it seems the press quite like to glorify drugs at the moment as well... its the same with a guy over here called Pete Docerty from an ok band called the libertines (not my bag) but he is not half as talented as many make out...

in the old days people like Jim Morrison... Hendrix... so on... these people were only glorified drug takers because it was clear to see how inspired they were and how channeled they were..... they has messages that resonated with people... this is where the whole drugs n rock n roll thing came from...

but today you see these ultra mainstream people... yet being glorified (even though not always upfront) into being these wonderful drug takers.... I wonder if the powers that be want kids to take drugs and say nothing.... you see the bands nowadays that have a positive message in their music... or some meaning are not really drug takers... or if they are it is done in their own space....

I agree that Amy Winehouse made the decision herself whether or not to take these drugs but when you are surrounded by a drug culture it becomes the norm (especially in her line of business) and you can be pressured to take them and ridiculed if you dont. I believe that is why Pete Doherty and Kate Moss are constantly on the news, they are "pushing" it on the population by making out it's glamourous. When she decided to take drugs I reckon her decision was possibly based on the brainwashing, so really, was it her choice ? There are other factors too why people find drugs attractive.

Remember who runs the drugs trade. Cui bono, who benefits.

I used to love acid as well tho it seems really synthetic and false to me now, really isnt calling me, wish i could say the same about MDMA :rolleyes: I agree that all drugs should be legalised. I think LSD is more dangerous than alcohol tbh, can see loads of people saying otherwise but you can freak out big time with LSD one time whearas with alcohol it is the users choice, well for the majority.

I think drugs are your friend, well psychadelics anyway, I use coke but its more I get drunk and want coke, which is bad but its just for fun it isnt serious, tho everyone knows it can be as bad as smack, and all my friends including me use it a lot more tan in the past. I know its bad for me as does my friends and its like banging your head against a brick wall but we still cant help it, actually maybe we do have issues lol:confused:
