View Full Version : Can anyone point me to where I can get photoshop?

I want to do some editing on photoshop but it costs like $500...Is there anywhere where I can get it for free?

Gimp is a good free legal prog almost as good as photoshop
the interface is wierd but you get used to it

Yes, the Gimp is excellent and free. It takes some study to learn it but so does Photoshop. I use both.

There is a web-based photo editing program called Picnik. All you need is a browser. I haven't tried it.

Actually there are quite a number of free image editing softwares available on the net, all you have to do is google "Free image editing software" ...

Photoshop isn't a Bill Gates (Microsoft) product. It's from Adobe.

And the most likely result is that you will get a virus or spyware and maybe even get done for copyright. Nice advice. Is this forum becoming a behive for encouraging the illegal downloading of copyrighted material or what? My advice for what it's worth, stick to the legal free stuff.

I would like it also but I can't afford it either. Its life, so we make the best of what is available for free or buy that which we can afford.

A simple honest solution to your problem.

A few good free progs worth having

gimp http://www.gimp.org/ does most things that photoshop does and it can read photoshop files too.

openoffice http://www.openoffice.org/ =microsoft office and yes it reads doc,and excile formats

blender http://www.blender.org/ nice 3d prog

download thease prog will save you hundreds and no problems cracks,virus and hacks

plus thease are avialable for varius os windows,linux,mac do need to learn new interface and easy to swap working files between os`s if you dual boot or what to migrate to another os at a later date
