Hello everyone. I picked up the book "x" by David Icke. It had a part in it where Credo Mutwa says the greys are named by the Zulus as Pinky-Pinky when they are NOT in their space suit. Well I find this VERY fascinating in light of the movie "Fire in the Sky" which was done in the mid-90s I believe. In that movie (based on a book--which I have not read) Travis Walton is abducted and "wakes up" while in the space ship. The aliens in this movie are flesh-colored... tannish, whitish, pinkish, etc. Look very "old" and are small. The main thing is that Travis Walton (again, in the movie--don't know about the book) says "space suits..." as he is moving around undetected at the time. The space suits are basically the outfit that if worn would unquestionably be "Greyling." This would be very interesting if this is in the book and if it completely coincides with Credo Mutwa from Africa who I don't imagine ever collaborated with a logger in Arizona, U.S.A.

Okay, tell me what you all think.

I've seen the movie too and I also haven't read the book. My understanding is that the movie took many liberties with the true accounts given in the book. For example, I believe Travis said there was a "Nordic" type alien aboard the ship but this was never mentioned in the movie. I also don't think the examination scene was accurate.

I thought the space suit bit was interesting too. I don't know if that came from the book or was an addition by the filmmakers.

The book is awful. I liked the film, but it must be viewed as a horror movie and not an accurate portrayal of real life events. In the book, Walton's aliens looked like adorable little children's toys. In the movie they were horrifying, Gigeresque creatures that appeared to be spawned in the depths of hell. Also, Walton did not float around in some kind of gooey chamber filled with jelly zombies. Nothing even remotely like that happened in the book. And in the book, Walton met with two statuesque humans that gave him a tour of the facilities. The makers of the movie wanted everything to be scary, so they left that out. The space suits worn by the aliens in the book looked like goofy orange jumpsuits. I forget what they looked like in the movie, but I would imagine that they probably looked menacing.

The book is boring beyond belief, but the details come from Walton and not Hollywood producers. The movie clearly depicts scenes which are false, but they are entertaining. It just depends on which you'd rather have.
