Hi everyone!
I'm posting this as I'd really love some opinions/ideas as to what my family and I could have witnessed. I have told it to a few people who come up with different possibilities.
This is going back around 5yrs ago, and was located in a forest not far from our home.
Also the forest is dense in parts, it also has wide clear trek paths that horse riders use, and the forest rangers, that stretch out with a clear view for several hundred metres.
It was the around 2pm on a mid summers day in July, and my husband, myself, our children and the youngest of our kids friend.
As we were walking along, we were looking at the beautiful types of mushrooms and toadstools etc, and also the huge crevices that are quite common in this forest - they're so wide and deep they almost look as if the earth could be opening up!
My husband and I were talking about lay lines etc, when my youngests friend asked what a lay line was, so I tried to explain to him what they were, and what with all my children being fascinated by the paranormal - I began to tell them that "hauntings" usually happen around ley lines, as the magnets act like a natural tape recorder.
I clearly remember saying to them "they replay time".
The next thing a bull terrier dog ran right over to us and down into the crevice, he seemed very excited (as all dogs do when they're out on a walk lol!) so I called to him, and he came over for a stroke, then the dogs owner came walking by, so I asked him what his dogs name was - he told me "Replay" - which was quite spooky in itself, and we all just looked at each other (kids included) as if to say "oh wow, how weird".
The gentleman (who was elderly) called the dog, and for around 5 seconds we all just stood in a sort of "uh oh" sort of state.
My husband then turned to me and said "were did they go" :confused: When we looked the gentleman and his dog were nowhere to be seen :confused:
We go to this forest all the time, and the trek trails are so clear, it would have been impossible for him to have scooted of in a different direction in such a short space of time, the dog maybe, but not the gentleman :confused:
Not only that, there was 6 of us there, and not one of us could see or hear either him or his dog - in fact the silence was eerie.
It was such a bizarre event, all of my children still remember it very clearly.
What do you think the explanation was? What do you think happened that day?
Even though I have experienced some strange happenings in my time, some of which have been shared by a few others, that was one of the most bizarre, especially with the conversation that we had all been having moments earlier.
Has anyone else experienced anything similar?
