I have a standing heart rate of 47 beats per minute...according to online sources, anyone under 60 beats per minute has something called "bradychardia", which is the fancy medical term for a slow heart rate...at just 47 beats I fall well within this bracket.

I always feel tired, washed out, and in general lack vitality. The only thing that seems to alleviate this condition is excercise but the demands of my job and my life in general means i dont have enough time to get to the gym everyday.

Anyone out there know of any LEGAL tricks or plants etc that speeds up the heart rate?

I had sinus bradycardia at 31 bpm found that was ignored by a certain Professor of a CFS Uint and i eventually found out...privately it was due to Hypothyroidism...since Armourthyroid it has normalised, no thanks to NHS i might add.

Yeah, I've got diagnosed with that but the Doctors don't see it a problem. My heart rate goes up to around 90-100 bpm when I am exercising, which is fine, according to them.
