London Olympics Symbolism

Now, I had read an article today about the 2012 Olympics logo, and how modern it looked. The problem that most people found was, if this symbol had come from Brazil or Japan, people would love it. People just aren't use to such an art coming from England.

Not bad. But something kept bothering me about this picture. Something just didn't seem right. So I did some further investigation, and what I found... WAS SHOCKING.

I have found, the original concept for the 2012 Olympics art. Strangely enough, the final print and this draft look quite the same. A few small changes. But the symbolism in the original was so shocking, no wonder it was toned down.

I saw Ian Crane live a few weeks ago and he showed how you can arange the logo to make the world "ZION".

Looks interesting! I understand how the first graphic was organised but I don't understand how you arrived at the second arrangement... how did you arrive at that?

What a fing ugly logo! Bleh! It reminds me of some kind of cheap fast food logo because of the colours. I reckon both the subliminals seen in this logo might be correct.

Now a days, when I see a logo like that, that I think there's is something not right with , if I contemplate it some more, I start seeing the subliminals.

The second logo was a joke photo from a site that takes the piss out of everything and it's mothers dog.

However, it does look similar. What I was saying was, if that logo had came from Japan or any other "modern" country, people would love it. When people think "England" they think old fashion, and such. Bronze statues of war hero(SIC), and the lot. But I personally like it.
