Pressure on left side of abdomen

For a while now I have had this pressure on my left side, it almost feels as if my intestine is pushing against my abdominal wall. Sometimes I get quite bloated and you can see the bulge, while there is no bulge on my right side. What could this be?

This feeling could be associated with your colon, and it is best to get it checked out by a health practitioner before you move on to self treat.

If it's in your lower abdoman it could be diverticulitis. Always on the left side. It happened to my mother, my brother and my friend. All three ended up with colostomy bags for months. Then it happened to me. I kept getting intense pain and infection. And Cipro is not a fun drug. I opted for surgery before I ended up with a colostomy. They took out about 7 inches of my colon. Go get it checked out because it could kill you.

I forgot to mention, I have had it for around 3-4 years now (Never got round to getting it checked out), so it's not likely to be serious is it?
