Hi there.
Just wondering if anybody here knows D.I. himself personally?
Hunch I get about him is: high-strung, fear-driven
Just a hunch... How 'bout you, forumites?

Well i haven't met him but the feeling i get is what i've seen from his lecturers. Funny guy, really smart, not fear driving but more wanting to know the truth.

Cant say for sure though, wont know till i meet him i guess.

What is your point? What does what you think (hunch) about him - have to do with him?

Watch his presentations and you will get your own perception.

All I can say is he has Balls - Big ones!

he is funny, well researched, to the point, very intelligent and wise, and very very pissed.

I think its a very nice guy and that he has great british humour. I was watching Freedom to fascism on google here (http://video.google.nl/videoplay?docid=-3046047806606448859) and it,s not only very interesting but he brings in some of that great britsh humour.

Independent, ballsy, intelligent, open minded big-picture kinda guy.

I also think that he is changing in recent years, from what i can tell of his talks and his books, that he is emotionally absorbing all the stuff he has talked about more than ever before.

Lots of people give him shit, in fact its a hobby for some, but the truth of the matter is that if it weren't for him and his genuine talent for informing masses of people, many wouldn't be as far as they are today.

I think if he's pissed he's only projecting his own inner turmoil, just as any other human on this planet, IMHO.

I agree with teslafire....Icke is not fear-driven - he is ballsy!

Some of the forum members met David personally during the
taping of one of the pod-casts filmed earlier in the year
(available for viewing in the subscriber forum). I'm sure when
some of them come back online they'll be able to give you their
personal take on David.

He strikes me as a man who discovered that very little is what it
seems to be on the face of things, so has made a determined effort
ever since to spend his time uncovering the true nature of our reality.
I'm personally grateful that he and other researchers involved in
'truth-seeking' have chosen to share their research with others.

I have met him ... and TBH what you see is what you get... one thing I noticed when meeting him is he is actually quite a funny guy..... more of a "lad" than you would think, but its very clear he is passionate... and once he gets chatting about stuff and see's you actually are open to it... its like he just fires off and really appreciates that fact you are listening... you can clearly see that he whole heartedly believes in everything he is saying...

I think you may be right that he could be a little high strung,... and probably has a little bit of an ego... but to stand up in front of thousands of people and talk about how they are all brainwashed...bla bla... then you have to have a bit of an ego! .... its a requirement... I think most people who have their eyes open can be highly strung because as much as you are in more control... you dont have that ignorant numbing drug of ignorance to take the edge off things.... but you are also rewarded by moving in a direction that actually interests and inspires you, to take the edge of things...

as for being fear driven, im not sure what you mean... He is not afraid him self as he understands the bigger pictures.... I think he feels a motivation to encourage others to do so and see's that its fear that is preventing them from understanding it... To see the evil ways of some people and to not be at all motivated to tell people about it... I think that would be fear driven.
