Where are you from? Amerigirl I imagine is from the US like me and I have never in my life heard anyone refer to a tit as anything other than a succulent melon on a female's chest. I looked it up in the dictionary expecting to find the qualifier, "Chiefly British" but none such existed.

I'm from the U.K. and they're pretty common there.. Just so you know I'm not making it up, here's a google image search..:D
