Can anybody help me with an interpretation of this dream?
Last night I dreamed that some friends and I went to a cricket game at night. We were being given medals because we played in a great side some years ago.
In the dream I get very drunk and a friend comes over to my place. We are under the house. I don’t really want to socialise. The next day I see my other friend and he tells me that the friend I saw last night is dead and that I have stabbed him. But the guy who came to see me at my house, who I didn’t want to see was found dead at my friend’s place, under his house. My other friend who found the body is very angry with me. I tell him I don’t remember doing that, that it couldn’t have been me. But something tells me that I did.
My friend then goes on to tell me that he wants nothing to do with me. He tells me that he and his dad had to go out and buy a coffin and some fertilizer. I think the fertilizer is to clean the body or something. Anyway he gives me a receipt for what he bought and leaves me alone. I'm left wondering if he will go to the police or give me time to get out of the country.
I check the receipt but there is no mention of a coffin or fertilizer on it. Instead there is something very mundane like a loaf of bread. Now, in my dream, I wonder if I am kind of dreaming or something. I feel relieved because the receipt means maybe I didn’t kill my friend. But I wake from the dream with unsettled feelings...like I did kill my friend...but i know I never would have done something like that.
What do you make of this?
