Me and my friend saw a shapshifter?

Hello I had a unexplained experience to tell,when I was younger a friend and me were up late hanging out in a park near his house. We were out late around 2 am, we were not loud but talking and sitting by these tall stones.
We could not been seen very easily, I saw some thing moving across the street in a window of a unknown house. So I told my friend that maybe some ones watching us for some odd reason, so we get up and begin to walk toward
the house.

As we began to walk toward the house some thing was odd about
this person, I could see the person poking there head out of there drawn
blinds (at 2 am) as I got closer there was some thing weird looking about
the features of this person. Now we were 50 ft. from the house on the side walk across the street, I was starting to feel scared (I don't get scared) the so-called person came out from behind the side drawn blinds, to the middle of the window.Now in full clear view lit by the street lights, the person/thing had no clothing on and had no sexual features and no facial features, there skin looked to be wiggling and moving. Now very scared I saw the thing look to grow gray hair and facial features of a old person, didn't look female or male. Now Im running with my friend, as fast as I can, after running for several blocks.

we stop to catch are breath, now we had not said any thing to each other yet.
So panting in disbelief, I asked what did you see, because I didn't believe what i saw with my own eyes (dammit this makes my hair stand on end 17 yrs later)
my friend said he saw that thing naked squirming in its own skin and it changed into a old lady he said, and that was close enuf to what I saw to confirm
that it was a real experience. Now mind you after the event we went by the same house to try to see who was in there to the point of harassment we would run up knock and run to see who came out once a old lady came out.
My friend who lived by this house said after the event that he did not like to walk by that house now, he said he felt it was watching him and may come after him.

I found my friend dead a year later at 16 yrs old in the woods right by the same house with the thing.supposedly fell of a rope swing had a severe head injury! Now the same house, has not change even the blinds in 17 years. Any ideas what happened to me, besides possible shape shifter, why was it targeting us, could of this thing killed my friend. Well if true I am sorry to hear about your friend. There is some crazy shit going on in this world. You can take solace that your friend is not truly gone, only his body is. But I would stay the hell away from that house.

Judging from your writing style you seem sincere and some what genuine. I have to say this is probably one of the most disturbing accounts that I've read over in recent memory. There is all kinds of high strangeness going on in this mysterious world, and your account fit's with the hundreds of others that describe closely what you've described here. Sorry to hear about your friend. Was his death ever ruled a murder? Was an investigation ever persued into the matter?

Thank you all very much for your responses it means a lot to me!

(@pound they did do an autopsy and found he had a major
head injury & they believed it was the cause of his death,
they never said it was murder but the said it was suspicious
thus the need for autopsy so thats why I say possibly because
I have no proof.)

Now he had been there for a week before I found him, man
its still tough for me to go over....he was face down in a creek
and I could not see his face only his hair, I was told when they
examined him there was flesh loss from animals. I have never told any one
how it may of happened because i was only 17 and I thought people would
not believe me, we encountered a shape shifter monster thing and it scared us to the deepest depths. There is no way it was human but could kinda look human when it changed.

It was something I don't understand yet, but its was not human, it was evil I felt scared shit-less by its changing and fowardness whatever evil is, it did not like us, it knew we could see it for what it was, it enjoyed the fear it gave us by revealing itself, it could of stayed hidden right, why step out from the blinds and stand right in the middle of the window. I feel much anger still and confusion, I have researched for so many years to find the answer I needed up reading the necronomicon, the necronomicon's hidden leafs unedited, behold a pale horse,
every forum on reptiles aliens the hollow earth theory, but shape shifters
that are not reptiles I have never come across yet.

Man how is it we can live here with freaky beings completely beyond us on so many levels I feel like some kind of pond in a game. Any Ideas on what this thing wanted from us, or why it showed us what it was, and why possibly kill my friend but not me, I do live much farther from the house, & how can it appear to live in the same house,
what is it doing in this house, it cant be good, has this thing hurt killed others
these are the questions that haunt me. Later on I dreamed about him and
he showed me a house and it seemed very real, at one point I asked
him if this was a dream, he reached over and grabbed my arm and squeezed hard i could very much feel his hand squeezing as he looked at me I knew it was very real he's alive just not like i am, most of all in this dream he was very happy.

pixie I have no link, besides my knowledge is greater about similar events
& I figure I was open to a different perception either form the being
or some how me and my friend were in a special area that allowed such things
to be revealed for what they truly are, mind you that it only stay there as a transforming being/monster for a little bit before it seemed to change back to a mostly human looking thing, but have I found a direct link to why or what not yet.
There are some very unusual things that happened but are not directly related but loosely similar.

Maybe being scared is what made him fall out of the rope swing. I think was what Yass meant.

There are legends about shape shifters in many cultures that aren't reptilian. Were-wolves of both European and native american legends. Also stories from china and japan about woman changing into foxes. Also about people that could take the form of anything.

There are skin walkers, "people" that can transform into any beast. They are often portrayed as naked or only wearing the skin of whatever animal they're transforming into. The Navajo believe that if you lock eyes with a skinwalker they can absorb themselves into your body.

Great insight, I get what yass meant, & it does makes a lot of since when I thought about it, thanks. The skin walker thing is really interesting
for its not the common reptilian I all-ways hear when looking for shape-shifters
that could some how relate to my experience.
I only have found fragments, that tell of shifters that are not reptilian
like bigfoot, I dont have black foot Indian in me. The Navajo lead
sounds like a good one Im sure going to spend some time looking this one up & seeing how it may relate, because it fits, more than a shape shifter but I

oldones, when I got interested in the monsterquest thread and was searching the Way Back Machine archived pages of the official michigan-dogman.com site which is no longer up and running, and was reading case histories of sightings and events surrounding the legend, one of them was about a carriage that had overturned, allegedly due to a dogman sighting, and dead horses that were found that had pulled the carriage. The guy writing about the event stressed, or emphasized, that it was fear that killed them rather than a dogman.

Also, just before posting in this thread, the very morning I think (if not the morning before) I'd woken up and the only words remaining from my dreams were 'scared to death'. I remembered an important thing about the things we say unconsciously.

Now, let me tell you, my dad used to say "dad burn it" a lot instead of the alternative. A day came when he barely made it out of his home when he woke and found it was on fire. Also, my mother used to say a lot "I'm half blind". A day came when she had a stroke in which she lost her vision on the right side in both eyes, losing her peripheral vision. My mother is the one who pointed out these things to me upon reflecting (about the words and events that consequently or coincidentally happened later in life).

When I realized I was on the verge of an 'unconscious' phrase I had to put myself in check, thinking this is a way to manifest something (possibly) if I (we) don't become conscious of the words I (we) speak without thinking or being conscious of just what we are saying.

So, that's where I was at, the thoughts running through my mind when I'd seen your post.

I agree with the guy who said "Fear killed them!" because I understood what he was getting at, the concept.

Also, I put reptilian shapeshifters, djinn, skinwalkers in the same category, along with Seid magic practitioners because they all have the same abilities and so I believe come from the same base with different names and titles due to different cultures. They can shift, take on other forms, animal or human, travel far faster than a human, and there are other traits in common. There are other names of beings which would fit the description as well.

If there's something to ferret out to give each distinction besides names from the diverse cultures and history which speaks of them I would have to become more intimately familiar with them to sort out those things, until then they are in my opinion, synonymous.

I never thought I'd be dragging out this picture. I had to go searching at another forum starting from post #1 to look for it as I had no idea what search terms, in words, to look for it. It's all good though because I found a couple things along the way that I didn't realize I had posted that are of value to me now.

I don't know how to rate this and except for the one post at that forum I haven't included it in any of my shapeshifter photo presentations but after reading your description of what you saw I couldn't help but think of it, why I went after it.

While having it out I put it through JPEGsnoop which checks compression signatures and can identify if a photo has been edited in any way for any reason in photo shop and it had no photo shop compression signature. I hadn't yet acquired the program when I originally posted this.

That was not a shapeshifter. But, in this case, it was some experience that caused sufficient trauma to have an detrimental impact on her health.

I have seen lots of shapeshifters. None looked reptilian, though - just demonic. They all have an individual character. And, they are all thoroughly evil. A few of my old customers saw them, too. And, I've talked to a lot of people over the years who have had similar experiences and some describe "snake" faces on the shifters.

Lots of anomalies in this world. This thing you and your friend saw, OP, reminds me a little of Melusine. Melusine was a shapeshifter with a fish tail. She married a French nobleman and there are lots of stories about Melusine in France.

Descendants of the family came from France to England in about the 11th century. Melusine's 1st English descendant was Geoffrey of Monmouth and all of us who are descendants of the House of Plantagenet have her as an ancestor. She had siblings who had strange deformities. I'm convinced this is why the royal family of England (and my own) are so diabolically wicked.

Of course, who knows what is in anyone's gene pool.

Have you heard of the Jersey Devil being born from a woman "Mother Leeds"? In some stories the Jersey Devil is born as a baby and then turns into a demon in front of the family. In other stories it is born as the monster.

Either way... maybe Mother Leeds and the deformed siblings of Meluine are related?

Thank you for reading my story. Awful story i get the feeling that it is real, i am really sorry for what happened to your friend whatever that was it was not kind. There are really things in our world that are just so damn strange really.
