Why don't forums

Why don't forums have a function that enables you to post audio messages. It would be cool if people could post audio messages to each other on the forum.

If you have a cam and a youtube account... you could do a video reply ;)... how annoying would that not be! :D

Indeed it would be VERY annoying, not to mention insulting and thoroughly distasteful. Therefore anybody who posted such material on this forum would not be a member here very much longer would they?

The nearest you could get to this is placing a link in the post that connects directly to a player that automatically plays the message.

Thanks albie, I know about acidplanet, I just thought it would be cool to do it on this site, people could leave messages about themselves, like what their interests are, and what they like to do ect, ect.

well you can always record your own audio through windows recorder and stick it on some web space and send the link of the URL ..likewise with your YouTube Videos...

maybe create a sticky thread just for this... personal pictures, videos, and audio recordings...

I don't expect to come on this forum and be attacked in such a sarcastic and totally uncalled for manner, just because you do not like the ideas I have, and I really don't want to be reading your foul language if you don't mind.

if i was attacking i would have done something childish like address the poster as Hemma Roids... or something of that nature.

If you have some webspace... just download something like "smart ftp" and you can upload any file you like via that.... then just send the whole url of where the mp3 file is and when you click it it should open up and play.... to download it you just right click on the file and save to a folder on your PC....
