Bush Bloodline origins by tortugo23 suggests a link to Alistar however I find no account of the friendship between Nellie and Pauline. Speculation however I wonder how he makes this socialite connection between them both does anyone know? Head Spinners abounds.
All three are the same article with different formats.

Barbara Pierce By blood relations.
Barbara Pierce was the third child of the former Pauline Robinson (1896-1949) and her husband, Marvin Pierce (1893-1969), who later became president of McCall Corporation, the publisher of the popular women's magazines Redbook and McCall's. She was born at Booth Memorial Hospital in New York City, and raised in the suburban town of Rye, New York, and went to Rye Country Day School, followed by boarding school at Ashley Hall in Charleston, South Carolina.
Her ancestor Thomas Pierce, an early New England colonist, was also an ancestor of Franklin Pierce, the 14th President of the United States. She is a direct descendant, great-great-granddaughter, of James Pierce, Jr. who was a fourth cousin of Franklin Pierce.
She is also the seventh generation American from her ancestor Demuth family who immigrated to America in the first part of the 18th century. The ancestral home of the Demuths was Moravský Karlov, in the Kingdom of Bohemia, where the patriarch of the family was a magistrate. Although nominally Catholics, of the “Hidden Seed,” they fled to Herrnhut in the Upper Lusatia on the estate of Count Nicolaus Ludwig von Zinzendorf. They became founding members of the revived Bohemian Unitas fratrum, which became generally known as the Moravian Church. When, some ten years later, the situation in Saxony became untenable for the Brethren, the Demuths were one of the first to emigrate to America. After initial stay in Savannah, Georgia, they soon moved to Pennsylvania and Ohio, settling in the new Moravian settlements which they helped build.[1]
Pauline and Marvin's third child, Barbara, was born on June 8, 1925. Barbara went on to marry George H. W. Bush, the 41st President of the United States.

"'During World War I he returned to the U.S. where he became the editor of Pearson's Magazine. In April of 1921 he became an American citizen. The following year he traveled to Berlin where the first volume of My Life and Loves was published. There would be three more volumes published between 1922 and 1927. Some claim his notoriety as a braggart and liar are epitomized in these books. In January of 1923 he traveled to Paris in an attempt to sell the first volume in France, but it was seized by the authorities. In January of 1924 Aleister Crowley came to stay with him for a while. According to one source, they both shared similar 'money troubles" and were 'equal hypochondriacs'.
His works include novels, short stories, studies of Shakespeare, and biographies of both Oscar Wilde and George Bernard Shaw. Of note, his first volume of short stories was Montes the Matador (1900) and his second volume was How to Beat the Boer, a Conversation in Hades (1900). His first novel, The Bomb (1908), is of particular interest as Crowley reviewed it and wrote, "This book is, in truth, a masterpiece; so intense is the impression that one almost asks, 'Is this a novel or a confession? Did not Frank Harris perhaps throw the bomb?' At least he has thrown one now ... This is the best novel I have ever read.'"

James Thomas Harris (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frank_Harris)
Harris became an American citizen in April, 1921. In 1922 he traveled to Berlin to publish his best-known work, his autobiography My Life and Loves (published in four volumes between 1922 and 27). It is notorious for its graphic descriptions of Harris's purported sexual encounters and for its exaggeration of the scope of his adventures, his prowess and his role in history. A dubious fifth volume, supposedly taken from his notes, was published in 1954, long after his death.
A 1923 attempt to sell the book in Paris caused it to be seized by French authorities. The British occultist, mystic, and sexual revolutionary Aleister Crowley lived with him in 1924; according to one source[citation needed], they both shared similar "money troubles" and were "equal hypochondriacs".

Nellie O'Hara
Harris and Nellie lived together from about 1898 until his death. They did not actually marry until the death of his second wife, Emily. Nellie makes her debut as a singer. Nellie had been taking lessons for some time, much to Frank's annoyance. Apparently the debut was not a success.
