or something like that.

From PrisonPlanet mainpage...

Fox News reports hostage taker man who "complained of conspiracy theories - that the government was out to get him - put chip in his head" Explosives were just road flares.

No guys, this is to help push the new Thought Crime bill. Remember, it's to be decided upon within the next month.

Now looking at this issue with China...

Wow. These guys are good, I'll give them that.

But pushing this new thought crime bill, along with a fight with China, will give a lot of leverage to bring about the North American Union.

It's sad. But you have to give them credit. They bring it out when you least aspect it.

Ah! That could be a reason. I haven't looked at the new Thought Crime bill, maybe it's time to check it out. And they can also choose to stage such hostage event to create a big news article when they need it as a smokescreen for some other news article published the same day, and so they think they are very clever by achieving several goals with one blow. :D
