where can i see it from north-west england? The nights have been very cloudy for weeks, but today is the clearest it has been for weeks.
I was told to look north-east at 40 degrees but at what time?

Hi John
The comet is in Perseus, next to the star Mirfak.
Look for Cassiopeia, the big W shaped set of 5 stars, then look beside Cassiopeia for the constalation of Perseus. The comet is almost central in Perseus as the picture below shows us.
