I run a political blog and I have a political you tube channel. My computer since my blog got more and more political (this past 8 or 9mths) has been targetted more times than I can now remember.

I am shored up as good as you can get and my security must be pretty good now though not infallible.

Their new tactic or more recent one is via MSN messenger. So this is a warning to others who chat online. Get AVG free virus checker and keep that running, zone alarms is a good firewall also free. Both of these are recommended to me by programmers, so they must be good and I have used them for years.

If someone wants to send you a file (usually their pic in my case) scan it with AVG before you open it. If it says its clean BUT importantly scans as TWO files, where you see only one ie one jpeg is being scanned! Then they have sent you a soap virus. Dump these people and delete file from recieved files and empty you recycle bin. Run a virus check to see whether it has gone anywhere else and delete files accordingly.

I just got hit again last night by accepting someone's photo which was carrying a soap but I scan files when I get them anyway.

Beer is fine - I am not whisky fan though it is good for medicinal purposes.

Something interesting has happened. For some time I have suspected someone I know of not being quite what they say they are.

So bear in mind, I have just had this soap and deleted files. This person came and downloaded some stuff from net, due to my suspicions of this person I did not let them disconnect their flash drive and made up a story that I was going to have to virus check their flash drive incase I had passed on a virus, so I ran the check on their flash drive and sure enough there was the virus.

Which is now back on my pc. I just told the person that I will have to virus check their flash drive in future to make sure that is properly gone - ie prior to them actually doing anything on my pc and after.

Bear in mind also that a coincidence also happened - he was downloading a cover for Red Dragon, and the person who originally gave me the soap claimed to be Welsh.

Call me paranoid but I have suspected this local person for some time, I was just waiting for a situation to develop where I could run a virus checker on their flash drive. He is on benefits but seems to have no lack of money and I have spent ennough time on benefits to know that where he claims he is getting his money from is not enough for the lifestyle he leads.

I run 3 antivirus proggies. AVG, Avira, and ClamWin.

I had a nasty bout of some bagle worm a while back, but found the way to deal with it was to do a scan and then a pre-boot scan. You should also be able to do this with AVG. There are directions for it on the web somewheres.

If I didn't have to use Adobe programs I would be on Linux. As it is I am considering moving to MAC. Lots less virii there.

s

linux is not virus-proof! make sure you lock yours down, or use a locked-down version. Debian tends to be very tight.

Ohhhhh boy.... There are loads of spies out there.... Not James Bond super spies, but skanky little wanks who may have belonged to a gang way back or once did a ouija board have a family member in the masons....

And so these guys get their orders to monitor the social group around them... If one such guy monitors around 100 people max then how many for the whole adult population of 30 million, do you need? 300,000...

How many masons are there in the uk?

around 300,000...

Not all masons wear suits and ties and have grey hair....
When we think mason we think 'old man'.... This is a great cover to loads of people who do a great deal of evil when noone suspects a thing.

Thanks all, it is looking clean at the moment and my logs are not any cause for real concern. I may leave until tomorrow to format the drives ..yet again.. I have lost count how many times I have had to do this over the past 9 mths.

And yes, I can take some comfort in the fact that I now feel pretty certain the local rat has revealed himself and yes as you say he does seem to be involved with a wide number of locals. Keeping an eye on them? Yes most likely.

Have you ever had your telephone tapped? I have and still do. The last time this happened was a couple of weeks ago. I was talking to my mate and we were talking about everthing like 911 & thing's like that. But When we started to talk about Blair & Bush, [click on the line] we were being listened to. So when we then start taking the p*** out of who was listen. Everything is listened to, email's read, text messages. I have in the past had my mail opened, and that is no lie.

My old boss at work was ex services and had links with all sorts of people. He once told me that there is soft ware that is able to pick up on certain words that are said over the telephone lines. You said Bush and Blair, so it may well have picked up on those two words together.

Hi lord rothlizard, it only really happens when I mention anything the might upset these who think that they are above us. Mention NWO UFO's anything and click. As I have already state we take the p*** out of them, calling them all the name's and what nosey bastards they are.

Lol yes, I tend not to use it for deeply private conversations. And with my daughter we just say to each other "Will tell you later" for things that we would like to discuss but not with the spooks listening in.
