back in the 1920s it is alledged that Stalin's scientists were at work on creating human/ape hybrids to provide a strong and tireless workforce as well as tough soldiers to serve the motherland.
It would appear that the experiments were a failure, but one cannot help but ponder if a link could exist between this and ape-like humanoid creatures that are reported to exist in the Urals.
