Ok we all know subconscious beliefs control our consensus reality. So I want everyone to explore there subconcious with me to unearth the ridiculous subconcious beliefs that we have all been implanted with.
These are the beliefs we know are rubbish but theres a part of us that still seems influenced anyway.
Ok I will start, making lots of money is a sign of success and somthing to be proud of.

Well i think its worth exploring, I think the technique is when your rational mind dosn't match your perceptions. Like knowing a Mcdonalds burger is horrible crap but still being drawn towards it by a subconcious erge. Lucky this is not somthing that effects me this just serves as a example.
Another example would be claiming not to be supersticious but going out of your way to avoid a crack in the pavement. Or knowing that materilalism is superficial crap but craving a oyster rolex watch as a status symbol.
Basicly anywhere that your rational mind is hijacked by the subconcious.

I've been exploring these oceans of subconsciousness at least for 3 years! It's all fun, until you finally crash to your own walls.
Check out the whole series of Sigmund Freud's theories (don't forget to study other respective people's works AND especially don't forget to think for yourself, because all ideas are given just to help to form your own consciousness). Versatile curiousity helped me to see unimaginable (sometimes terrifying) things inside myself and others.
Just remember, when you find out some things (most seem supernatural, when some are illusions or untraceable genetic modifications) that are against your morale - defeat your anger/fear.
Just to give you an example, what I was talking about morale/subconsciousness misalignment, here's what I found few years ago, that shocked me.
My Secret Garden - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
To describe my own situation, I have to mention, that I extremely want monogamous relationship with one woman for my life. I have high morale, and this means, my ego doesn't want to understand me the supernatural (?) human origin of polygamous animal - but that's what we are! And even if it's ok now, some points remain transgressive. And it cannot be shut down. So I feel like having a troyan horse inside of me, that is slowly killing my conscious superego.
The next stop - killer instincts, jealousy etc.
I won't go into deeper discussion, I just want you to understand, that some things you are about to discover... Well... They practically prove that advanced civilization does not change any origin - it just veils the Truth from everyone's eyes ( for those, who do not wish to see things what they truly are ). So that's what you're gonna find in the end.

"When a man begins to know himself a little he will see in himself many things that are bound to horrify him. So long as a man is not horrified at himself he knows nothing about himself." - P.D Ouspensky
