When most haunted first came on,it was different,something new.It had an innocence/naievety about it.I still watch it just in case they catch something on camera,which they occasionally do,like moving chairs etc.But i cant help feeling that they know theyre on a roll and are milking it for all its worth.loads of questions like,why is it always yvette who hears/sees things first.David wells sees ghosts all the time around him......sees a dark shadow in a corner and runs away like a girl with absolute terror on his face! youd think he'd be used to it.Hardly no need to mention derek acorah,since hes left the shackles of most haunted he can have has many "possessions" has he likes on Ghost towns.What do you guys think?

No seriously it is good telly i havent seen it in years no tv now .But yvettes husband owns the production company i heard so it makes sound economicla sense as hymie henderson used to say .Check this link out for wightghost on the isle of wight, the do some good stuff and this is the latest vigil they did well spooky stuff from the pics they have taken .

ive been to the botanical gardens in ventnor in daytime and seen plenty so it would be well scary come nightime, i think it says video to follow on there check it out i have spoken to some of the people involved and know it is a genuine set up , not just a tv ratings effort .Having said that at least most huanted has brought the subject to a wider audience and proof and faith are a matter of personel belief.:eek: :D

I used to like it more when Derek Acorah was in it...wow....haha..he was proper entertaining he was...!
My general opinion of the show is that it is as real as it gets, but they do milk it for everything they can, the slightest noises, movements etc... but i would not agree with the many people who say it is all fixed, or all faked or whatever....but also i wouldn't go as far as to say i think it's all 100% genuine....but i think Derek Acorah was basically a well-meaning and entertaining psychic...i have a dvd of his "the psychic world of Derek Acorah" i think it's called, and he does come across as being very sincere and genuine, although i have read a couple of internet stories about some of his shows on stage having people 'planted' in the audience, but i do not know if this is true or not, i would say not.
David Wells is a good psychic, he seems to be quite accurate.
I do watch most haunted most weeks, in fact it's one of the only things i watch on TV at all.
But the Derek days were definately the best days for me anyway haha ....

I've said all along that I don't think MH is fixed par se .. I think exaggerated is how I'd describe it ..

I'm part of an investigation group myself based in the North East - and we happenned to go to the North East Air Museum a couple of months before MH's visit to the place was aired ..

.. when it did air, they got pretty much the same as what we managed to pick up on your visit - things thrown at us, similar noises from the same aircraft we picked up, focused on one particular helicopter, David Wells picked up on the same spirits our mediums got etc etc

The difference between 'them' and 'us' was they they seemed to get something going on every 5 bloody minutes while ours was a bit intermittent.

So to me : exaggerated

My wife and I do this for 'fun' (ghost hunts,cleansings,etc) and I can honestly tell you that for the most part, what they get on Most haunted is the real deal. My wife will sit there watching it on t.v. and get almost the exact information David Wells is getting (yes she's a psychic extraordinaire). I know Derek Acorah has 'oversold' some of the posessions and the filming on his little program is atrocious considering the camera pretty much stays on him and the bimbo all the time, and not on the surrounding location, where it SHOULD be. And the other dolt..... 'open minded sceptic?!?!?!' My ass he's an open minded sceptic--he screams and runs like a little girl.
As for Most Haunted- it's authentic, if oversold a little in the dramatics.
Anybody got a favorite episode?
One of our favorites was their visit and overnight stays aboard the Queen Mary.....GOOD STUFF THERE.

At its core MH is quite a good program,some of the rapping and moving furniture are quite convincing.The table-tipping is being overdone a bit.I think David wells is ok its just at times he bothers me,he backs up yvette at every turn or seems to.Derek was and is embarrassing.In the early days they only had one camcorder and 1 or 2 people in the room,now theyve got hi-tec equipment and theres about 300 people in a room with them.Why spend only 24 hrs in a location?..try a month,see what happens.Keiron o'keefe overplays the skeptic side a bit..some of his explanations are hilarious.Anyway,i could on for days so i'll stop now,i'll start to ramble.The queen mary one was very good......oh .by the way,most hauned need the drop the Interactive bit of their live shows...the bit where people text in to say what theyve seen on the webcams is unbearable.Has anything actually been caught on the webcams?

I used to watch MH when it first started, then when I started again after a few years I wondered why all the ghosts had suddenly started throwing stones.

Meh! Such is the after life.
