What about fire/water/wind/earth.

Are these entities or just elements that build everything?

Is is the problem, what beings live in those elements?

Magic (Occult) does not have to involve worship at all; if you are speaking of ritualistic magic, then it depends on your approach and the "flavour of magic" you are looking at.

There are lots in Magic that can be good or bad, it depends on your intention and implementation.

You actually sound pretty smart to me, not an idiot; those are good questions.

I am religious though I study and "practice" "magic", it does not conflict with my beliefs, it complements them. Science, Occult and Religion are all in harmony in my view;

Science, Occult, Religion
Theoretical, Practical, Metaphysical
Mental, Material, Spiritual

in that order, though all intersect in various states of implementation :)

Sorry if that does not help.

I've never felt comfortable with the knowledge of magic and occultism that
can be found on the internet. Many mages and occultists use the kabbalah,
and I get a distinct warning sensation when I read about the kabbalah.

Other occultistic practices, such as kundalini raising, will give me that same
warning sensation.. and so far my intuition never failed me.

All I can advise you is, listen to your heart, and seek knowledge inside of
yourself, rather than outside of yourself. Instead of reading books and texts
and theories, learn to silence your mind in meditation, and draw from your
higher self all the knowledge you need to fulfill your purpose in this life.

Well, I mean this with all respect, but having, as you say, 5 spirit guides who help you would suggest you yourself look outwardly, even if they influence you inwardly ;)

Having spirit guides is "Occult" in nature, 100%. It is actually what many Magical schools and Occult systems teach, to be in touch with guardian angels, higher selfs, spirit guides, etc.

All of which is actually a pitfall, planted to trap those without understanding, those who are not ready, but none the less, it is Occult.

While I agree with your points that areas of the Occult and Magic are negative, it all depends on what he means as he did not really define Magic.

So have you actually studied kabbalh in its original form? try reading books by Aryeh Kaplan, they are very good and dont deal with the modern magicl expression of the subject but focus on the biblical study.

You criticise subjects you know nothing about. Your 'intuition' is not telling you anything, your christian bias is scaring you away from studying anything else, and that is it.

Kundalini brings inner knowledge and you tell people to seek this!!!! also, kundalini is not technically occult but is a part of yoga.

Just because you are not comfortable with it this does not mean that others are not or should not be. Perhaps you are just afraid of learning smething about yourself

No they are spiritual forces that have a specific type of activity. All things are made from combinations of these elemental forces.

They are neutral in themselves. What we term good and bad generally depends on our relationship to such things. If we find our lives are enhanced by them we call them good but if we mave against them we call them bad or evil. How people perceive good and evil depends on their position to anything.

There is also the issue of balanced or unbalanced force. Balanced for is called good and unbalanced force is called evil. Depends on the context you are using these labels.
