View Full Version : Masonic symbolism on my doorstep.

This is one of the cinemas in my home town. Can you see what it is?
Several streets away and opposite is a Masonic hall. In fact you can see the hall from the cinema. Also on the same street as the Masonic hall is a hotel called the Ibis Hotel which looks somewhat like the back end of a Sphinx.

I will take better photos of these buildings and post them here. There are some strange buildings in my home town and as I live in Wales, there are Dragons everywhere.

Its cineworld, formally UGC.

I'll get a better photo of the building face on but it is undeniably an owl.

I have one near me, never noticed anything unusual but i'm only just beginning to notice these things so will have a good look when i next pass, i wonder if its a re-occuring theme ?

I have wondered if any of their other buildings resemble an owl or have any other symbolism in them. The one in my city is placed perfectly so you can see it from the masonic temple and if you go to the top floor of the cinema you can practically look down upon the temple.
I think there's a very large masonic influence in Cardiff.

no masonic symbolism it's esoteric symbolism.
