Honestly.

If you were to be faced with a disaster right now. Or if you were to have a gun put to your face right now, and the trigger was pulled, would you be ready for the here-after?

i think i am ready. i was in a planecrash a couple of weeks back. this was in my dreams ofcourse.

when we were crashing, everyone on board thought they were going to die and so was me. i didn't care that i was going to die, i did care that my mother would probably make herself sick for the rest of my life about my death... so this made me feel pretty bad.

i got over that thought/feeling pretty quickly though, in about 5 to 10 seconds that is. everything is like it is, no point in resisting what life has to offer.
soon we were hitting the ground and i felt very comfortable dying... i was happy.
dying is cool :)

Fair enough.. But why not learn to fight to live?

I think death is just to pass on into a different dimension...

I want don't want to leave this body to do that..

I want to take it with me..

I want it to be powerful enough to knock down walls, and fly and such...

I want to go everywhere...

and I mean EVERYWHERE.

Fair enough.. But why not learn to fight to live?
the only thing you can fight when you're crashing in a plane is your fear of death.
when you embrace that fear though, instead of fighting, only love remains.

if i was to be put a gun on my face, or someone else threatening to kill me or hurt me... i would ofcourse fight to live, or fight to not be in much pain.
but if there is no chance of survival, i see no use in resisting death.

everyone dies soon or later, so i can't really get what you are saying. What is it you mean with "learn how to fight to live"

Life's but a walking shadow, a poor player

That struts and frets his hour upon the stage

And then is heard no more: it is a tale

Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury,

Signifying nothing.
i like this little poem. i got it from here (http://www.detoxifynow.com/water_and_tao.html)

I have no fear of death at all, the only thing I fear is for my kids if something happened to me.
If it ever came to it, and I had a choice of their lives or mine, I would give mine over in a heartbeat :)

I'm not worried about it. Right now I have other things to worry about. We are all going die or be killed in one way or another. Your body or shell as I call it will die. But your soul/spirit will never end. That is what I think.

what's your point lordship?

My sister lost her husband to cancer 3 years ago. For the past year she has been seeing a man....POP...dead of a heart attack yesterday morning. I think other peoples deaths, "timely" or otherwise affect the living much more than the deceased.

I do not fear death one bit.... i would just hope that they got me in one shot and I don't feel it....

also i would be pretty bummed at all the things I am going to leave behind half done.

there is even a part of death that is quite exciting...

does that sound dark? ..if so why?

not fearing death does not mean you don't value life, it probably means you live it more...

i am all i am

YOUR IMMORTALITY

WHAT WOULD YOU SAY ?
IF I SAID YOU WERE FREE,
TO LIVE NIGHT AND DAY,
FOR ALL ETERNITY.

WITHOUT ANY LIES,
WITHOUT ANY PAIN,
WOULD IT BE A SURPRISE ?
WOULD YOU REMAIN ?

FOR LOVE GUARENTEES,
THAT THIS TRUTH CAN BE,
WITH A GIFT THAT FREES,
YOUR IMMORTALIY.

A TRUTH THAT IS SPOKEN,
A JOY YOU CAN LIVE,
IT IS LOVES TOKEN,
WHEN LOVE YOU GIVE.

FOR LOVE HAS GIVEN,
A CHOICE THAT IS FREE,
FOR YOU TO ENLIVEN,
YOUR IMMORTALITY.

With LOVE.

this body is no more real than the body you have in your dreams...

just because you leave this body behind it does not mean you cant do what you say... infact the reason we cant do as you say here is because of out bodies and how limited they are...

our 3d bodies are the least real thing about us.

Death can't come soon enough for me...i have no fear of anything...least of all death...
This 'reality' we live in shouldn't even be classed as 'life' ....it is merely 'existence'....we cannot live our lives to the full....free and abundant and full of joy...with no misery....that is what LIVING is all about.
Give me death anyday...im sure that is much more enjoyable than what we come to know as 'life'
But, i believe in reincarnation, and i believe everybody who is now on this planet living out their lives, are here for 'the end' of the matrix....and it can't come soon enough !

no offense mate, but...

i think the ideas you just summed up there, are not really backed up by a lot of proof.
reincarnation, the end of the matrix... a life without misery and all.
these are just beliefs. not direct observation.

it sure as hell sounds nice, but if there is not any proof what's the point in believing these kind of things.
perhaps you do not care if what you believe in, is true or false, and you prefer to create your own personal religion...
or something like that, i don't understand people :p

No offence, but i actually have had my proof of reincarnation.
And actually i do care what i believe in, unlike most of the jokers on this forum.

no offense taken.
if you want you can send me a private message and talk abit of how you got that proof, i'm interested in hearing about it.
if you prefer not to share this with me, this is also fine.
peace

Well, to talk about my 'proof' and my personal experiences regarding 'life after death' / reincarnation, would open me up to ridicule on here. I am not afraid of ridicule but i think that 'proof' of spiritual matters is defiately a personal thing.
All i can recommend maybe in order to get your own proof is:-
Visit a PROPER psychic sometime
Make friends with PROPER psychics/chanellers
Read many books by PROPER psychics/channelers
Meditate/use crystals and develop you intuition

I'm sure you will find your proof if you attempt to follow the above.

It could be that death actually is an illusion. Honestly! If there IS only now, when, pray tell me, did your great grandfather die, for example? Think about it, will ya?

Most people think,
Great God will come from the skies,
Take away everything
And make everybody feel high.
But if you know what life is worth,
You will look for yours on earth:
And now you see the light,
You stand up for your rights. jah!

:D
get up stand up by bob marley as if you needed telling .
Reincarnation is all well and good as is an afterlife everything is everything and the soul is immortal , but thats no reason to leave litter in the picnic area when we are going home to our clean and tidy houses !:D thought creates reality so we can think as well as do what we can to make it all ok here to remember we may come back here again and you wouldnt want to pick a crap holiday destination would you if you were gonna be there 4 a while :D

"If you are interested in 'New Age' thought or some of the Eastern religions and philosophies the next bit might be a bit of a surprise. The voice explained to me that the vast majority of 'incarnate' consciousness that left the 'physical' body at what we call 'death' did not consciously reconnect with the Infinite. Instead it moved to other 'non physical' dimensions of the Matrix. Consciousness may have withdrawn from the Time Loop, but it was still in the flytrap, albeit a less dense expression of it. Reincarnation was the cycle of consciousness moving in and out of the Time Loop from other levels of the Matrix. The concept of reincarnation is another creation of the Matrix entity to hold consciousness in a cycle of servitude while believing it is 'evolving' through experience in line with the New Age belief. "Do you think the Infinite has to reincarnate?" the voice said. "Consciousness in the Matrix is also the Infinite, so why does that have to reincarnate?" It doesn't, it just believes that it does."

I read a story of a man who was in his 80's and upon his death bed and he was relaying his thoughts to another in the room.
Basically he was saying that he regretted not being more free in his life, he wished he had of been a little bit more naughty in his earlier years and experienced a lot more.
From that story I personally have chosen to live each minute as if it were my last in this conciousness, so when I do eventually pass over, I will have no regrets. ;)

I believe we can influence other dimensional matter, I also believe we are all multidimensional beings;)

From: http://www.2012.com.au/real_matrix.html

i saw my dead body
lying on a steel table,
covered with a sheet,
with a tag on its toe.

and i started to cry
for all the wasted years.
i said out loud,
"i'm sorry i treated you so badly."

i've understood that death and life are part of a closed loop feedback system. the power of attention and denial are what keep me here. they still cling, but i work with them gently, listening to them, lulling them back to sleep or wherever they go, nothingness or just forgetfulness. :)
