According to some scientists the global warming is happening on Mars as well due to increase of activity on the sun. I dont think it is stupid to assume that Earth is affected too by this. Maybe it is all the sun's "fault" and has nothing or less to do with pollution.
Me wonders why the politicians, the mainstream media and most scientists dont ever talk about this in public... It is just all talk about pollution.

because by blameing some scary global warming threat on pollution from our cars (and don't get me wrong pollution is yucky and I don't like it one bit, but carbon dioxide is a natural component of our atmosphere anyway!!!) they can create the "reason" for more control over ability to move about freely.
